I love WDW in December. Trying to head there again this year Dec 7-14.

Also have one in the making for October...trying to hit the F&W and Halloween Party all at the same time. (Free Dining too if Disney will release it again) Somewhere near FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13 sounds like fun...don't ya think?

Mel: I'm 37 too. How dare you remind me by posting those questions. You almost deserve a dancing bananaman...but I might get booted from da club, and as a new member I have to behave.

Wow, the wife of da preacher man! Welcome, welcome. DO keep your eyes peeled, I promise to come some week - I'll let you know. And no worries about Audrey - truth be told, I am hoping she doesn't discover boys for another 25 or 30 years. I think that's how long it will take for her father to become accustomed to the idea anyway!

So this Board is destroying my house - really! I had to catch up this evening, normally I do not DIS when home with the kids - I went into the living room to discover that my two little angels had pulled down the curtains. Really. Fortunately it was just the sheers on the little spring rods, so easy to replace, but how did I not notice that they were QUIET for more than 30 seconds? Oh, wait, they're quiet again! Nope, I hear the water running. WAIT, I HEAR THE WATER RUNNING!

no...it kills you but that's the point I guess!!

you can start off slow but I prefer the "cardiac arrest" workout to firm my flab faster...that way I only have to workout 6 wks of the year to stay in ok shape!!

no I'm kidding, I workout on a semi regular basis...

it is a ******* cardio/weight training video series and they do the firm signature move on a 14' box with 5 lb weights and let me tell ya
they don't call it the fanny lifter for nuttin!!!

I love step aerobics I am pathetic or what??

And I'm 35 - my pet rock was named Red. Guess what color he was. Brilliant. I am not, however, responsible for the fact that our Golden Retriever is named "Goldie" - that was ALL DH. I wanted Trixie.

And, in case anyone is concerned, the water was because my children like to be clean. Very clean. And they like to make sure the bathroom is also very clean. With lots of water. They were less successful than usual in getting me wipe down the entire bathroom tonight.

Marky, I'll fill you in on a secret. Ya ready? My dream was to go to school at FSU. Shocking, I know! I visited the campus when GA Southern played them around 15 years ago. Hey, you're old! You were probably in school then right?

My family went to the game and I just thought the campus was so awesome. I got chill bumps when Osceola came out. However, being that I'm middle-class, out-of-state-tuition costs kept me in GA, so there went that dream.

I actually didn't learn to like UF til I moved to G-ville. My first day at work someone mentioned Spurrier and I said "who"? They almost strung me up. They are some obnoxious fans!

Anybody else think Vettechick kinda looks like Julia Roberts?

OMG, you are actually not the first person to say that, although usually people hear that and are like, huh? I take it as a compliment as I think she's really cute. I wish I had that laugh of hers...it cracks me up. I'd also like her money. Wouldn't beat that with a stick.

Although I just DON'T know about the step aerobics thing, Melonmom. Heck, takes me long enough to get the moves down pat when my feet are flat on the floor.

I've been debating all day on whether or not I should post this, but here goes. I've got 2 glasses of wine under my belt, so I'm feeling brave.

I have been keeping up with this thread since Mel's TR got locked. It's a bit difficult, I must say!

I have not read or posted ALL weekend and it took me nearly all day at work to catch up! Needless to say, I have a bit of work to do tomorrow. But I AM caught up. I've read all of LALA anas SNAP's reports so far, and I'm going to read Mark's latest report addition tomorrow.

While I have not had as bad a weekend as ZZub - and by the way, ZZub - I am SO sorry for your loss. I lost my first child. It took me over a year to be "normal" again. Please give your wife a hug for me. And if you need help in understanding her feelings, PM me. I'll try to help. Anyway - it's been rough here at the tink household.

My inlaws were in last weekend. We relocated after hurricane Katrina in August. DH was forced to resign his position as a result of the STORM. I was able to stay with my company, but here in MS. I have seen my inlaws 10 times more now that I am here that when I was in Louisiana. Dabgummit. I knew I should have moved to Alaska.

They have been here FOUR times since the hurricane. AND THEY STAYED AT MY HOUSE! That means 24 hours straight up in your face contact with people that gave birth to my DH but I would rather not be in the room with interaction, people.

Here's the rub. Our oldest dog, Dexter, is 9 years ols. He has seizures. He's had a few since we've been here. He's getting a bit nutsy. While the inlaws were here he bit DH on the hand. MIL saw it and freaked. I mean she went into total hysterics. You would have thought you were watching Roy being mauled by that tiger. It was that bad.

Fast forward to this weekend. DH woke up at 8am Saturday to "take the dog to the pound". We let DS tell Dexter goodbye and he took him away. My son, 11yrs old, crawled up on my lap and cried for 30 minutes, as did I. I hated those people for forcing my DH to do what he did. I hated him, too.

I know it wasn't their fault. The dog is/was 9. It's a quality of life thing. But still. I hate them.

Mark? are you there? Can you please help me out here?

To top it off, I have severe PMS and no rationale to speak of. (Make that DMS - i know - TMI) Y'all keep me going. I loved seeing the pics. If I knew how to post one I would do it. If anyone can link me to some directions it would be great.

We will not be taking a trip to The World anytime soon, sadly. We just bought a new house and will be moving in May 11th. It IS a lovely house, however, and it is right across from the middle and high school that he will be attending in the future.

So - bottom line. No Disney trip in the forseeable future,DMS, DK (dog killers) inlaws. You figure it out. But I have my wine.And my porkloin is almost ready.

I feel the need to share, Emily has strep, again. Thats right, I have my very own Streps, or Strepsi, as I call her. For those who may not know, refer to Mel Happyhaunts never ending trip report page one ( I think). Yep, I too am blessed with a child who gets strep throat at least 4 or 5 times a year. Poor kid woke up this morning and said, "Mom, I got strep again." Sure enough, the doctor agreed. After going through this for the past few years, the doctor says "Maybe we should consider taking out her tonsils" Gee doc, ya think? I've only been asking since she was a few weeks old and we realized she had these golf ball sized tonsils in her throat. Well, keep your fingers crossed, my baby may finally be getting rid of her tonsils and her quarterly strep diagnosis.

Oh, and to the maelstromers fitness group, I'll try, but there aint no way this here bigger than a size 4 girl is gonna go jogging. I just might get a black eye.

Melly Mel Mel: Yep, gonna have to try your approach. Seriously, I have been know to hang pictures of me at 18 when I could eat a Snickers for breakfast, chilicheeseburger and fries for lunch and a whole pizza for supper and still manage to lose 5 lbs. just walking across the room on the fridge door for motivation. Back then, I complained about being TOO skinny. Man, those were the good ole days. But a white terry cloth size 4 will work too.

MelonMom: Now, I don't recall ever sayin' I couldn't bust a move. Cuz you know I can. I've been known to bust a move or two. Hence my tag. I just can't bust a move and watch TV and do somersaults back and forth on a 14' long step. All at the same time. I do have limits, ya know.

Okay, now I gotta go cause my DH is yellin for me to get my tail in there and pay some attention to him instead of my "internet buddies". Yeah, he's not as romantic as MellyMan or Melon's Man. No massage oil and no drawing of the bubble bath for me. Instead, he wants me to come watch a show with him called "The Man Whose Arms Exploded"

Yeah, it's a documentary. That makes it even worse. On TLC if you're interested. Maybe not.
