"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

OMG, Bill and Lorena at the end. HOLY COW!

That folks, is the beginning of the end of Bill and Sookie. She will not stand for the betrayal. I'm sad for Bill.

On another note: who knew they still make ZIMA and that people still drink it. LOL!

Bill looks so much "warmer" this season. Less dull, grey makeup. I'm loving the new look.

I found the um end quite sickening ackkk I sat at my tv going eww eww eww. Though the development of Eric and Sookie's relationship is starting to happen...I love Sookie and Eric ever since Dead to the World. I don't know one of my favourite things in the books is when Eric has amnesia and is watching the Buffy the Vampire slayer tapes and laughing...I find that so amusing!

I found the lorena bill thing just... awkward to watch ack! I watched with my grandmother and well having to explain it to her was beyond awkward!!!! Actually Ivette and Pam bothered her more (whereas I found it amusing as in the books Pam is one of my favourites)

Im not digging the Jason Cop thing... I dunno it just doesn't need to be there I guess?

Did anyone else think it was odd when Sam showed up at his family's house and the dad was sitting there in his undies with the brother tommy? And then the bar scene when he was giving Tommy the liquor shots? I feel like that is going somewhere. Not sure since it isn't in the books

I noticed HBO took an extra long time to show the ratings before the show this week. I guess that's so people can't later say they weren't warned. Still, Bill & Lorena were a shocker.

Why didn't Bill feel Sookie when she screamed?

Poor Gran's house. That place has seen more blood than a professional butcher. :scared1:

I enjoyed the episode. However, I'm not thrilled that they seem to be making Bill's abandonment of Sookie seem like he's being noble--leaving her alone in the same way he left his wife alone.

I did love Eric and Lafayette in the car. :lmao: And, we now know that vampires don't need an invitation to enter another vampire's home.

Alcide was pretty much how I'd pictured him from the book. I also really like the way they're portraying Russell and Talbot.

Yep, they answered our question.:thumbsup2

I am thinking we are going to find out that Bill is not such a great guy.

Anyway onto to Eric and Sookie. Yowsa.:woohoo:

I'm liking this season *so* much.

I think they are starting to blur the lines between the saintly Bill and the dastardly Erik -- they aren't that far apart. ;-)

I appreciated the "back story" with Bill's family.

And the scene at the end -- do vampires not wear underwear??? :rotfl2:

Oh, for heaven's sake, THANK YOU!!!! I've been trying to figure out where I "knew" that actor from for a whole week now! :lmao:

You're welcome> I am that annoying person who has to yell out what show someone is from when I see them :rotfl2:

And, we now know that vampires don't need an invitation to enter another vampire's home.

.

:lmao: MY DH yelled out- "HEY! THAT'S not fair!!!!!"

Why bother asking when you can just glamour your way in? :confused3 :guilty:

They take far too many liberties with the plot lines of the books. I do not care for the whole 'noble Bill' crap.

So far, I am enjoying this season more than last. OMG! The Bill/Lorena scene was painful to watch!

I had blocked that Bill and Lorena scene from my memory but a friend just came into my office and reminded me. OMG!

Well that was a weird ending to this weeks show. And we have to wait two weeks for the next one!

As for Bill being noble. I have a feeling Alan Ball and the writers will have a twist to this. It is just too hokey him doing all this for love and being so self serving. Well see!

That Alcide is a good looking guy. Just like how I pictured him from the books.

And I wonder what's going to happen to Franklin Mott's storyline. It will be very interesting to see who he is working for!

The scene with Pam was hilarious. Lay back and think of Estonia! :lmao: I had to explain that to my DH.

That Bill/Lorena thing was so unnecessary! Holy crap, it was just badly done and stupid. I'm not squeamish about blood, gore, and sex, but it was just stupid.

Alcide, YUM.

I thought the scene was necessary. Bill tries so hard to NOT be vampirish that they had to show that he still has vampire tendencies.

And, speaking of vampire tendencies, would that my DH was a vampire... to be flipped like Tara was... WOW!!!

I like the casting of Alcide and I wish that Yul Brynner was still alive and 30 yo so he could play Quinn. I just think that Quinn would have the same presence as the King of Siam.

I loved the way the test paper looked for Jason. Very Water for Elephants and you'll know what I mean if you read that book.

Sam's storyline is annoying. He opened a can of worms that is going to take a long time to close especially since the bumpkins are impressed with his bar and his brother has stolen his money.

How can Tara invite Franklin into Sookie's house when she doesn't own it?

I caught that as well. And was it my imagination, or did the dad have his arm on his son's thigh? Yes, I do believe they're going to take that in a disturbing direction, but we'll see I guess :confused3

I agree with the ending, I sat there with my mouth wide open in disbelief. Why did he do that if he hates Lorena so much? I am confused...

I hope they don't make it seem like he is saintly. His entire intent was to seek Sookie and use her gift.

I am so ready for the Eric and Sookie scenes, especially the shower scene from book 4.

Yep, they answered our question.:thumbsup2

:rotfl:--I guess we weren't the only people wondering.

I am thinking we are going to find out that Bill is not such a great guy.

I hope so on both counts!

You're welcome> I am that annoying person who has to yell out what show someone is from when I see them :rotfl2:

You'll need to come watch tv with DH and I all the time. It will take days for us to come up with where we've seen the actor before. I saw Pam in an old episode of Bones and it took me 3 days to place her. :lmao:

:lmao: MY DH yelled out- "HEY! THAT'S not fair!!!!!"

So what did Franklin say his gift was during sex with Tara? I'm wondering if that was somehow connected with how he got the invitation.

They take far too many liberties with the plot lines of the books. I do not care for the whole 'noble Bill' crap.

I totally agree with you. They also need to give Eric his long hair back because Eric with short hair is just wrong to me and I can't get past it. ;)

How can Tara invite Franklin into Sookie's house when she doesn't own it?

I think the human just has to live there not own it. For example, Jessica's little sister was able to invite Bill in.

It was not really sex-sex for Bill- I believe that was his way of taking his hatred out on her. Lorena on the other hand, seemed to like it:laughing:

I love this series, but like any soap opera I like some characters and storylines more than others. The first season I HATED anything Jason related. Of course, season two brought the dreaded Maryann storyline. This season it's Sam.

I have to say that I'm enjoying this season the most. I LOVE Lafayette. I enjoy Jessica, Eric, Pam, etc. I agree with a PP, the secondary characters really outshine any Sookie/Bill story.

So what did Franklin say his gift was during sex with Tara? I'm wondering if that was somehow connected with how he got the invitation.

By the way Franklin made Tara's eyelashes flutter like a hummingbird during sex- I can only guess one thing:lmao:

No- really, I am not sure. I did not catch him mentioning a "gift" :confused3
