It mentions a Roger Rabbit statue in one of the buildings, I was wondering if this was ever made? If so, does anyone have any pics? I would stay in this resort just to see that up close.:rotfl:

Yes, there is a huge Roger Rabbit statue next to one of the 80s buildings, next to the computer-shaped pool. I have a picture, but my scanner is broken so I have no way of posting it for you.:confused3

"Really??? I did not know that. No one said anything to me. Our trip is completely paid for and the person I made the reservation with was very well aware that we were three adults. Do you think they will charge us extra once we get there? I certainly hope not considering I was completely upfront and wasn't trying to "hide" anyone.

Thank you for the info!! "

That is what I have read on the Disney World site. Perhaps this has already been added in since you have to tell them how many adults/children when booking reservations.

Wow, what a long Thread, can't honestly say I read through all of it but I have some questions. I noticed the begining of this thread was describing what the resort would look like. I also noticed it was written many moons ago. It mentions a Roger Rabbit statue in one of the buildings, I was wondering if this was ever made? If so, does anyone have any pics? There is a POP picture thread that has pictures of Roger rabbit as well as all around pop, inside and out.

I bet they added it in and you just don't know. Did you get yout tickets from them as well? You can always call to be sure though.

Yes, I did get our tickets through them, too. I booked the whole package at once. I don't mind paying the extra $10 per night per adult, but I don't want to be surprised with another bill when we get there. I am thinking (hoping) everything was billed all at the same time. I know they know it's three adults, because I had explained why we were going to be there: My mother and sister have never been and we never took vacations as a kid. So, as adults, I decided it was something we needed to do.

Thank you!! :flower3:

We're thinking about staying in the Perferred Rooms at the Pop? Can anyone give me any information on these rooms?:beach:

Here is a link for the Pop picture thread. It should take you to the page with Roger Rabbit.

For Illuminations I would go with 50s section Building C, Illuminations View, 3rd or 4th floor.

Here is a picture of our window @ POP!!
Is that crazy or what?
Mousiemom

Wow - I LOVE your window. Of course, there is no way I'm bringing that many stuffed animals, but it did look amazing. I wish I could find inflatable characters, hmmm...something to search for.

Thank You Pednurse, Sorry about your scanner but thanks for replying first. :thumbsup2
Thank You Jenseib, for pointing me in the right direction. :goodvibes
Thank You Declansdad, for answering both of my questions. :worship:
And Mousiemom, I agree with everyone else, that's a great window! :rotfl:
Now I really want to stay at POP!!! :woohoo:
Roger Rabbit is going to make a come back, you'll see! :rotfl2:

Ok, so we are going to be staying at Pop from 8/23-8/30 and are sooo excited for our first full stay on prop. (had some partial stays for other visits with our kids).
First: Anyone else going to be there then?

Second: What's up with the window thing. I know lots of things Disney but have no clue about this. Please do tell so I can be prepared and my kids can have even way more fun. :confused3 Thanks!

Some friends & I just got back from POP and we loved it. The hotel was better then what we were expecting too, it's definitely a lot bigger then I was assuming. The room, everything was good. We're going back in a few months and we're just sticking strictly with pop, we had a blast there, mets tons of interesting people & I love the fact that it's the cheapest but the hotel itself doesn't show it.:thumbsup2

First ? I wont be..leaving on the 22
Second ? You take things down to doracate your window or put things you buy in the window or do both.
If you want to decorate, take things down, like lights, cards, things to hang on the window, and little on and ends you bought before hand as a surprise(gifts) to put in the window. Like, suckers, glow sticks and mini fans.
We are hanging Mickey heads and streamers.(go to home depot and go into the paints and get the disney samples) I bought suckers that light up, min fans, bounce backball, glow sticks, made cards with clipart saying, Welcome to disney world, inside, it read, something like, ang I glad you came, Have a Magical vacation your pal, Mickey.
My kids really get a kick out of this.

We'll still be there the first couple of days of your visit! I've never docorated either, but intend to this time. From what I hear, the official sign of an official DIS member is the paint sample from home depot in alien green, so that's a start for decorating the window. We bought some mr. potato head cut outs from the dollar store, and I am going to look for window clings as well with disney characters.

So, for all of you who decorate your windows, how do you attach the LGMHs to the window? Are you just using scotch tape? It seems like the tape would show and it wouldnt look so good.

I can understand the window clings, but I assume that you just "cling" them backwards? I thought that window clings usually had the "non-picture" side attached to the window, so if you want the picture to show outside, you'd have to stick them with the picture facing out....

And for those who put stuffed animals in the window, how big is the ledge along the window at POP?

Also, how far away is the outlet from the window, as in what length extension cord would I need to plug in Xmas lights?

Hello Pop People!!

Just added a few days onto my vacation next month...we're starting at POP, and I've never been there before!! I have a LOT of research to do!!!!!
