I am glad Grace wasn't with you when you walked into the stinky store. She is really into telling us when something stinks lately. She would have made several loud announcement that " Somebody stink in here " Those are her famous words lately. She forgot her lil blankie at the dentist office the other day and she threw it when I gave it back to her because she said it was stinky. She smells every place we go and announces if it is stinky or not.

I am surprised Cherie didn't collect any dollar bill for all her pole dancing. It sure looks like you had a fun trip.

Chapter 7. The Places You'll Go.

For some reason, as I started thinking about this update, Dr Suess' The Places You Will Go popped in my head.

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.

i got this book as a gift for high school graduation. SUCH a great book!

I was so excited that I had to dance:

i think the girls behind you are in awe of your moves.

After our ride.....I had to use the restroom..you know the one...The best restroom in all of WDW...

glad you got to visit your special place on your first day!

The one picture I'm posting...9 lb lemons. Nuff said.

they say a fetus at 12 weeks is the size of a lime. i really hope they aren't referring to those limes.

Photo Theme Alert

The first sleeping pic of the trip:

all that pole dancing just wore her out.

Love the update and a relaxing way to go through some of EPCOT!!!:goodvibes Great start to a vacation :thumbsup2

I may have to borrow the people sleeping pictures idea :rotfl2: My DH can fall asleep on Test Track if I kept him out too late at MK the night before :rotfl: Thanks for the new idea:yay:

Hooray, just got all caught up...of course, I should be unpacking..but hey! I got one duffle unpacked already! Your Epcot day sounded superproductive to me for some odd reason :rolleyes1: Seriously though, looks like you had a lot of fun! I like the photo themes thus far. :goodvibes:

:welcome: Derek...it is completely addicting (thus only one of our bags being unpacked), but such a fun group!

Yeah, I liked BLT and would characterize somewhere between W hotels and Westins in terms of contemporary styling like dark wood with glass doors. I loved it because Ws are usually too hip for this 40 something while Westins are comfortable but a bit boring at time.
I know EXACTLY what you mean and completely agree.

It's why we usually stay at Kimpton properties whenever we can. That and we don't own anything, anywhere!

Yeah, we had to enlighten his folks (and his visiting brother Jeff) that Jordy has his peeps and groupies.

Okay, Wendy has said her peace and I have to admit my curiosity got the best of me...but I'm too scared to read past posts to see how much of my so called private life is public.

Oh good, maybe if my DH joins (and I can tell he's starting to think about it) he won't go too far back. I definitely fall into the overshare. You are safe though I think.

So funny!!! DH and I used to IM each other from different rooms to talk. Such is the communication style of the 21st century. Sigh. :surfweb:

We share a architects desk and email each other all the time. While sitting directly across from each other.

:rotfl:

Niiice. :thumbsup2

We texted back and forth and she said they were booked on a 6:30pm flight with a 9:00pmish arrival at MCO. Bummer. At least, there were no big plans that night for them.
Illustrating my firm belief that no concrete plans shoudl ever be made for Arrival Eve! :sad2:

The one picture I'm posting...9 lb lemons. Nuff said.

What's not to love about a 9lb lemon?

Loving the updates Jordan. That really stinks that Kim's flight was cancelled. I just hate how plans can get messed up like that. Can't wait to see wendy and Gang and to see if Kim's flight finally made it.

I can assure you the women's side is just as good. :thumbsup2
Kinda hard to come by when your in a public park. One thing I will say...please don't go to this alone, make sure your DH is with you, it's kinda off the beatin path.
Would a lap blanket on the floor be your best route since you have to keep your other baby cakes close by? I don't know how you mommy's do it with more than one close in age, let alone with disabilties  Kudos to you Melissa! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the update on the girls' side Camille! I actually do ask DH to take Tessa sometimes. Women take boys into the bathroom all the time right? I guess 4 yrs old is getting a little too old to do that anymore, although I'm sure he screens the room before entering. When I take her, I'm always telling her "Don't touch anything!" so she's gotten to the point of asking me if she can touch her body while she puts her hands on her belly. She really pushes to the limits. One time I took her we did okay in the potty part, but as I'm getting the sink turned on and the soap dispensed for her she LICKED HER HAND. Seriously!? What on earth would posses a person to do that? It's not like I told her "don't lick your hand"....Anyway, thankfully Phoebe can sort of stand (she holds onto me or a rail or something) so I can get her changed in a bathroom. I used those baby changing tables until she was about 5.

... on jury duty. :faint:

Sorry to hijack but since I posted about this before... I was selected for the jury pool. As I was questioned and moved into the jury box, the attorneys were starting to do their eliminations and so I was waiting for them to call me and then I heard the dreaded words..."we accept the jury as seated" :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

Bummer! You were supposed to give them something to be afraid of. Although I hear they're getting desperate. Used to exclude law enforcement and such but not anymore, or so I hear. Maybe you never stood a chance. :sad2:

Welcome Derek!

Whew! No wonder Cherie fell asleep on the bus with all that crossing the park! ;)

Poor Kim and Allan stuck in New Jersey :(. I hope they make it to Disney soon!

Laughed out loud when I read that you decided to start randomly saying hello to people outside of UoE! :rotfl2:

Hurray for Peeps pics and more pole dancing! :lmao:

Lol. I should hope you don't have mommy brain. ;) Anywho! I'm thinking I may have to print out the whole list of smilies for the DIS to use when replying to the DIS on my phone.

I love how excited that woman is to see an impromptu performance of The Robot. She is exclaiming, "That's Jordanyosh!"

That's what I was thinking too. lol

I didn't even notice them until now! :rotfl2:

I think they were just overcome by my awesome dancing.

Yes...the robot is an awesome dance...especially when performed by the one and only Jordan. :D

You've all been the topic of many conversations lately......Wendy apparently spilled the beans to my family yesterday at a family get together....:scared1:

lol. That is quite the scary thought.

I really have to use weekends to focus on other things, which is good for family, but bad for keeping caught up here. Throw in a holiday weekend, and my posting is toast.

Don't you hate it when you have to go "that bad" but you're in bed?? Sometimes, I'd rather just wet, it's so cozy. :lmao:

Ditto the weekends on my end as well. Heck, just this past weekend we spent Saturday at the mall having our eyes checked and getting new glasses and then upgrading our phones. I think we left the house at 9:30am and didn't get home till after 3. >_< Then Sunday was spent at another mall...all day shopping for shoes for my mom. Sometimes I wonder why I feel the need to get out of the house on the weekends at all. And then I remember I'm stuck at home 4 days a week with a 6 month old and 2 year old.

Oh well. At least this coming weekend will be worth getting out. My spoiled 2 year old gets to go to his 2nd Disney on Ice in less than 6 months. :D

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Liesa, too funny. This morning I had to go, but I was too groggy and fell back asleep. I'm surprised I didn't go....I must've been tired.

Too may mornings have I resisted the urge to get up and go...but alas, more sleep gets put on the back burner as the urge is often just to much.

I don't know, but it's been a topic everywhere lately. Many of my "real" friends have been finding out about my "secret" DIS life....

Oh no...the secret is out. ;)

I take no responsibility: I must put the disclaimer that I have never once encouraged, insinuated, pushed, etc. DH to participate in the DIS. So he is entering at his own risk (especially after teasing me about it) - so later on, you are all my witnesses that if he shakes his fist at me later, it was never my doing. And darn, now I have to share my secret world with him. Hee hee.

Lol. I keep wondering how long till my DH joins the DIS. I secretly hope he nevr does. I like to have my "me" time. ;)

Cant you guys just yell from room to room...:rotfl2:

Too funny that we're all on....I just finished watching Castle..REALLY funny, but kinda too kinky for my tastes.

Lol. One of my best friends and his wife sit right next to each other while online and IM each other. Makes me laugh.

... on jury duty. :faint:

I'm all "no, no... more challenges please...!!" But apparently they were happy with us :headache: :headache: :headache:

Grrrrrrrrrrrr. So I'm not sure what that's going to do to my DISing for the next weeks, but apparently DH will fill in for me.

DIS time becomes non-existant during the day. :( Hopefully the trial goes quicker than the month it's supposed to be. Good luck!

 Terry and I text message each other from different rooms... I will text him to bring me a bottle of water if he is occupying the TV and I retreat to the bedroom... He always asks if I could have just gotten up and grabbed one myself... I say, nope, you were closer!!

Lol. My husband and I do that all the time. :D

My 2 year old has said things like that lately. Gotta love being a mom. lol

Ack, I missed an update. OMG, love the robot dance. Reminds me of the Chappelle show. :rotfl2:

Bathroom ratings, very good to know. Thank you for the candid, honest reviews. :thumbsup2

That was a nice, relaxing time at EPCOT!
Love the pic right before using the restroom! :rotfl2:
Really enjoying the photo themes!

Jordan ~ Love the dancing and your LGMH tag!!

How wonderful to have a practically Non-Planned Epcot day in front of you! :cloud9:

Bummer about Kim's cancelled flight... the same thing happened to my boss's daughter that day. :sad1: They couldn't get a flight until the next day!

Darn snow!

Kathy

Wow, sounds like a great day so far! The weather looks pretty nice, or was it cold that week too?

Okay I am coming out of lurkdom to ask a question (I am a new reader to your TR). Who are your peeps? Random people or do they they have to fit a criteria?:confused3 I apologize if the answer is in these many pages, but I don't have enough time in my day to read all these pages, I just focus on your updates :thumbsup2.

Just have to say also I think you are a very funny guy, your writing is great and I love your pics, especially the expression on your face in some of them. Have to show DH the picture of you dancing, you must have been doing the robot (he always threatens to embarrass me with that one at weddings and such ).

Again, am enjoying your report, thanks for sharing!!!

I love how excited that woman is to see an impromptu performance of The Robot. She is exclaiming, "That's Jordanyosh!"

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, Cynthia!

I'm so bummed you didn't get a pic of the fashion faux pas - I love those! I will however, admit to wearing overalls as late as the mid to late 90s. But, I was an art student at the time. I felt they portrayed a certain irony...;)

I'm all caught up via the links! Looks like a great start to your vacation!

Just wanted to say hi as I don't like to just be a lurker. I've been reading your trip report via the links you posted in the first post. You are tooooo funny!
