I'm at the airport, waiting to board my flight! We're coming from the West Coast, and won't get in until the afternoon, so no parks for us today, but we plan on hitting Downtown Disney for food tonight. Earl of Sandwich, here I come!

Sounds great. Yes our west coast flts take the whole day.


The other 2 groups in our party are freezing in Michigan right now so they are counting down our days.

"arctic blast" cancelled our flight today and first available is Thursday.
Luckily the Dolphin was able to accommodate us, so we are extending to next Saturday.

Had to cancel Wishes Desserts Party.

At least it should be warmer when we do arrive!

We will be there in 16 days! Im getting so excited I can't stand it! I'm even more pumped because last night I discovered that Sofia and doc will make their debut on the day we have our H&V reservation. I couldn't believe my luck! DD is going to be beyond excited. Well have a great day everyone. I knew this group would be the one to share my excitement with!!

That's great news! We arrive the day after you do. Where did you read this? Do you know who is going away to make room for Sophia and Doc?

I just cancelled a reservation for 9 people at California Grill on Saturday, January 11 @ 5:25 pm.

We just booked our FIRST family trip to WDW! You can add us to the list. We will be there Jan 28-Feb. 2 at the Art of Animation. Jan. 30th is also my daughters 6th birthday. We do not plan on telling the kids. The suspense is KILLING me! She has been making comments here recently that she wants to go to WDW for her birthday. We also have a 2 year old boy who will be going. My husband is the only that has ever been so it will be a very memorable vacation for all of us.

I wonder what the crowd levels will be like the 23-26? I was at WDW the exact same weekend last year and I thought they were good. Not too crowded. Hoping it will be the same this year.

Well I leave for Disney in 17 days and just had one of our pipes burst and have water running through three floors. I'm trying to close my eyes and pretend I'm already there but the sound of this darn water dripping is bringing me back to reality!

Ugh! We had this happen the day before our last trip! I just happened to open the door to the water heater closet & there it was spraying! Just think of it like I did, at least your not coming home from vacation to a house full of water! Hope you don't have too much damage. Are you in a freezing cold area too? Our schools have been cancelled the last 2 days & we're on a 2 hr delay tomorrow. I am hoping for some warmer weather in Florida!!

I'm in Cleveland, Ohio now and we've had the same deal with school cancellations and everything!!! I too am wishing for warmer weather in Florida next week when we go! I want to be able to go swimming.

I'm trying not to freak out about it. I am in MI and we were -40 with wind chill the last two days. Tomorrow will be our third day of school being closed. Luckily I get to go to work tommorrow and my husband gets to deal with it.

I don't know if you have a car but I know that just about every convenience/grocery store around Disney has post cards and key chains and all that touristy stuff that is really hard to find in the actual parks.

Thanx, I don't but I was able to find decent looking pins... I'm not a huge souviner person but I like something small that says I was there that's unique to each park and not just generic

We leave Thursday morning. I can't wait! DH packed himself tonight so he won't be stressing about his marathon gear and I think I have all the kids clothes laid out by day ready to put in a suitcase (or two). I've forgotten how to dress for 80High-60lows. I'm so torn in what to take for them. I managed to do mostly shorts and tees for the day time and long sleeves with pants for the evenings if it gets cool but to do that I scrounged up every last pair of shorts that fit them. They may either be sweating or we may be shopping! Oh well, we'll be there and that's all that matters .

I started the ADR process way too late but this week managed to score last minute reservations at Le Cellier for the 12 and 'Ohana for dinner on the 15th!!! I have all our other ADRs made just stalking a couple to change times if possible. Now I just have to pack my bag.

Good luck to anyone running this weekend. I'll be walking the majority of the half so wave as you speed by me .

I'm ready to get out of the cold as well! I share your excitement as I am not telling my DD until the morning of our trip. DH knows but does not share the same level of excitement which is why I am so happy to share my excitement here! We leave in 14 days as well!!!!!

We are at 17 days.

We surprised DD last time and I want to do it again this time since it will be her 1st plane ride. My vision was to just wake her up and tell her we were going on an adventure.... but a couple of nights ago she was going on and on and on about a birthday party and when can we go buy invitations, etc.

So we had to tell her that we have a big big surprise for her on her birthday. She doesnt know what it is (even though DH said it was a trip somewhere. I dont think she picked up on it) but she knows it is something big.

So at least I can somewhat surprise her, though I am not sure DH can last.

I CAN'T WAIT! I am working on her EPCOT passport this weekend and going to search for a good pen to go with it.
