So I will pick up on your cues, and got it Haleyb, saw your post SNOT!tee hee, thanks, I still haven't gotten to your TR, but a few people who have pmd me have told me to read em and I will.

Java: Is a Fastpass??!?!?

GeorgiaAristocat: You look like my OB-GYN....only thing missing is Dr. garb and Lisa Loeb glasses.

To everyone going in Dec.: We are going in Dec. too. Early Dec. The week after Pop Warner, cuz heaven knows I don't wanna have to break out my hipsters with "M'assaslama" on the butt. Plus we're too poor and large of a family to stay at a Deluxe, so we will avoid them(Pop Warner) at all costs.

Well I'm supposed to clean the ol' house today... so I guess I'll have to catch up again tomorrow. ;) Plus I have whites to fold, and now it's off to school. Which is just 7 steps to my right. :teeth:

Have a good day all! :sunny:

Maelstrom.........

Morning everybody. Got just a couple of minutes, then I gots to go.

First off, Marky Mark.

Thanks for that. It was very good stuff. And I agree with you that we could all benefit from it because let's face it. I'm sure we all have in-law issues once in a while and I'm sure we all get mad at our spouses every once in a while. Or maybe just a little more than that. But my point is that I think we all needed to hear that just to kind of keep things in perspective. Maybe you should be one of those televangelists that you despise but then show 'em how to do it. I'd watch.

Oh, one more thing. Thanks for includin' me in the Cool Kid Club. Of course you're a charter member too!!!! You're DA REV. How could you not be cool with a name like that?

party0023.gif

That's us there in the mosh pit. The Maelstromers. Jammin to Da Rev's funky beat.

Horsegirl: So glad you're gonna keep it goin, Girl. Hang in there. Oh, and I'm lovin the cat call and the dancing nanas. Your friend wanted to come out and say hello.

party0010.gif

SoNotaPrincess: Way to Go, Girl! I'll see your dancing Banana Men and raise you one.....wave?

party0019.gif

em'smom: Love the doctored photos. Those are so funny! :rotfl:

And, Melonmom(he he he, I just love your new name): Did ya watch? Were ya there in steroid h-e you know what with me? Thanks for the compliment. I do what I do. He's not so bad either I guess. :teeth:

But just for the record, I break it down Hamma style.

Hamma time!! duh duh duh duh........ duh duh........ duh duh

Can't touch this....

I'll have to check back with yall later tonight because I can't spend all day DISsing it at work again. Yeah right. Just like we're not going back to Disney again this year....

Have a great day everybody!!

Oh, and Mel, hope you're feeling better today! You gotta bring the Crane Kick, Danielsun.

I hear ya on that one! And I am in the middle of the age group here, 31, But I am finding my inspiration right here with the maelstromers. These moms of more than one are in such better shape than I am and I've just got my one strepsi. But, I am attempting to change that. Too bad sitting and reading isn't a work out. 'Cause apparently I can do that real well!

Also have no clue how, but for some reason I am contemplating a dec 06 trip. Does any know how that might have happened?

Is a FASTPASS!!!

Depending on what year it was, yes I was there. Marching in the band - hence my screen name by the way - we were the WORLD REKNOWNED FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY MARCHIIIIIIIIIIIINg CHIEFS!

I played trumpet.

So yeah, you probably saw me march and didn't even know it.

Can you hear the little dolls singing and moving like robots? "It's a world of laughter a world of tears..."

And Ally, FSU will always be better. (That's a shot to help lilygator come out of lurkdom!)

Blessings!
Mark

Real funny - but I guess it worked....get this - my first major was dance...I went to a performing arts high school...we all know who has a better theatre program (I won't actually say it). I applied to FSU, I even auditioned and everything but I could not bring myself to go there......and let's never speak of this incident again.....

and vettechick.......I think there are obnoxious fans everywhere...I know I was obnoxious on so many levels when I was actually a college student. As I have gotten older...I try and maintain a civilized manner. After a few beers that doesn't always happen...but there's nothing like game day at the Swamp...I love all the tailgatin' going on - the older ladies with their UF tablecloths, matching napkins, plates and cups....tents set up, tv's in the back of trucks.....:) you get the idea!

I started it, I said I didn't know who John Taylor was. So Mel said I was really young. I said I was 26 so everyone starting spouting out their ages, care to join in???

Well, I'm only 32...but if you've read our trip reports, you already knew that! I was 4 when Star Wars (episode IV) came out... and that year for Christmas I got a remote control R2-D2. It was very, very cool. I wish I still had it. I could sell it on eBay and pay for our next Disney trip. I had a "Rock Concert" pet rock. How scary was I?? No platforms for me. And we didn't play in phone booths. We did things like climb on top of school buildings at 1 in the morning.

Will I get kicked out of da club if I tell you all that I am truthfully a size 2? I thank God for my Dad's genes!!! But I still hate how I look in a bathing suit, bikini or no. That's just a universal female thing, I guess.

My boss is back in. So I'll REALLY have to get some work done today... not just pretend.

So true! :rotfl: And you gotta watch out for those old fans...they don't play!

Sheesh, what a bunch of young whippersnappers! 39 here, turning the big 4-0 in October. Celebrating that milestone event by going to WDW in December, like, apparently, everyone else on this thread (I'm a delayed gratification kind of guy).

OK, so I'm one of the young'uns at 28, and for some reason I'm starting to contemplate a Dec 06 trip as well - the Maelstromers are contagious!

ETA: Oh, and by the way, we're diehard Husker fans back here in the cold tundra of Lincoln, Nebraska, so lillygator and Mark and all you other UF and FSU fans

Nebraska Rules

Florida schools drool!

we'll be there 12/7-12/9 and then heading out on the DCL....but that may change if we can book one of the med sailings. :)

Morning Maelstromers!

Maelstrom!

I had a really busy morning and am not caught up with all your shenanigans, yet. Plus... I gotta do some real work today. Not just have fun... so I'll have to come back later and play. But I quickly scanned a bit, here, and figured out that Mark wrote something. So, of couse, I HAD to go read. Well...

Firstly, Tink38. So sorry. My pets have always been family too.

Now: Da Rev, Marky Mark ~ After what you wrote to Tink. And to all of us, here. AND... for your general all-round goodness and inspiration. Not to mention your rappin' abilities! I think I'm not alone, here, in saying: You are by far the coolest kid on THIS block. Maelstrom!

Soooooooooooo... new song for us today:

"...The only one who could ever reach me
Was Da Rev he's a preacherman
The only boy who could ever teach me
Was Da Rev he's a preacherman
Yes he was, he was
Oh, yes he was..."

Everyone sing... just like Dusty Springfield!

I'll be back... just like Arnie Schwarzenegger.

Mel.

Man...this thread moves fast! I got side-tracked by the kids. "Mom, we're hungry." "Mom, could you please drive me to gynastics...it's too far to walk." "Mom, can you help me with my homework?" Boy...kids can be SOOOOOoo demanding! ;)

I never had a pet rock...but my brother helped me learn to ride my bike with a MAGIC rock. I remember him telling me it would help me not fall. He was right. It worked. Then, he tossed it into the woods. I was horrified...I mean who would not keep a MAGIC rock that actually helped them learn to ride a bike. Who knew what other powers it held. To this day I am not sure what gave him more pleasure...helping me learn to ride...or torturing me by throuwing my MAGIC rock away....

I am 30...with 3 kids...they are 7,6, and 5...so I feel much older. Gray hairs...I have WAY too many. I WISH buying a size 4 bikini would motivate me...but size 4 just ain't happenin' for me. Nope. Maybe if I never ate again...but probably not. I think, though, I will join the track club too...and see what happens!

Well, I hope everyone has a great day. I'm off to pick one kiddie up at kindergarden...then hit a b-day party...then pick the other one up from school...and then more gymnastics.

Don't have too much fun without me!

Maelstrom...

Good Morning Maelstromers!

Y’all are positively cracking me up! Now, I’m happy to tell my age (26), but I’m not mentioning my size! A girl has got to draw the line somewhere. And Rhonda, we won’t hate you for wearing a size 2—I do too, except I can only wear size 2 pants on one of my legs at a time. :teeth: ;)

Is there a thread where Maelstromers are posting our dates for a winter trip to the World? I’ll be there at the end of November and very beginning of December. :)
