Loving the updates Jordan. That really stinks that Kim's flight was cancelled. I just hate how plans can get messed up like that. Can't wait to see wendy and Gang and to see if Kim's flight finally made it.

She wasn't happy, but I tried to put into perspective for her. They weren't going to do much that day so they really weren't missing much. I think she was better when we finished our virtual conversation..

Poor Kim and Allan stuck in New Jersey . I hope they make it to Disney soon!

missing teeth are the norm at the one closest to our house, but I don't even know if you can buy overalls anywhere in SoCal.

Let's see Test Track 2x, Imagination, The Seas with Nemo, Living with the Land from about 11:30pm to about 3:00pmish. So not bad at all. Plus lots of sitting and people watching.

Crazy? yes. Get away? No. Although the more we stayed together, the more I thought the Disney Police would kick us out or have us arrested, or something. I think some of the park guests thought we were part of the park entertainment...

Okay I am coming out of lurkdom to ask a question (I am a new reader to your TR). Who are your peeps? Random people or do they they have to fit a criteria? I apologize if the answer is in these many pages, but I don't have enough time in my day to read all these pages, I just focus on your updates .

Just have to say also I think you are a very funny guy, your writing is great and I love your pics, especially the expression on your face in some of them. Have to show DH the picture of you dancing, you must have been doing the robot (he always threatens to embarrass me with that one at weddings and such ).

Again, am enjoying your report, thanks for sharing!!!

Peeps go all the way back to my PTR in 07...Peeps, at least in my case, are anyone of the Asian Persuasion. I started standing in the middle of large tour groups back in the 90's sometime and Wendy would snap off a few pics. Now I do similar things, but my tongue and the Asian power fist seem to show up as well.

No, fortunately Jordy and I are only related by marriage, although we do share the same birthday....go figure. But I have been known to be his campaign manager in his political role as "mayor of the pool" (inside joke from a non DIS trip).

The one that got me was the 300lb-ish woman and her 200lb-ish daughter in matching boy shorts and bikini tops at MK. Wow.... I have to wonder what they thought when they got dressed that morning and why didn't the people that love them stop them!

Me too...but the end part outside is still my favorite ride, period. And it's only a minuscule part of the ride!

This was one of my most memorable days. I wasn't tired from any walking yet. It was rather hilarious crossing the park several times to find Blue.

When we walked in to mouse gears, I believe the first thing you did was turn to me and say "Did you fart?" NOPE! You know you are close to someone when you can ask that question in the MIDDLE OF A BUSY DISNEY STORE!!! Little do you know, Cherie and I love the LWTL as well. It's a nice boat ride with lots of vegetables, fishes, and underwater creatures. You get to look at neat stuff outside the boat too.

I think you forgot to mention that at our breakfast at Kona, you stated that you are good friends with someone when you share their food with them. Again, More fun. Loved It!!!

I think my ribs hurt that evening from laughing so bad. We decided that there should be a "What Not To Wear - Disney Edition". Clinton and Stacey would have to be taken out of Epcot in ambulances. The perfect place to see what not to wear is just outside EWoE.

there is a reason Jeff calls it Walfart and I refuse to go there.

I bet you could get overalls at Piggly Wiggly....or Farm and Feed. But you'll need to drive north, south or east of LA to actually find one of those.

Just wanted to say hi as I don't like to just be a lurker. I've been reading your trip report via the links you posted in the first post. You are tooooo funny!

I'm honored that you are posting on my TR, your TR totally puts others to shame.

I've lurked on yours, but am intimidated to post since you're pretty far into your TR...


The funny is inspired by the stuff that just seems to happen on vacations! I can't make the stuff up.

Hi Jordan, What a great start to your first day! The cool thing is that we the reader get to relive your first day over and over. By reading the trip reports of Winkers, Blue, Rosie we already have some idea of it before we read yours. Plus with the live updates you sent for us we really feel included!

Kathy, I so know how you feel about reliving the first day over and over and over again...as if I were there.....oh I guess I was, but Jordy left his past peeps for his new ones. Wendy, me, the kids, Kim and Allan were "Team B" while Cherie, Cherie, Rosie, and the gang were "Team A".

I can't say I'd complain though.....stayed out of trouble with Jordan hanging with his new "family".
