We’re at the airport and delayed an hour…..so far. Hoping it doesn’t change again. Having a burger with a Capt. and coke - changing it up a bit.
I’m getting to the point that I almost like driving more. We only drive down once a year. DH wouldn’t want more than that.

Used up the rest of a quart bag of homemade chicken and some Italian bread slices to make some garlic soup. Threw a handful of frozen green peas into the pot while it simmered and called it a meal.

Last night was butter chicken.

Tonight I’m having breakfast for dinner! A maple bacon croissant, hash browns and a peppermint mocha iced alert juice from Dunkin.

We made it safely back to Massachusetts only to discover our furnace stopped working while we were gone. After the repairman finishes, we'll have to figure out dinner with no groceries on hand yet in the house...might just be PBJs or tuna sandwiches.

@mickey916 I hope you didn’t have any damage to your house with lack of heat.

The last few days have been a blur. Last night we had coconut shrimp with pina colada dipping sauce and fries. We just had a late lunch/early dinner. Pasta and meatballs, salad, and garlic knots.

Simple, tortellini stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta and tomato with a tomato and basil sauce, takes 5 1/2 minutes to cook

Thankfully no damage. Luckily it hasn't been cold enough to freeze pipes. Repairman has been here a while though and still no heat...
