Cinderella's Gala Feast at Grand Floridian -- not very good and DD6 threw up all over everything

That's so sad, to me at least - that was one of our trip highlights! Cinderella was the only character dd actually hugged and talked to, in fact. Plus, I thought the food was pretty good.

Getting sick all over everything does tend to put a damper on the evening, tho...

Btw, dd3.5 (now 4!) loved the belly dancer at Marrakesh. No interaction required, but definitely entertaining, tho the food was just ok.

The food itself wasn't too bad and the characters we saw were good. Both of my girls were dressed as Cinderella and she did seem to appreciate that. We got some cute pics. Unfortunately, due to way too much chocolate milk, we had to make a hasty exit before we got to see Prince Charming. We ended up throwing her dress away. It was really gross. :scared1: I really felt sorry for the newlyweds on their honeymoon sitting at the next table!

I think we're going back to Norway though, because you get more princesses than just Cinderella. We're all about getting the best bang for your buck!

Ah, good to hear (I suppose) that it was more situational than actually the fault of the restaurant that ruined your meal. Dd mainly loves Cinderella (and now Tinkerbell), but not the other princesses that much, so that was why we chose that meal. But if your girls love a lot of them, it makes sense to do the Norway meal.

Be thankful. Right now my daughter wants to know when we'll see GISELLE. :sad2: At least you can go places where cinderella is guaranteed...

We're doing breakfast, so no beer.

Thee things:

1. At breakfast, after your first platter, you can order more of anything you want. We asked for JUST bacon on the second round and received about a pound of it!!

C. Beer in the morning is ok as long as you say "Vacation" to your spouses raised eyebrows. ::yes::

We actually ate here in October 2005 with the girls. They love looking at the pics of them with the princesses. Since the girls don't eat eggs or bacon/sausage, I'm sure we'll be asking for more cinnamon rolls, I'm sure.

I think this one is going to be just me and the girls, so I don't think I can partake of any beer. And I'm sure I'd get more than one strange glance from the waitstaff for ordering beer at 9am.

Buzz, I think you need to accompany your kids to school to learn to count! :rotfl2:

Too true. I'm waiting for the Enchanted dvd to hit the library - none of us have seen it yet, and I hate buying dvd's when I can get them free at the library.

The nice thing about a first trip is that the kids have no idea what to expect, so they are happy about anything. After that, they start having expectations...and since it'll probably be a couple years until we go back, there will be plenty of time for her (my dd, that is) to get more ideas!
