The New Misfit Island Resort, make your reservation today!

Oh No, I hate that place. Haven't lived there for over a decade.

Anyway goodnight, I'm tired.

Very funny.......... I happen to love riding the rails.... so not nice to make a disparaging comment about Amtrak. And.... I will be more than happy to travel by plane, when the TSA can no longer see way too much of ones body with their new equipment. By the way, it did not take 14 hours via Amtrak, maybe close, but still, not 14 hours. And at least I did not burn up miles and miles of gasoline along with all of the chemicals that go along with said gasoline. Thank you....

Nothing wrong with taking the train, I would do it too if it was more convinient. It just for me the extra segment makes the cost higher because I would need to take it from SLC (that's a dilemma in itself since it's not near me) and the time is much longer than driving. Still something I would like to do but it will take about 6 travel days, 3 there and 3 back, which makes for a long trip.

Sadly I haven't ridden in over a week. I've been at work (care giver for my grandfather), then house sitting, now I'm back at work.

Is it possible to bike commute?

I did a partial commute by bike for one job. I left a bike at a friends house, drove there got my bike from under the deck and took it across town. It was nice, but saved no time. And if it was slightly warm I was swetting like crazy in my business casual shirts when I got into my office. And if it was raining when I was leaving, not good but I took my medicine and got wet.

I would be if I hadn't been house sitting and have a weeks worth of clothes with me.

I use to bike commute to my last job (caregiver for a teenager with autism). His family was awesome and made me feel like part of the family so I would take a shower when I got to work. But it was raining or once it was too hot I was back to driving in my truck.

Anyone have something fun planned for the weekend?

Just the usual drunkenness and wild debauchery! And how about yourself?

I'm at work until Sunday at 9am, but then I think I'm going to sit on my couch and watch football while drinking a few beers.

It's the season to watch football. And get in a bike ride if the day is nice again. But I heard about a storm in SF and wonder if I'll see it in a day or two.

I was only able to catch the Notre Dame v. Michigan game. Great game, but I'm bummed Michigan won.

I'm off at 9am tomorrow, plan to catch a few NFL games, and if the weather is nice ride my bike tomorrow night.

I watched college games upto the evening and then nearly forgot they were on. Late out night I was watching a rerun of the game. Not a huge Irish fan but I don't mind seeing any team in Michigan loose a football game.

What storm in SF? Is it bad?

Probably not, but saw on FB an old friend's remark on lots of lightning. Which isn't too common there.

Saw the Office just a bit ago when Jim talks about riding his bike to work.

"Saves gas money, keeps me in shape, helps the enviroment, and now I know it makes me really sweaty for work."

Yup.

How strange is that strange cloud? Is it wicked strange? like strange days? Or like people that are strange? Enquiring minds would like to know.. :)
