I'm not familiar with the other actor mentioned--I don't see much stage stuff.
I laughed my way through this episode (at least the first half). Summer Lovin' was great... even having Sam in the leather jacket and Santana playing "Rizzo", including kicking the girls off the bench. Also using the mixture of both at the end of the song like it was in the movie.
Becky's voice over was hilarious. I agree with PP who said Sue was "better" in this episode. I do think it was out of character for what she's portrayed in the past, but I liked this "Sue" better.
A few things I didn't understand though... this ep was set in January 2012 (Cooter & Bieste eloped on Christmas, Sue mentions it being 2012). Would Mercedes & Sam still be talking about a summer fling?
Also, didn't Sam play on the football team? Wouldn't he have a letter jacket from that?
My dd thought Sam might have sold his letter jacket last year, when he sold all his other stuff, when his dad lost his job. I agree that they are still talking about the summer fling, since he just came back right before christmas.

If you are old enough to remember the show Trapper John MD, thats the show I remember him from! Wow, I feel old!
I, too, loved Becky's "inner Queen" ~ darling. My favorite were Sue & Coach Bieste in their bridesmaids dresses...sweet! Of course, that was the beginning...I enjoyed the first half more than the second.

The hats from the Royal Wedding were the best![]()

i just love Glee.........
any songs they did tonight was good for me.
i know they shorten most of the songs but it still was fine.
Glee though!Yeah...I think I was just expecting some of his better known/more upbeat type of songs. I really enjoyed a few of them... but some I felt were just eh. IGlee though!
I just loved this episode, probably one of my favorites. I loved the take on some of MJ's songs, especially Smooth Criminal with the dueling cellos and Black or White with them copying the morphing at the end. There was one song I was no familiar with - Scream. Was that from the concert MJ was preparing for before he died?
And Burt Hummel? When I grew up, my father models were Steven Douglas, Jim Anderson, Ward Cleaver, Ben Cartwright, Ozzie Nelson. Now I just hope that I was as good a father as Burth Hummel is.
