The Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 Pirate & Princess Party thread!

Hello everyone,

We leave in five days for a week vacation at POFQ (first time at this hotel) This is with my Dh and DD (4) . So this is a bonus trip for us. When I asked my husband I thought he is going to say no way, but he said just do it! He is officially hooked! So we will be at the Pop and be going to the Party on Feb 26th. I think my parents who are DVC members will be joining us. My daughter will definately be dressed up as one of the princess. Not sure about my husband or my self. I bet my daughter would like us to dress up.though. Can't wait for the party. I'll let everyone know about my first trip when I get back. Happy planning everyone!

We will be there for the Jan 26th party.....LTT ADR's for 5:15PM. And yes DH, DD1 and I will all be dressing up. DH and I work a haunted house so already have the pirate gear. I am having a Pirate princess outfit made for DD and have already found little black goth/pirate looking boots for her at Payless. They are soooo cute.

I am just so excited about this event and can't wait. Is there anyway we can setup a meet area or time just to say hello to one another at the parties.....any ideas? Or should I just stick a Home Depot Alien Green Mickey to my pirate hat. LOL!

Just got back from WDW Monday (Doodlebops had me at Hello!) and all I could think about while walking in MK was how cool this event is going to be. Sigh. Only 5 more months to go. &

So when you made your ADR, did they say you could enter the park with just your party ticket for it? We have AP's so this won't be an issue for us, but I know others on this thread are interested.

We (me, DH, DS (5), DD (2)- on my son's 5th birthday- March 8- hoping to have a ball. We will have to do both pirate and princess paths.

Hi Angel-B06! I added you to the March 8th list. What a great way to celebrate your son's 5th birthday! We'll be celebrating our 3rd son's 3rd birthday on our trip. His actual birthday is March 6th, so I guess if we stay till after midnight (at the 5th party), his birthday will begin in the MK! That would be cool.

Got tickets through for 29th January. Arrived only four days after ordering (and so they should for $10 posting charge!).

Hi! We are thinking about going on Mar. 5th (haven't ordered tix yet though). I was wondering though if we can make our ADR when we buy the tix? Or, do we have to wait till the 180 days?? Also, which one is best to book for this??

I plan on purchasing tickets for Jan. 26th. I originally wasn't planning on going to the party - our boys are 18 and 20 and quite frankly, I thought they'd think it was silly. However, when I mentioned it this morning, they both said "heck, yeah!"!! So now I am REALLY excited!

Yes you can enter the park early I think around 4:30PM with just the P & P ticket and especially if someone had made ADR's with the tickets.

Now I must advise it does not matter for me as likewise I am a AP holder. However I will be having guests with some of my tickets and it will matter to them. I even changed my ADR's for that night from Tony's to LTT, because I could get an earlier time at LTT. Tony's I originally booked almost immediately after getting the tickets and could only get a 6:05PM slot. With LTT I got a 5:15PM slot. More time to PARTY in my book......

When I first read about this, I thought it was a kid's event! Now I see lots of adult groups are going. Looks like I'll be attempting to make it as well now that I see this has a little something for everyone.

A haunted boat ride sounds like so much fun!

You can make your ADR when you buy your tickets, even if more than 180 days out. We're almost to the 180 day point from March 5th anyway...

We haven't eaten at either LTT or Tony's before, and we won't be for this party either. We'll do counter service or eat in the villa probably.

We will be dressing as pirates. Not sure exactly how or what, or even if ALL of us will dress up (maybe just the boys). I'm know I'm going to keep it simple though.

Going on 1/22 with 3 disney princesses. Will do makeovers at bibbidi boutique, dinner at castle, then off to party with princesses!! Just hope that Peter Pan will be there, DD loves him! As for DVC discount tix, I have to pick them up at will call.....

We ordered our tickets on July 13. We still haven't received them. I called at the beginning of August and the CM was very helpful and said we would get them in about 2 weeks and to call back if we didn't. I gave them 3-4 and then called back. I talked to the same CM. She says she doesn't know what happened. She sees the note she left. She is going to try again. We should have them in two weeks.

Yes, you can get tickets the day of, but to give you a heads up they will cost more than if you bought them in advance. The Disney website I believe had the info. I can't be certain though cause I have read the party info on different sites. I do know when we ordered tickets the CM did say that it would be a higher price if we bought the day of.

Just got our tickets for Jan 26th. My wife and I will be driving up after work on Thursday for a long weekend. The WLV is our choice this time because its close to the MK. We might dress up, I'm not sure yet. Should be a fun night.

I am wondering, from any other party-goers, do they sell special party T's during the event? We get T-shirts every year and it's always fun to find something unique.

Something like the logo the OP posted in the original thread would be very cool.

Can anyone give insight to what items they sell during special events/parties? Thanks!
