I went to the SR line at Remy and score it wasn’t very long! Pro tip if you walk in and see a line not very far into the queue don’t stay, it will be quite long. If you don’t see anyone until just past Gusteau do it! It will be a short wait.

Good tip. I learned this the hard way. Now I walk in a couple steps and if I see people I don't bother waiting.

I rode LwtL and Soarin. Love both of these rides and I think today was when a random man got in the LwtL boat with me, just weird.

I loved it. One thing about IG entrance is you can miss the beautiful front entrance of Epcot.

True! We stay mostly at BCV now and I feel like we hardly ever see the very front of EPCOT anymore.

I had the burger with an onion jam on it, this was delicious, I could only eat half

Our waiter was harried and I asked for ketchup like three times and he finally brought it out at the end of the meal. My fries were cold at that point and only lukewarm when they arrived.

A little disappointed in my beloved Bar Riva mainly because of our service.

I did love the burger and loved meeting up with Stacy so a definite win!

I took the bread pudding back to my room and it was delicious. I loved it! I think this one might be my all time favorite. It is hard not to love a bread pudding and Disney does it well.

My favorite kind of storm. I have some wonderful memories of watching Disney storms from the resort porches and windows.

I don’t mind the storms as long as I am not running around in it! I couldn’t believe how flooded the pathways were after the storm

Couldn't agree more. Love taking the boats. So relaxing in all the Disney craziness.

It is one of the reasons I like staying in the Epcot resort area. I love the boat transportation.

I had the best time meeting you in person and having dinner! You know, I forgot that you had to ask for ketchup that many times. It was busy but come on. If you are a server at Disney, you have to know it's going to be busy and figure out your stuff!!!

I was really glad it worked out for us to meet up and spend some time together! Yeah Bar Riva is a favorite place of mine but service was definitely lack luster this evening. I enjoyed visiting with you and hope we can see each other again at our favorite vacation destination!

And that picture - I still look like a drowned rat. I'm surprised you didn't just nope right out as I was walking toward you!

You had a great afternoon at Epcot. I've only done single rider for Remy once but I think I will make it a priority at Thanksgiving.

It was a wonderful afternoon at Epcot and yes SR is the way to go on Remy if it isn’t too long of a line! I’m glad it worked out for you to go at Thanksgiving time!

We never made it to this lounge. I would have liked to get some freebies.

It was my first time in the lounge and it was a nice little retreat with some freebies and fun photo ops

We used to stay almost exclusively at YC or BC. We seldom made it to the front of Epcot. There was no reason to go there.

Same I only wanted to see the Moana topiary otherwise we really don’t need to go up there unless we take the monorail from there!

Does the Lyft drop you off at the building you are staying in?

Yes, it is awesome, what a difference at these big resorts now!

The thunderstorms have a way of ruining the plans. We never made it to Epcot for our Remi fp because of them.

I agree! I have been to Disney enough now that I don’t need to be out in monsoon type of weather!

Glad you got to see the Jaws display, it was really good, we did watch it on the anniversary, well you have to really!!

I think you should give Disney another chance, an adult trip is really fun!
The Jaws displays and merchandise were really fun to check out at Universal. It was a really fun day on my own. It wasn’t really crowded and a nice time! The only bummer was not getting the Jaws magnet haha
This bread pudding was delicious but I do like a good bread pudding! In the Germany Pavilion, there is a delicious pretzel bread pudding. I honestly think that one is my favorite!

Banana Cabana Bread pudding so I guess it isn’t my favorite but it was delicious. It was a little heavy on the pineapple but still I wouldn’t turn it down no way! It was very similar to the Ohana bread pudding. I have to say the cheapest one is the one from Germany and my favorite!

Hello There Everyone!

Today was Memorial Day 5/26 and my last day at Walt Disney World.

My plans included one last day at Epcot. My flight was leaving at 6:15 so I had plenty of time to enjoy Epcot.

I took my time in the morning and packed up my room. I had some more of the bread pudding for breakfast. It still tasted pretty good. I called bell service to pick up my luggage for the day. I had some left over water and asked the bell service if they would like it and he said yes. So remember when leaving, bell service could use your leftover water or snacks as could Mousekeeping.

I headed to the Skyliner and joined a nice single lady celebrating her Birthday. She loves traveling solo to Disney. We had a lovely ride to Epcot. I did have FP$$ for Frozen, LwtL, and SE. I checked the SR line at Remy and it looked like it wasn’t too long so I hopped in. I got one more ride on “the rat”. I took my time strolling around WS. My plan was to work my way to Germany I wanted to try the potato pancake and berry strudel. I was again trying items I have not had before.

I got to Germany and ordered the potato pancake with ham and onion. It also had a very good sauce on it.

I give it two thumbs up

The dessert was the warm cheese strudel with Berry compote. I really liked this as well and would give it two thumbs up. (not as good as the pretzel bread pudding in Germany) but very enjoyable.


Once I finished my lunch, it was time for my Frozen FP$. This is when a random guy gets in the boat with me. I was a little shocked and not expecting that. The man was alone and he was really enjoying the ride so my irritation lessened some!

Let it go I did and sang along. I wish my picture would have shown up to show you all the awkwardness

I said hello to the troll in the shop before heading to Future World.

I had made a Soarin FP$ which was for right now and this worked well with my LwTL FP$. I actually was seated alone this time on LwTL so that was pleasant and I was in B2 for Soarin, yay

I made FP$ for Figment and Nemo for after my SE FP$.

I was having fun riding all the Epcot attractions with very little waiting.

I decided to try this Tropical Smoothie at the Land cart outside the butterfly exhibit. This was amazing and perfect for such a hot day. It was Dole Whip pineapple, mango, and banana. Another hit for the day.

I walked around enjoying the F&G Topiaries and all the beautiful flowers

I found a PP CM by the cool “backwards waterfall”. The CM was very nice and it is always fun to get a picture in an area I have not had one done before.



I was texting with Molly @Mollydolly334 and we planned to meet up in France before I was due to head out.

I went to Mexico on my leisurely journey to ride Gran Fiesta since it was closed in March for refurbishment,

I love this little boat ride. it is really relaxing!

I headed to Canada The United Kingdom
and back to France.

Molly and her husband Jake met up with me here.

It was wonderful to see Molly again. She was my roommate on the Epic trip and I really enjoy her company! She could be my extra Disney daughter The last time we saw each other was January 2020 right before the world shut down.

I got to meet Jake for the first time and what a nice young man! They are such a cute couple! Ahh to be young again!

We visited for a little while before they headed to Remy and I headed in to Le Halles to get more delicious bakery items to take home. I got the full baguette with butter, the apple crumble pastry, the beignet (filled with chocolate and hazelnut) and the Macaron with raspberry and lime cream. I got everything to go and hoped it all made it home to share with Joe.

I headed out to the Skyliner with all my treats.

I stopped at the Riviera to get my favorite almond cold brew and walked to the lobby area of the CBR.

I had scheduled a ride for 4:15pm. I finished my cold brew and picked up my luggage and headed to the airport.

I used curbside check in, cruised through security, and headed to the Delta lounge which is close to my gate. Delta always flies out of the gates in the 70s.

I had a few snacks, worked on organizing my pictures, and talking to Joe.

Soon it was time to get on the plane and head back to Minnesota. I had an uneventful flight. I snacked on my baguette during the flight.

I got home around midnight. My treats from Les Halles made it, with just slight damage, haha These desserts were so delicious even later the next day! We really enjoyed having those French pastries

This solo trip was wonderful. 5 nights was just the right amount of time by myself.

I recommend taking that trip if you really want to even if you need to go solo. It is very enjoyable and you can do what you want when you want!

Way more highlights on this trip than lowlights!
