I am trying to put together our shopping list for the gardengrocer to deliver.

Could somone tell me if the food court at Pop sells quarts of milk or orange juice?

I think it's just half gallons of milk, but it is referenced in the "Food/Dining" section on Page 1 along with price, so check that out for details.

As for OJ, I'm not sure I've heard anyone reference it, nor do I recall seeing OJ in larger containers. Anyone have definite insight to that one?

Yes, the food court does sell 1/2 Gallons of milk for $2.99. I don't recall larger sizes of OJ. If they sell them they must be so expensive that I don't even consider purchasing them.

Automated systems generally use a person who talks in a clear, regular paced voice that is usually accent free (harder to understand an accent when you are hearing impaired). A good majority of regular people talk fast, mumble, etc on the phone which is why it is easier to hear an automated system vs. a live person. Does this make sense? I'm not deaf, just hearing impaired (there is a difference! ;)) so it is just a matter of being able to talk to someone who speaks clearly on the phone. Unfortunately that is very hard to come by these days.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I will plan to leave a note with my tip each day! Never even thought of that! :sad2:
Absolutely makes sense! Again, I'm not HI and sometimes the people I have to deal with - I can't understand either for all the reasons you stated! :headache:

 Awe! Thanks, Kim! You are most welcome! It thrills me to know that you found so much value in Posts 1 & 2. There are so many people on here and those who are no longer lurking that contributed to its content. I just put it all in one place! Needless to say, it took me countless hours to get it where it is, which really was only an outcome of my personal need to learn about PC. I thought "Why should anyone else have to spend all this time like I did?! SHARE SHARE SHARE!" :rotfl:

So I appreciate you taking the time to review and more importantly, to take advantage of the benefit of having it all at your fingertips so you don't waste time researching or waiting for responses when you have better things to do! Thanks for taking the time to express your appreciation!
It's because I know it took you countless hours, and love of the POP obviously, that you did this, and I just can't Thank You enough! Some newbies may not know ALL you've done here, but I DO! :worship: :goodvibes :thumbsup2 Thank you for SHARING!!! :grouphug:

Adding another Thank you to Kimberly "Buckeye Girl". This is such a wonderful and informative thread. I love how it is all organized. So wish you could do the other resorts or inspire others to do it. You've spoiled us.

We like a lot of the same places you do! We really like Ohana or Whispering Canyon.

I also want to say thanks for all the hard work put into the original post! It has made me even more excited to stay at POP. We've printed it out and I'm highlighting all the things that pertain to us or seem like they would. It's perfect for us compulsive planners. :thumbsup2 Thanks so much!

PLease post if you have stayed in a King Bed Room at Pop Century. Just would like to know everyone's thoughts on this.

King Bed room vs double beds?

Would you stay again in a King Bed Room, why or why not?

Room # of your king bed room and building?

Post Photo if any?

Congrats on your wonderful ADRs!!!!

I haven't stayed in a King bed room, however, I can direct you to links of some pictures in Post #1. Obviously you have more floor space than a room with two double beds, but otherwise, when it comes down to the room itself, there's no difference between a king and double room.

We stayed in room 0153 in building 10, 70's section in Dec. 08. It was a preferred room, king but not disabled accessible. Since we weren't using the pools, it was perfect for the DW and I. It was close to the 90's parking lot but had a nice green area right out our door. It was a very short walk to the Everything POP and transportation. Being a king bed there was much more floor space with nightstands on each side of the bed. It made the room seem more like a mod or deluxe. For two people or two with a little one (crib) its perfect. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We arrive a week from today, but this time with three adults and DGD in a preferred double-bed room. It may be a little cramped, but its WDW and we are looking forward to a great time!!:woohoo:

Sorry for no pics. The only one I have is of the door.

Great Thanks Gianna'sPapa! This will be our second trip to Pop Century. But this time its for our Honeymoon. Would ask for a Honeymoon suite if they had any.

How about Cape May Cafe clambake. Our whole family loved it, as well as the location.

Since it looks like you're into characters I would highly recommend 1900 Park Fare for the Cindy dinner. It is wonderful!
Or for something different maybe The Wave.

 The end rooms at POP are on the end of the bldg so just one room next door. The rooms are identical in every way, one window, same footage etc. We've been in both - some end rooms are nice because less people walk by the room, but it is a longer walk to the room - unless you get an end room by the elevator then everyone will walk by ;). If at the lake end facing EPCOT often other guests will gather there to watch the top of IllumiNations.
Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Thanks for the great information! I did on-line check-in and faxed my requests on Tue for our arrival next Sunday. So I am anxiously waiting to find out what our room assignment is :wizard:

JamieM28, have you done Ohana's for dinner? It's GREAT.. and if you time it right, you can see wishes - and they pipe in the music. Maybe that would be a good way to end your trip?
