Ivy ~ This week wasn't one of their best but good nonetheless.

Jackson ran against Taylor as "Town Selectman" and won...
He and Sookie were really good this week. Rory and Dean. What can I say - it needs to be over. They look miserable trying to pull this off. Lane was great. She is so funny. She likes her bandmate and finally at the end told him so in a Mrs. Kim way. "I like you. I like you more than a friend".

Not too much on the Luke and Lorelai front this week except we all got to see a disheveled Luke answer the door to find Lorelai and we all realize he was sleeping...he is so cute.

Next week should be good as Rory and Dean go with Luke and Lorelai on a double date.

Hope that catches you up and that I didn't forget anything. Girls, help me out if I did.

Hi Ginny,
When Jackson was making his acceptance speech as the new first selectman he made the comment that he and Sookie were trying to have another baby and that the doctor had him on a strict schedule . That is why I think people are pretty sure Sookie will be pregnant soon.

I just love that they are bringing in more of Lane again. She is a fun character and I hope she gets a romance going with her bandmate . What ever happened to her other boyfriend (Dave?) ? I know he went off to college but I wasn't sure if they broke up then or if they were doing a long distance dating thing?

The actor who played Dave - Adam Brody - is on The O.C. Another GREAT show I can't wait to start up again!

Okay...did anyone else get a big kick out of the whole "Pippi Longstocking" routine!! It was definitely a laugh-out-loud moment for me! The bop-it saga was another! This show is so classically me!

How come nothing with Sookie this week, I wonder??

And...oh, man! Why can't Rory get a good guy!? Dean is so...ugh.

Great episonde this week! Even though Luke was kinda being a jerk, I thought it was sweet because his heart was in the right place.

Maybe it was me, but I kinda softened toward Dean this ep, especially when he was explaining JoJo's to Luke. He has made some HUGE mistakes, but he is only 19.

One thing I didn't understand: Luke made a comment to Lorelai last night about how Dean had "already broken her (Rory's) heart once", and so how can she trust him? I was like, what? Rory left him for Jess...and Dean, if I recall correctly, was the one who was heartbroken. Yes, I know Dean's the one who technically did the leaving at the dance, but he knew Rory's heart was long gone at that point. Any other opinions on that?

I agree...Rory dumped Dean the first time, not the other way around. I really didn't get Luke's comment at all.

As a side note, I'm really sick of Dean! He has made some huge mistakes, and he IS a punk as Luke said. Rory can do better.

This episode was hilarious, by the way. Who is Kirk's girlfriend? DH thought that it was so funny that they kept getting it on in the back of the "theater".

Chrissy - isn't Kirk's girlfriend the one that in the season finale got Kirk running naked out of the Inn. Gosh, that was so funny. Unfortunately, I do not know her name.

The whole Pippi thing had me cracking up. Dean has GOT TO GO. I just don't like how they are portraying him. They seems like it's a chore to play out this story line.

I loved the Pippi Longstocking part.

DD also corrected me that Rory broke Dean's heart, not the other way around.

I think Rory can do better than Dean but you have to admit that he is cute.

The Bop-it was hysterical.

I love this show.

Dean should only be around another few weeks. He only signed on for 10 episodes this season. Next week, it looks like the Yale guy is back in the picture. Also, Kirk's girlfriends name is Lulu.

Kirk had a night-terror that caused him to run out of the Inn naked I must have missed an episode somewhere in there, because his girlfriend is a surprize to me. It's good to see that they found him a match, LOL!

Does anyone else wonder what happened to Kirk's cat Kirk? Now THAT was a funny episode

The night terror was because he was afraid to get naked in front of her or about them having sex or both. I can't quite remember but I think it was because she was going to see him naked.

I don't remember the episode with his cat but I am watching the reruns on ABC Family and boy oh boy where there ever some good ones.

Okay, one other thing that is bothering me. I thought, and I really could be wrong, that Doose, as in Doose's Market, was pronounced like "goose". Last night, and last week, I heard several people say it like "goosey". Did they change this, or have I just been mishearing the last 4 years??

They have always pronounced it "Dough-sies". I actually commented about the spelling Doose's because I would never have pronounced it that way. But, this is Stars Hollow we are talking about....

Bumping this up for those who watched last night. I have two things to say:

One, I do not like this new punk. He's kind of a major jerk.

Two, I think Doyle is adorable. I have no idea why, but I do.

I don't know why but I had a dream about Rory jumping off that platform in her ballgown. It was really wierd. Do you think that you can jump off a platform with just an umbrella.

I kindof like the story line with the jerk. For one thing it's not boring like the Rory and Dean thing. Gotta love Paris though.

nope.
Kirk and Lulu had done all that "stuff" together...but never "spent the night" with each other..just sleeping next to each other...because Kirk had (has?) Night Terrors. (everynight apparently)
