If you look in the pic Zandy posted of the Pop Jets, look to the back right of the picture. The colored flowers you see are the top of the stand in between Everything Pop and the Hippy Dippy Pool and next to Petals Pool Bar. Just to give you a frame of reference.

If you were to walk out the back of Everything Pop and make a left (walking toward the 70's section) the Pop Jets would be on your right as you pass the 60's section and head into the 70's.

Does that help? :)
Yes.Thank you. We will hopefully be staying in the 70's section. I think our boys will like this area, even thought they are probably a little old for it at 9 and 10.

Yes, they may be a little old to enjoy it for a lengthy period of time (most of the ones we saw there were about 4 and under,) but who doesn't like a little cool off in the middle of a hot day. You better believe if it had been hot when we were there, I would've been playing in the Pop Jets too :)

We can always get a gallon of milk in the frig and a few other things. We take cereal, and bagels (we use the toaster in the food court) and pop tarts for breakfast. The frig has a small freezer, but it is fairly small (we put water bottles in it, I think 2) :wave2:

Thank you so much, we were kind of concerned we would not be able to fit a whole gallon in there and couldn't remember how big they were from last time.

I know this question has probably been asked before, but I'm having a problem doing a search.

Are there alarm clocks in the rooms?

yes there are alarm clocks in the room, though ours didn't work that well. we just used the (ugh) stitch wake up calls.

We got Mickey every time but once at Pop. Do you know the trick? Set your wake up call for a random time- like 8:12 -and you'll have a better chance of getting the big guy ;)

Do you have to wait outside for buses or is there an inside area you can wait with a small child? In another thread, someone was mentioning waiting very long wait times for buses to the parks from POP (more than 20 minutes). I'll have a 3 year old with me and I'm wondering what to do with him while waiting.

Outside is where you wait. There are a few benches. We will be traveling with an 14 month old, 4 year old, 2-6 year olds and 1 of the 6 year olds is autisic. Autisic children can't tolerate waiting. There will be a lot of waiting in lines at anything you do @ WDW. Also when you are leaving the parks to go back to any resort you will be waiting outside.

tks for the tip..i am jotting it down in my journal of hints and tips for wdw!!! :goodvibes

OK silly question, but I have to ask... Do they still play "Zip-a-dee-do-dah Tip for Today" on the TV's at Disney resorts?

I will be in the World at Pop in May .... I have a question about one of the amenities you list as "upon Request". I have a toddler and I think he might sleep better in a bed than in a crib as he is almost two... the bed rails you mention, is that something I can use to keep him from falling off the bed??? I was looking into gettings some travel bed rails - but they are $$$$. Thanks so much!

First Visit - 1977 (2 years old) :earsboy: :earsgirl:

The bed rails slip in between the mattress and box spring, and are L shaped, so that they provide a railing to keep children from falling off the bed.

YES THEY DO!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!! I love those little songs on the "day report" channel in the hotel rooms. That is half of all the fun on the trip is the little bits of magic. ::MickeyMo

hehehe! I love all the "Disneyfied" channels on the TV at the resorts. I think they psych you up for a day at the parks when you are getting ready in the morning. :earsboy:

You comment makes me laugh. :rotfl: My 6 Y.O. had a major meltdown last week when her sister let her know that there was no Nickelodian, on Disney Resort TV's Shes been 3 times before and it never was an issue, but actually wanted to cancel the trip, if she could not watch Jimmie Neutron for a week.

She now wants to go buy a DVD that she can watch on Dad's laptop-NOT

BTW- Older DD, and I also love the disney channels  At the resorts- Thats how the whole non-nick channel argument started.

Did you mean my screen name or am I having a blonde moment?? LOL. I guess there must have been someone names Krissa with a "bride" screen name. I'm a different person!!!!
The Zipadee do dah channel (last I knew) had bee replaced by Krissa's Top 7 Things to Do on the Disney TVs. Zip was replaced well over a year ago as far as I know.

OHHHHHHH yeah, that's right. I thought she was talking about the weather and news in the parks channel where it's like kind of "muzak" and the info for weather and when the parks are open that day.
