What are the hours of operation of Everything POP? And also - do they sell autograph books there? I want to get one for DD, but want to have it before we go to the parks.

TIA!

I can't remember for sure, but I beleive it's in this thread somewhere already.
I think it opens at around 6 AM and clsoes around 11pm or 12 midnight. I'm sure they have autograph books.

We just got back Sunday. The hours for Everything Pop was 6:00 a.m. til 12:00 p.m. We loved the place! We could see Illuminations from our room in the 60s building 4.

Now I remember a couple of other things. I saw someone mention life jackets for kids by the pools - are there lots of them or should I pack my own? Also - should I pack my own beach towels or are there enough there. I was also thinking water shoes would be good for the splash pad - yes?

They aren't "beach towels" just the ones from your bathroom so they're not very big. We took a few of our own and supplemented with the ones from the room. You will have to ask Mousekeeping to bring you up more. It's not a big deal though.

This is our 1st time staying at POP. What bldg should I request for the best view of the fireworks. If I can not get this area, where is the best place to see them from.

We were in the 60s, building 4 in room 4362. I think if you can see the lake you could probably see the fireworks. We could also see the epcot ball.

my kids are getting so excited about staying at POP! (ok, I am too!!) So much to learn, so little time!!

someone, tell me a pop secret!!! :teeth:

They also leave a cart full of them outside the elevators on the ground floor. You can grab them on your way to the pool.:)

Hello everyone!
My boyfriend and I are staying at POP, leaving this friday!! I have not been to Disney in 11 years (seriously!), and I have been waiting for this for soooo long!!This whole forum has helped me tremendously, but I do have some questions...
Does everyone still wear the lime green? What about those Home Depot Mickey paint things (I made my boyfriend grab some for me!) I started reading this thread from the beginning so I may be a little out of it lol.
We will be in POP from Sunday until Saturday (we are visiting his grandmother nearby from Friday until Sunday morning), we have the DDP and some reservations for restaurants.... (Yea Chef Mickeys!!)...

Hi Andrea. Welcome! :welcome: I was expecting to see lime green and LGMH's everywhere, but I forgot how many people go to WDW! They are there, but you may or may not see them. I put a LGMH on my park pack and on my window. Got a few responses. Girl, if you don't have an ADR for a sitdown meal each day you need to call and make one. You may be eating at counter service any day you don't have an ADR. :confused3 Just go over to the food board for ideas, if you need them. Tip: the buffets can move people through faster so you have a better chance of getting a ressie. Crystal Palace is great in that regard. Boma is also very good. We LOVED Kona, and we really liked Coraf Reef also. Have a wonderful time. :goodvibes You will love Pop.

Definately get on the phone today and make the rest of the reservations. You will most likely not get in anywhere on the spur of the moment. I suggest Crystal palace as well. We loved it there. There is alot ot chose from, but be sure to pick resturants that coincide with where you will be that day. You don't want to be at EPCOT and then run to Magic Kingdom for dinner.

 Welcome to the Dis!! Stay here and you will learn everything you need to know about disney! Pop is our favorite resort!! Honey, you wear all that lime green!! I had shirts made up with this huge lime green mickey and had nobody approach me in the parks. :confused3 I was on the lookout for the LMGM and only saw 1 the whole trip. I put them on my door and my window. Chef Mickey is our favorite breakfast!! It's so much fun doing the theme song. We are going there for dinner one night. Have fun! :woohoo: If you have any questions send them my way!!

Hi Andrea, I agree Crystal Palace at Mk is great! If you are flexible with times you may still get ADRs! Try Cosmic Rays at MK for Counter Service, their Chicken & Ribs Combo is huge you should be able to share it with maybe a side of fries. We shared 2 between 5 and were all full. Saving a couple of C.S credits for that last day is a good idea.We also loved Planet Hollywood in DTD. Sci Fi at MGM is relly cool the atmoshere is the best. Check out the restaurants and menus.Tip for Pop I fyou ewant to get the sundaes as dessert they let you take up your receipt upto 1 hour after so you can enjoy your food and then have your icecream!! Enjoy

We just returned from POP today after staying for a week. It was our first stay at a Disney Resort so I can't compare to other resorts. But here are a few tips. If you get to the bus lines at least an hour before park opening, you can usually get on the first bus and make it inside the park by the opening. The bus waits varied and almost always had people standing during the ride. The frozen coke machines were broken most of the week we were there. The resort was exceptionally clean, cast members were helpful and friendly. The main pool was crowded from early to late. We found the resort to be quiet and didn't encounter smokers anywhere. Our son has asthma and we were concerned about coming in contact with smoke. We were in the 60's building, room 4338 and it was great. We could see the EPCOT ball, fireworks at night, and walk a short distance to the buses and food service areas. If you have any questions I will check back several days and answer any questions I can.

1st of all I thank everyone for their replies!! Now, for anyone who is interested, this is our schedule for the week....:
Sun 7/1- check in at POP about 2 pm, Head over to Epcot, ADR at Alfredos at 5:30 pm.
Mon 7/2- MGM day! Brown Derby ADR at 7:50 pm
Tues 7/3- MK day! Crystal Palace ADR at 1pm; Concourse Steakhouse ADR at 7:40
Wed 7/4- BOMA ADR at 9:45am, and we are hitting one of the water parks ( not sure what to do for dinner.....)
Thurs 7/5 - Sea World, House of Blues ADR at 6pm, Cirque de Soleil at 9pm
Fri 7/6- Universal Studios (US dinner, maybe Jimmy Buffets M?)
Sat 7/7- Chef Mickey's ADR at 10:50am and then we are heading home....

Any suggestions? Don't mind me, lol since I am new to this thread, I am still learning the abbreviations....
thanks!!!:woohoo:
