Zandy, where were you from in Western NY? It must be fantastic to be that close now. I am near Buffalo and even though I would like it a little warmer than 64, I will take it in a hearbeat compared to what is outside my window right now lol. We still have 18 days so I am hoping it warms up a bit by then. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

If I am not mistaken, the only way they guarantee two adjoining rooms is if there are minors in the rooms. We are going down at the end of Nov. with just DH, DD 10 and DD 13 and myself. I was told that we would definitely have adjoining rooms. I'm not sure how they handle the others request if there are adults only in the room.

Hello all,
Has anybody else had trouble trying to open the fricknfrack.net site. My computer says that site does not exist. I would like to see those photos but no luck. :badpc:
Any tips would be much appreciated.
I am not going with my family until Feb. 2006 so Dec. doesn't seem quite that far out.
Ever since my web space provider switched servers, my web site keeps going down. Very frustrating, especially when they deny all problems. It usually goes back up within an hour or two.

We are planning a trip to Pop Century the beginning of Nov. My family is going and my sister/family. We would like to get 2 rooms next to each other. Should we each make a separate reservation? 1 of us make a reservation for 2 rooms? Is there any way to guarantee 2 side by side rooms?
Thanks! Kathy

list the ages of the people as two adults in one room and all the others as under 18. They will assign you connecting rooms. Then again you could just ask :cool1:

cricket429 ~ I was born in Springville, grew up in East Aurora and lived at Silver Lake for a couple years.

It's been in the high 70's, low 80's here lately, but this cold front got here today and will hang around for about a week, then warm back up. Hopefully this will be the last one of the season.

BTW ~ What's going on with the signatures? Is it just my computer or are they not working?

looks like they had to disable the java for the countdowns. Someone must have had a runaway script causing trouble.

Question for you POP people.

I want to make a PS to go to OHANA's for a character breakfast. What is the best way to get from POP to the Polynesian for breakfast? How much time should I allow? Any help would be much appreciated. Also, Tyler you could probably answer this - which parks does the monorail go to from the Poly?
Thanks,
Lesley

to get to the Poly from the Pop Id take the bus to MK and then monorail to Poly
or bus to TTC and walk to Poly

We did this last year and it was a great morning!!

Take the Magic Kingdom bus and then the resorts monorail. The monorail will take you THROUGH the Contemporary and to the Poly. You can even ask to ride in front with the driver of the monorail...my kids loved that and I just loved the sun rise!!

Monorail resorts---MK(park), Cont, Poly, GF

Sounds great, so what time would you suggest a PS for breakfast then if coming from POP and trying to get to MK around opening?? Thanks for your help with this, we're excited to try OHana's just trying to figure out how to get there in a timely fashion from POP.
Thanks,
Lesley

Where can I find a map of Pop? Also where would you recommend for party of 5 3 adults 2 kids and 2 rooms? Being able to see fireworks would be nice but not an absolute.

Thanks.

To avoid the crowds gathering at the MK, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Contemporary Resort because you have a Breakfast PS. They usually will do that for you on their way past. Then jump the resort monorail loop around to either the Poly or the GF. This should cut at least 10 minutes off of your travels, and you get to go through the CR concourse.

If you want a resort map, take a look at my resort presentation. You can get there through the links in my sig.

Bugsmom73, go to the main page and on the left click the Disney Hotel link and the you will see in the middle of the page Disney Resort Maps. I hope this helps you. ::MickeyMo

Thanks for your help.
I was able to access the pictures today, and it looked very nice and warm. I shouldn't complain though because even though I am in Co. it has been almost 50. :sunny:
