I was kinda dissappointed with this episode, first I fell asleep 3 times during it..haha I rewatched this morning. I dont like the way Sam's character is heading & I hate jason's storyline I find it extremely boring. But I will still continue to watch.

I loved all the Bill/Sookie/Eric stuff, and I totally love the Jessica/Hoyt storyline, but I'm completely bored with both Tara and Jason.

I feel like there's too much going on right now, and they don't concentrate nearly enough on the Bill/Sookie/Eric storyline.

Enough with Arlene. Enough with Tara. And the Jason & Lafayette storylines are really bad (JMHO). I do really like Sam, but he's just starting to get on my nerves a bit.

Hopefully next season, we'll see some more focus on the main characters. And on Alcide's muscles.

I totally agree. It seems like very little time is being spent on the main characters in the books.

Having Godric show up irks me because I wish they would have done something with him. He was so interesting as a character.

Unimpressed with how they left Eric, Bill, and Sookie. I need some love heat there. Eric is just going to waste.

I haven't heard anything but the season literally just ended yesterday so it will probably be a couple weeks at least before they announce a release date for the DVDs.

There are a lot of places online where you can watch the season right now. I just watched all three seasons over the last couple of weeks. Check out Blinkx.com.

I haven't heard anything but the season literally just ended yesterday so it will probably be a couple weeks at least before they announce a release date for the DVDs.

The past two seasons, they released the DVD's right before the start of the NEXT season. It's part of their smart advertising to hype up for the next season. If you are waiting for Season 3, you probably have a long wait.

I haven't been on the boards in a while but I gotta say that I was not impressed with the Season 3 Finale. The extra character story lines are getting further and further out there, I am not liking the way they are portraying Sam, Jason and Tara. I love the show and the books and I can appreciate them both for what they are, but there are some aspects that are irking me. I don't expect that the show will be exactly like the book but some of the discrepancies are not making sense to me. I will still continue to watch though, lol!

We actually ordered HBO for a few months this year JUST for True Blood. For Seasons 1 and 2, we waited for dvd but a previous poster is right, it doesn't come out til June.

I figure, $15 extra per month for three months isn't much more than what I'd pay for the dvd set anyway. (We canceled HBO today!)

Yes, I said quite a few times that I am not a vampire genre person. I only watch because Bill glamoured me, and now because of Eric. Now, this vampire stuff seems to include every other "supernatural" creature, and as I said last week, I am less than enchanted.

According to what everyone said last week, it seems the supernatural genre throws everything in but the kitchen sink. . . No wait, if they decide to throw in the kitchen sink, I'm sure it would shape shift into something as well.

I bet HBO was very busy getting cancellation phone calls today.

I wonder how many times they said, "No you can't get a refund for the previous 3 months because the season finale sucked!"

When the creator/producer of the show has to come on after the end and practically beg everyone to come back next season, it doesn't bode well for the show. Seems like even Alan Ball knew the finale was less than spectacular.

Well Eric running naked starts next season as it started book four... woot!
