Spring Direct Incentives 2/9-4/27

I think my calculations are off again at 200 and 250 points because I only took $3000 off for magical beginnings please no one listen to me im sorry I tried

I cant get over this.

250 points of SSR is $42,500 vs 200 points of VDH is $41,400. Can get 50 more direct points SSR for $1100 more
I hear you. I am really enticed myself. I just texted my wife about changing some of our spring break trip to try SSR out and give it a real "test drive."

But, the reason for the points really matters. Want to do VDH at the holidays or for special events? Probably not happening with SSR points.

And the length of contract also matters too.

I fixed the 200 point one and that one is still the same price as old vs new incentive lol! Ok now I fixed them all 🤣🤣 its right for sure i promise 🤣🤣

I also told my guide that since he's writing up a new contract to waive the title insurance too, because I forgot to mention that the first time. He didn't even know that could be waived so he has to check on it. I assured him that many people have waived it before on direct contracts.

$6,750 dollar difference on 250 points vdh vs ssr with magical beginnings. Only $337 a year to have vdh for an extra 20 years!!!!!!!

We know more than them I may do that too

I think it’s fine if the more erratic owners want to own at SSR instead of VDH….

I don't know...I think all the erratic, book at the last minute people should own at VDH and VGC with me. Then it's less competition for the good rooms at the 11-month mark because they won't be looking to book at that time. 😁

@ClaraOswald Please let us know when the kickback checks come in from everyone you have just saved some extra $$ like @WishfulVibes & @juliebee

Great Find!! :)
I'll be taking 10% of whatever you guys save. 🤣

I want 200 points and this sucks. Its exactly the same at 200 and worse at 250. I want to do the numbers for poly next unless anyone wants to make my life easier and show me. I wasnt convinced to add at 200 points with the prior incentives and I thought these would be better with visa discount ugh. Calculating ssr again lol its not going to be easy to convince my wife to go that route she said just buy the 200 at vdh even if its 10k more it has more years i dont think shes going to want to budge

I mean...can one even compare VDH and SSR though?? I mean, obviously SSR is a good choice for "sleep around points" but that's about it, I imagine.

I honestly don't know how you'd even go about switching now. So if you do, I'll be curious to see how that works.

How much does that save?

If I can use the $1000 anniversary discount and the $1000 Visa one, I think I'd save $180 by switching to the new incentives...as long as the D23 still works as well. $180 isn't a lot but every dollar counts. My guide (well, the guide I purchased from) is out until tomorrow so I'll wait and see what he says. I need to call tomorrow anyway to get the remainder of my payments switched to the new Visa to get extra rewards.

I dropped him an email so hopefully he'll see it before I call and can look into it for me.
