So Calvin is killed!:confused3:sad2:
Sam is turning into a killer? NO WAY!:sad2:
Jesus is a Warlock/Witch?
And Bill is fighting the Queen.:sad2:

Nothing from the books anymore.

I have had it. Time for me to stop watching this mish mash.

I've finally accepted it won't be like the books and I've stopped comparing it. Besides how you can stop watching it when this is in every episode

I thought that was the loooooooooongest, slowest season finale ever. I kept looking at the clocking thinking 3 hours went by.

The Hot Shot stuff was so dull.

We know Sam didn't kill his brother. Maybe nicked him in the shoulder.

I was surprised that Pam was able to save Eric.

It was nice to see Godric again.

That baby doll in the house was ominous & creepy. I'm glad Hoyt & Jessica are together.

Sookie's house has seen better days. :sad2:

Tara is the only one I wonder whether she will come back next season. They seemed to wrap up her story line. Now that Sookie has her new fairy friends, she doesn't need Tara around anymore really. They'd have to create some tangent storyline for her, like "Hot Shot" was for Jason, just to give her something to do next season. Like Jason, she's too established as an actress & character on this show to just have her in as a background character now.

Its far too different and left up in the air from the books this season *sigh*
All I can say is thank god they are for sure doing season 4 with naked running in the woods bewitched or id Screammmmmmmmmm

Well time for me to weigh in....

- My very first thought as the credits flashed....THATS IT!?!?!?! Seriously..kinda lackluster...

- Sookie was in rare form...I enjoyed her in the beginning of the episode...and the end with her banishing Bill...Yup...thats my Sookie..

- Sam...:scared1:...THAT is not my Sam..

- Eric was fun to watch, but not the Godric thing..that was dumb..

- Bill finally got what was coming...now Sookie can move on to the superior vampire...

- Alcide...need more of him..hope he is back next season..

Overall, I wasnt over thrilled with the episode...or the season...The ending was stupid..but I will continue to watch

OK I am going to put in my two sense..I am going to miss Sookie/Bill, but then again they replace them with Hoyt/Jessica...I love Tara's hair shorter, and DF thinks she is leaving the show..I too think Sam would not kill his brother just shot him to scare him to get his money...I can't wait until next season, I hate the long wait we have to endure...

I'm ok with the ending last night.

It was a little boring but at least it wrapped up a lot of things.

I didn't think it was the best finale ever. Kind of ho hum. Especially Jason's storyline-- dumb!

Did anyone catch what that thing was on the floor in the last Jessica/Hoyt scene (in their new house)? The camera panned out like it was something ominous, but I couldn't figure it out.

Oh, thanks! Interesting.

Doesn't Summer have an obsession with dolls? Wonder if it has something to do with her, somehow.

My initial thought about the doll was that it was a voodoo doll, ala the witchcraft that was in Jesus and Lafayette's v-dream. I thought it would bring the two storylines together.

However, you bring up a good point about Summer and her dolls. Hmm...

Overall, I agree with you, it was a boring finale. The only good thing about it was cement-encrusted Eric. Talk about making yummy even yummier!

It makes sense that Pam would save Eric since it was at night that he was buried and she could sense what was happening to Eric and where he was.

The only way they could tie Tara back to the books to continue a storyline is to have the vampire lawyer (I can't remember his name) come to see her with an inheritance from Franklin so she could open her dress shop. That would fit with her rebirth theme that started last night.

I guess they made Calvin so unlikable that it really doesn't matter that he was killed last night.

I hope next season serves us up a whole lotta Sookie and Eric!

Sigh. So Sookie has now gone off to fairyland with Claudine and I'm guessing that was Claude standing behind her? WTH?

I enjoyed watching Sookie march outside to save Eric and kicking the King of Mississippi across the parking lot. :rotfl: I also enjoyed watching her bargain with him and putting Talbot down the garbage disposal. I guess the fact that Russell has only been encased in concrete means that he'll be coming back for revenge next season.

I really thought that they were going to end the season with Bill being all noble again so I was quite happy to see Eric show up to finally tell Sookie the truth.

I don't know--I'm still not crazy about this series and it bums me out because I really, really want to love it.

In related vampire news, I'm watching season 1 of The Vampire Diaries and I love it. Damon (or Boone as he'll always be known to me) is fabulous.

OK the first thing I have to say is that I LOVE Tara's haircut! It looks so cute!

Sookie really needs to stay her butt home and clean up. It's been a whole season now since she's been back from Dallas and since Maryann bit the dust (which I realize is probably only a couple of weeks), and she really needs to get the vines off her walls.

As it was ending and Sookie was holding hands with Claudine, I was just starting to say "This better not be how they end the episode..." and all I got out was "This better not..." and it ended. So disappointing. :sad2: It's just not what I would have done, I guess.

I'm kind of starting to like Jason's storyline....It's making me wonder if this is how they tie in his show character to the storyline for him in the books (spoiler: meaning that I wonder if now he will actually get bitten and turn)

Other than that, it wasn't a terrible episode, and like many others I've just stopped comparing the show to the books. Sam character names, entirely different universe.

If that was Claude, he does not look at all like I pictured him (although neither does Claudine).

Goodbye Bill! You have been replaced! More Eric please!

Vampire Diaries is awesome!

I didnt like how they ended it either....oh well, I enjoyed the season overall. I also thought the doll was Summers. I loved the banter with russell and sookie in the bar. Eric only had silver handcuffs on, and was healed with blood unlike russell, so of course he could get out of wet concrete bill is dumb. The cheesiest line was when Bill was concreting Russell and said you are like a mad hatter( or something to that effect) i laughed so hard, hes a cheese ball. MORE ERIC PLEASE!!!!! I would have thought Sookie would have been more angry with bill when he said he got rid of him....

Oh, thanks! Interesting.

Doesn't Summer have an obsession with dolls? Wonder if it has something to do with her, somehow.

Good point. Looks like there is more to Summer than we know. Btw, was it my imagination or did Hoyt's mother walk out of the gun store without paying for the rifle?

So Calvin is killed!:confused3:sad2:

I'm not convinced he killed Tommy. They just want you to think he did.

That's how it seemed to me.

:thumbsup2 I found this so distracting and really out of character for book Sookie who is extremely house proud and cleans when she's upset.

I hate Sophie Ann (and Evan Rachel Wood) and hope she is killed next season.
.

Oh I love ERW! If Sophie Ann leaves, we won't have any funny/demented vamps left to entertain us. I was sad to see Franklin go- and I always loved the way Russell laughed at everything:rotfl2:

I didn't think it was the best finale ever. Kind of ho hum. Especially Jason's storyline-- dumb!
.

Ugh- all I thought of was, please, not another "Fellowship of the Sun kind of storyline" for Jason! I know I keep saying this- but I want the old Jason back.:guilty:

Jesus is a Warlock/Witch?
.

Calling a male Witch a Warlock is an insult. ;) Well, it is IRL  Not sure how Jesus feels about it.

Sookie's house has seen better days. :sad2:

Tara is the only one I wonder whether she will come back next season. .

I know! What is up with the mess!? Pay the Merry Maids to come in and clean for crying out loud!

I love Tara's new "do":thumbsup2

I thought the episode was very boring. Nothing had me "hanging on a cliff" that is for sure. Next summer seems like a lifetime away!
