I'll add...your doctor would need to make a statement for you that you would be disabled for 12 consecutive months with your disabling condition, you can't be on unemployment while you are filing for SSDI, the more regular your medical treatment the better chances of getting the benefit the first time/application. Because of your age, they would probably "diary" your case and, if you receive a clean bill of health down the road, your SSDI might end at a future date. Definitely get a rep to assist you with the application process.
ETA: I should explain that the judge will consider that the acceptance of unemployment on the part of the applicant indicates that they are physically able to work and are looking for work while collecting unemployment payments....which will go against the claim of having a disabling condition.

I just got off the phone with WDW cancelling our May reservations. I had to wait until I was sure I could do it without crying.
Now that I've had a few days to think about it, I know it's for the best though. Now I'm gonna hope for
This is the Great Pyrennees from the same people who had all the pups die from the last batch. They only have one surviving girl this time so we are rescuing her now at 7 weeks before anything bad happens to her. These people use their pair as farm animals but ours will be a spoiled house/guard dog unless I talk DH into letting me get some sheep or goats any time soon(believe me I HAVE actually tried
). We don't have a name yet until we see what her personality is. I'm leaning toward Daisy but no one else likes it.
), so I'm sure they would support you if you filed a claim. They always get denied the first round through (they went to the same school as the health insurance companies), but they base the decision on the file date, so any $$ received would go retroactive. The amount you receive is also based on your highest quarters, so the last 5 months wouldn't be a huge factor.

I love those things. And Happy Anniversary!!! I never would have noticed the date on your signature. Thank goodness for mtblu.

Thanks, guys!
