Okay. I don't EVEN want to know what that means :rolleyes1

Tammie, you'll have to read the old PTR or wherever it's posted about the pool report. Suffice it to say, Jordan was caught red handed smoking :smokin:in front my Father-In-Law, a retired pastor and Jordan's uncle.....he was also buying rounds for everyone in the pool, thus the title Mayor of the Pool.

As for passing of gas, I have to say, Jordan doesn't wear the crown. My best man's wife (then his girlfriend) takes the hat for filling a room to the point of no more oxygen during a past past trip to Palm Springs in Jordan's aunt's old condo. These are some memories I can live to forget.:lmao:

I did it!! I've read them all....from your very first PTR:goodvibes and loved every word! So many times I wanted to chime in but felt a little intimidated but seeing you eat from the trash can, drool, and discuss your poo....well....I guess I can chime in. ;)
Thank you so much for sharing your trips and life with all of us. Too bad that your niece won't be out of school for a May-June trip. Would love to meet you all.

Never feel intimidated....we are a very open, loving, dysfunctional family here....

I would like to go earlier than late June, but that's the breaks....

Thanks for posting....

Babies in overalls TOTALLY fine...

Hillbillies in overalls TOTALLY fine...

That lady at Epcot TOTALLY NOT fine.....
:lmao: hey, at least she didn't have a hole for her belly....gotta be greatful for the small things in life.

Overalls are ok....on some.
The one that got me was the 300lb-ish woman and her 200lb-ish daughter in matching boy shorts and bikini tops at MK. Wow.... I have to wonder what they thought when they got dressed that morning and why didn't the people that love them stop them!
dang, I guess I better not wear my new outfit...I was thinking I could really rock some boy shorts.;)

actually....:scared1::scared1::scared1:
I want the mirror they were using.

I had a green pair...yes...bright kelly green...that I adored. Oh the name brand escapes me but it was "the" thing at the time.

there is a reason Jeff calls it Walfart and I refuse to go there.

I bet you could get overalls at Piggly Wiggly....or Farm and Feed. But you'll need to drive north, south or east of LA to actually find one of those.

:rotfl:

walfart!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I have to admit to the overall craze but in my defense I was a teen...but they were actually shortalls and we wore them with either white knee high socks or leggings....add in the blue eyeshadow and giagantic hair...I was lookin pretty good.;)

Ugh I knew I would miss a ton!

Tried reading all of the banter but I brought you back some souvenir pics so I wanted to catch up quick and post them

The kids look adorable!

I absolutely love the BLT rooms! Especially all of the artwork!

The places you'll go is a great book my parents bought it for me for my 8th grade graduation

I have to try out that bathroom next time! :lmao:

I love living with the land!

So as I said here are your souvenir pics

I took this one because this topic comes up quite often on this thread :lmao:
disneymypictures079.jpg

I didn't mean to take this one but when I saw it I knew I had to post it on your tr ;)
disneymypictures309.jpg

The kids are soo cute and mostly well behaved...

BLT was very nice.....

There are several nice restrooms around the WORLD.

Living with the Land is my fave ride at Epcot...:confused3

Regarding your pics...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: to the first one....did you look at the pic and think of me?:rotfl2:

Was the 2nd picture at American Idol?

I remember being in middle school when the overalls were popular... And the boys would pick up the girls by the back of them... Can you say wedgie???

Hi Jordan, Yes I do! My oldest is 19 and a Sophomore at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Thank you for the compliment-and yes, that is me at Epcot last October. I am 42 until June!

I am off on Mondays too-that is the only day our restaurant is closed. I read that you are off on Mondays. I guess Sunday is a busy day for you. It is our busiest day at work too-everyone loves bbq on Sunday, especially if the weather is nice.

I was remembering the counter service in Disneyland that serves the grilled veggies and meats on a stick-they were delicious! Do you know the name of it? It may have been in Adventureland. You are so lucky to live in California. It is a beautiful state. We have been to visit San Diego, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Costa Mesa, and San Fransisco over the years and we LOVE the food and the weather in all the cities. We have very cold and slushy winters, rainy springs, and sticky summers here in Pa. I always remember California as being blue skies and sunny!:goodvibes

I wish I had your Fountain of Youth secrets.....

I take it you have a BBQ restaurant. I think you said that at some point....I'm super busy on Sundays, but Saturdays are actually busier with both meetings AND events often scheduled on the same day.

Bengal BBQ is the place you are thinking of at Disneyland. I've never eaten there since it's always crazy busy. It was cool and windy today, but clear.

You haven't even been to Yosemite, Carmel, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Napa, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach....

... on jury duty. :faint:

Sorry to hijack but since I posted about this before... I was selected for the jury pool. As I was questioned and moved into the jury box, the attorneys were starting to do their eliminations and so I was waiting for them to call me and then I heard the dreaded words..."we accept the jury as seated" :scared1:

I'm all "no, no... more challenges please...!!" But apparently they were happy with us :headache: :headache: :headache:

Grrrrrrrrrrrr. So I'm not sure what that's going to do to my DISing for the next weeks, but apparently DH will fill in for me.

 Sorry Wendy, but I have to say....I would rather have someone like you on a jury than some of the people I've seen out and about in public these days. When did people get to be so nasty?!? Case and point, the woman that Blue ran into. :confused3 Since I shared a snit, I will share a praise....The other night when I took my dn9 and dd10 to see Alice In Wonderland I had to sit them on a row behind me due to the amount of people already in the movie theater. The people sitting next to them and the lady sitting next to me were the nicest people I've encountered in a long time. They were so helpful! :lovestruc
I had to seat the girls and then go get our drinks and popcorn and such, the people handed stuff to the girls for me and the lady sitting next to me took things out of my hands as I came back to the seat so I could sit down. All without me even asking for help! :yay: Isn't that so sweet?!?
I thanked them profusely after the movie, they truly restored my thinking that there are people out there who really want to be helpful and loving towards others even if it doesn't get them something in return.
It's much more fun being that way than it is to be a bump on a log or nasty to someone, ya know?

i am loving the dual-DISing... Ever sense I bought Terry his laptop, we DIS together in bed... Of course one of our friends asked, "Can't you find something else to do in there???" :confused3:rotfl:

Hope it was a good friend!

they say a fetus at 12 weeks is the size of a lime. i really hope they aren't referring to those limes.

all that pole dancing just wore her out.

:rotfl2: Those nine pound limes are about as big as my kids were when they were born! Seriously.

Thanks for the update on the girls' side Camille! I actually do ask DH to take Tessa sometimes. Women take boys into the bathroom all the time right? I guess 4 yrs old is getting a little too old to do that anymore, although I'm sure he screens the room before entering.

My rule of thumb on this for both kids were when they could see "you know what," at eye level, it was time to go to appropriate bathrooms! LOL
When I take her, I'm always telling her "Don't touch anything!" so she's gotten to the point of asking me if she can touch her body while she puts her hands on her belly.

 This made me laugh, it sounds like something my daughter would have said when she was that age.

She really pushes to the limits. This is pretty much the norm with all kids to some level or another.
One time I took her we did okay in the potty part, but as I'm getting the sink turned on and the soap dispensed for her she LICKED HER HAND. Seriously!? What on earth would posses a person to do that? It's not like I told her "don't lick your hand"

:rotfl2: OMGoodness!! That is the funnies thing I've heard in a long time!! That totally sounds like something my daughter would have done!!! I'm sorry.... I laugh now, but it's only because I'm not at that place any more, enjoy it while you can, it doesn't last long.

....Anyway, thankfully Phoebe can sort of stand (she holds onto me or a rail or something) so I can get her changed in a bathroom. I used those baby changing tables until she was about 5.

you obviously dont have the same walmart shopping crowd as we do around here?

I think I have to agree with you, but we don't have the hilarious overalls that Winkers found.

I'm finally catching up on some past welcome posts....remember, I'm still a newbie

I'm glad we didn't push you in the opposite direction!:thumbsup2

Nope, instead you pulled me into the dark side. Loved meeting you and your DH.

Thanks for posting the BLT pictures Jordan (and Wendy and Derek). I wasn't real keen on BLT either until we took the tour last summer, and then I had to summon some self-control to keep from adding-on points there. I think it's nicer in person than in pictures for some reason.
I totally agree. Saw the pictures online and wasn't too impressed but in person, I rated it nicer than our Westin Maui (Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort) which gets high, high marks from everyone.

Welcome to the disboards Derek! You're posting like a madman....soon you'll have "veteran" status. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Just trying to get my feet wet on the posting...I'm finally past 10 though! Now I just need to master posting photos, my photos that is.

Great photos Derek/Jordan. Cute as a button kids. Liked the room. Looking forward to the baclony photos and of the pool (if you have any). Hoping to stay there in Novemeber instead of SSR. Not huge fans of the modern/sleek lines but love the location of BLT!
This you'll love BLT. Have to post balcony photos when I've mastered it.

first of all
:welcome: Derek!

I'm thinking it's the second....

Hmmn...maybe my DH will make the jump one of these days, now THAT would be interesting! DISmeets is all it took huh?
Tell him to talk to me....I'll sell him on DIS.

Come to the dark side young DisneyJedi
DarthJordy:darth:
Yes, you are the dark side.

Have a great day Derek! Looking forward to seeing your photos!
Sorry, didn't get to attend the house building at our church. Maybe next year.

LOVE the look of BLT! i really want to stay there one day. i can't afford a MK view but that doesn't really bother me....the decor is just so classy. love it!
and wendy, as always, your kids are just adorable!

Hey, they're half my genes....but yes, BLT is worth the stay but I loved the bay lake view.;)

Living with the Land is my fave ride at Epcot...:confused3
Don't you mean, living with the plants....I have as much fun on that ride as going through the landscaping section at Home Depot...but alas, others must enjoy it too as seen in the 40 minute lines......:rolleyes2

It would make for some interesting smilies. I could just see :farts: look like a smilie farting. :lmao:

ask your wife I think she has a few smilie farts.

This was one of my most memorable days. I wasn't tired from any walking yet. It was rather hilarious crossing the park several times to find Blue.

When we walked in to mouse gears, I believe the first thing you did was turn to me and say "Did you fart?" :headache: NOPE! You know you are close to someone when you can ask that question in the MIDDLE OF A BUSY DISNEY STORE!!!:lmao: Little do you know, Cherie and I love the LWTL as well. It's a nice boat ride with lots of vegetables, fishes, and underwater creatures. You get to look at neat stuff outside the boat too.:rolleyes1

I think you forgot to mention that at our breakfast at Kona, you stated that you are good friends with someone when you share their food with them. Again, More fun. Loved It!!!

It was like our own version of Where's Waldo?

Yeah, I thought it was me, but I did a quick sniff check around my immediate area and it was not me. So, I just asked the person closest to me.

Living with the Land is still a fave, but I miss having live people narrate.

I love sharing food...;)

I think my ribs hurt that evening from laughing so bad. We decided that there should be a "What Not To Wear - Disney Edition". Clinton and Stacey would have to be taken out of Epcot in ambulances. The perfect place to see what not to wear is just outside EWoE. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I can't wait to post more of the pix!:thumbsup2

Hey Jordan... What happened to our sleeping pic at TT?

my redneck didn't come out.:scared1:

djay said:
Crazy? yes. Get away? No. Although the more we stayed together, the more I thought the Disney Police would kick us out or have us arrested, or something. I think some of the park guests thought we were part of the park entertainment...:lmao::lmao:

We were our own entertainment that's for sure.

Oh, I do remember that story... something about drinking ALOT with strangers, lounging on a chair with a girl he didn't know, and the :smokin: appropriate title, and so nice of you to be his campaign manager. I seem to remember at least one of the girls being a little

That poor girl - she'll never live it down! :rotfl2:

ok...TMI on the number one and paper but you CAN pull off the robot.

I often cross the line...

Me too...but the end part outside is still my favorite ride, period. And it's only a minuscule part of the ride!

There are 3 parts of rides that I love....the backwards part of Everest, the end of TT and the takeoff on RnRC...I love ALL of ToT.

EandE said:
It happened. His name is Evan.

All I'm gonna say...OUCH.

EandE said:
crazier in real life huh? :thumbsup2

I'm worried I'm more boring and you'll all be dissapointed!

You just have to be you...
