If anyone else wants to purchase the event party that wasn't listed when registering for races, I found it by going back into runDisney and was able to just click the button to purchase there.

Mine is dropping very suddenly, I know there's been some speculation as to whether exiting the queue has any impact on wait times but seems like it might?

So at least the different browsers have different times, just wild that they were all trash pulls. Have one at 8, 15, 20, 21, 21, 22, 25 left at the 105 minute mark

My OG browser just jumped to 17 minutes, fwiw. I had closed the other one and when I went back to it, it took me to the main rD page. I went to W&D weekend and the only reg link active is the party. I clicked and went right in.

RD tends to have runners who do multiple events every year. Part of me wonders if the recent media blitz during MW is an attempt by RD to push out these people and bring in first timers who are more likely to splurge on rooms and merch. Why advertise something that sells out already? We already know that WDW hates AP holders because they spend less than one-time visitors. I’ve been doing WD since 2011, and this is the first time I’ve been shut out of everything.

As an AP holder I only drop crazy $$$$$$ during race weekends so it’s there loss

Safari on IOS. I *hate* registering on my iPad or iPhone and of course the iPad got in first (with no option to move it to a difference computer unlike last time).

Finally got the last one to finish the queue at 12:00. What was odd was that I had logged in before the queue phase of everything, yet it prompted me to re-enter the password when I finally got into the next screen on each browser.

Well… I’m glad I wasn’t super attached to running, because I never got through and eventually closed the one window I had open to get to an appointment. I definitely feel like this is an attempt to weed out rD “regulars” who do a lot of races, but aren’t influencers. Is it at all possible the coding can identify IP addresses and sort of throttle ones that have been used in the past a lot?

I’m trying to take it with grace and accept that my kind (frequent runners, low spenders) just aren’t desirable anymore… but I’m not feeling very gracious about it TBH. I feel like we need a better group plan for MW…

DH and I got in the challenge and 5k. He had the desktop and his phone, and I had my laptop, phone, and a Fire tablet. My Fire tablet with the “Silk” browser got in. (The worst for registration.) Everything else was “more than an hour.” Luckily, after I registered, I reopened rD in a different window (same device), logged out and back in as DH, and he was able to register using his own account.

We didn’t want me to register him in my account and have to do the “transfer to his account and lose the registration, have no waiver to sign” problem. So thankful it worked because otherwise he might have missed out and I didn’t really want to get up three mornings at two o’clock while he slept in!

I got in through both Firefox and Edge but ended up using Firefox to actually register.
