"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

- Tara...you were just lusting over Jason, now sleeping with Sam...I dont think the DIS will allow me to post what we call that..LOL..

- Lafayette/Jesus - UGH...NOT another V storyline...enough already..

Someone mentioned the were's. There are shifters, who can turn into ANYTHING, but have a preference, like Sam turning to a collie.

Then there are were's. They can be any animal. Were-panther, were-bat, were-fox, were-tiger etc etc. Then there are werewolves. They claim to be the only TRUE were. Weres can turn at anytime, but MUST turn at full moon

I said a couple weeks ago that Tara didn't have the hots for Jason. I know we were all laughing at Franklin being so psycho crazy & out there. But, when Tara showed up at that Rape Anonymous support group, the story line changed for her into something dark & serious. I was like, "Whoa! Didn't see that coming."

Rape victims usually do not get the "hots" right away, when recovering from rape. If anything, she is looking for comfort (and perhaps distraction,) from a warm, human body (after the horror of being with a cold, dead vampire.) She didn't pick up strangers in bars, she picked the two safest guys she knows: Jason & Sam.

Yes, the Lafayette/Jesus thing, I am disappointed in.

As for all these supernaturals just happening to be in this small town of Bon temps & Hotshot, or in the woods there, no offense, but I am beginning to prefer my Sci-fi over this Fantasy genre. At least, in Science fiction, the story lines have to make scientific sense. Like in Star Trek, they actually have to visit different planets to meet different aliens. They aren't all lumped together in one or two tiny towns.

Seems, in the fantasy world, the writer can just write anything, and people are expected to go along with it because it's "fantasy" and supernatural. :confused3

Are there elves & hobbits & sea serpents in this series, too?

Actually Sookie does ask herself several times in the book series if the supernatural doctor is a hobbit...:rotfl:
Nothing is safe. :)

I think I'm glad I haven't read the books because I'm enjoying the series as it is. My only problem is waiting for the next episode.

I know there are goblins....and demons....

You have to look at it this way...Vamps supposidly had been around us for centuries, but only recently made themselves known. So that means just because we dont think they exist, they dont? Sookie is still learning about the world of supes. Its a growing sub-culture she never knew existed

LOL I was just gonna comment about that! (and kudos to the WoW reference hehe)

In the books, there are all kinds of Supes that haven't shown up in the series:

goblin
demon
witch (technically human, but with powers)
elf
extraterrestrials (the King of Kentucky's bodyguards from the Rhodes vampire convention)
whatever Dr Ludwig is (hobbit? dwarf?)

and the fairies talk about their subspecies- brownies, angels, and sprites.

Sadly, WOW is on my thoughts WAY to much....In fact, I am rolling a worgen in the next expansion and his name is Alcide...spelled a but diff of course..

Now it sounds like you looking at the character select screen from World of Warcraft..LOL

LOL, like I mentioned in an earlier post, I was a D&D geek growing up :lmao:

I think Holly is a witch. The spell she did with Arlene was Wiccan. She mentioned the Goddess a few times too.

the extraterrestrials are britlingens and they are mercenaries from a different dimension opposed to a galaxy

oh and lets not forget the maenad

Good finale!

Not that big of a cliffhanger though.

I loved when Sookie saved Eric and then have him her blood.

I was all freaked out that the cliffhanger would be Eric in the cement.

I hate Sophie Ann (and Evan Rachel Wood) and hope she is killed next season.

I'm glad Eric outed Bill.

I didn't think it was the best finale ever. Kind of ho hum. Especially Jason's storyline-- dumb!

Did anyone catch what that thing was on the floor in the last Jessica/Hoyt scene (in their new house)? The camera panned out like it was something ominous, but I couldn't figure it out.

Ditto it was not very exciting for a season finale.

It was a babydoll....looked broken.

Oh, thanks! Interesting.

Doesn't Summer have an obsession with dolls? Wonder if it has something to do with her, somehow.
