Yeah beat red with skin peeling off is quite attractive:lmao: Thats one reason I dont worry too much about sun now. I figure if I'm going to get anything, the zillions of burns I had a a kid will be the cause. The damage is done. I might as well enjoy what little sun I get now.

:lmao: Fry the redheads!

Not to be politically incorrect here or anything but my OLD job 2 jobs ago had a couple of beach places to rent just to the employees really cheap so we always used to go to the beach for a week & just lounge around all day doing nothing. So one year right after we were first married we asked my MIL to come down for a couple days. She had just adopted one of DH's cousins little boys (the cousin was a bit of a delinquent) and I guess Josh was about 4 or so at the time. Anyway, his father is black so Josh is basically black too. Well, so we're sitting out there all day & around like 4:00 or so I said something to my MIL about him looking a little pink. And she looks at him & she looks at me and she was like "hummm". "I didn't think he would burn." And I was like are you saying you didn't put any sunscreen on him ALL DAY 'cuz you thought since he was black he wouldn't burn?! :lmao: OMG. :scared1: I nearly died. MIL is a nice lady but boy oh boy sometimes I gotta wonder about her!

Oh yes, the baby oil. I still have some discoloration on my arms from peeling after I got severely fried using that when I was 16.

I now not only have started collecting "age spots" but I have several tiny spots that are white where I have literally bleached the pigment in some places!:) :sad2: You would think I would be more careful 'cuz my Grandfather on my Dad's side had a severe, permanent Sun Poisoning. He could not be outside in the sun AT ALL without long sleeves, long pants, gloves and a hat with a wide brim. Otherwise he would break out in this itchy rash that almost looked like poison ivy or something. I remember as a kid in the summer how miserable he looked - always dodging to the shade. Having to drive with gloves on...long sleeves when it was 90 degrees... He used to love to go camping but could only go out fishing at night... He worked in a glass factory for 30 years so I am not sure what he did to get this severe of a reaction. I mean, my other Grandparents were farmers and were outside all the time. But this one wasn't outside hardly at all...:confused3

Yikes! Thats scary, Annie!

I think we have discussed this before, but I'm drawing a blank. What dinner seating does everyone have (yes Im back to cruising mode)?

I should have known...you guys are all cruise pros.;) Late here too. :goodvibes

We had requested a table for 4 but if anyone wants to to link reservations Id be open to that. I'm guessing you are all already linked with each other, but if anyone isnt, let me know. I'd rather dine with people I "know" than take a chance of getting stuck with strangers. This is the one thing I hate about cruising.:headache:

:woohoo: Late, late, late!! (I simply cannot imagine why anybody would want to have to end their day so early as to go to the early dinner, yet so many people seem so obsessed with it!:confused3 )

Katie - we would be up for that if you want...esp. to hook Jared up with Cam & Colt!:goodvibes You'll have to let me know how this linking thing is done! Can you do it for both cruises or do we each have to contact DCL or what?

Last cruise we got put at the really large oval table in the center of ea. dining room - it held 15 people! It was all families of 3 with kids in the same age bracket but the other kids were all girls...well, there was apparently supposed to be one boy but they didn't show up AT ALL until the debarkation breakfast!! One family was quite normal but the other 2 were real story producers!!:lmao: This one girl was named 'Queenie' and she was a TRIP let me tell ya! She was there with her daughters "new" sister who was really the other daughter of this guy she had hooked up with years ago. (Apparently, Queenie had an affair with this other girls Dad and Queenie had this daughter from the affair and they were all there together - Queenie & her daughter & the other daughter of the guy from the affair...they were sharing a cabin - it was wild!!) We kept seeing Queenie all over the ship trying to flirt with men...and then we'd see the other sister with the daughter but no Queenie...it was funny!:confused3 :rotfl: It took the whole week to get the whole story put together!! Bit by bit, piece by piece!:rolleyes1

Please join me in wishng my friend Cheri a..............

OOO La La(thats Colts version)!

Hope you are having a great day, Cheri! Love the picture! I toast you with a can of Diet Coke that Im sucking down right now.

Thanks everyone. I'm having an exciting day waiting for the plumber to come fix a toilet. OH will the jocularity never end?

(Hey RJ: Katie drinks diet Coke in the am too. And did ya' have to post a picture of me lookin' snockered? We hadn't even started yet!)

I hope Sue Ellen linked us automatically as we kinda travel as a pack - like laughing hyenas (who can name them?) There are enough of us we could have our own half of the restuarant. Come to think of it... there doesn't seem to be any other people on the boat so I guess it doesn't matter :cool1:

TRM: how is Pirate Linden today?

OMG! Queenie sounds like a trip! :lmao:

When DH and I went alone, we ended up with another couple...who did not bring a watch on the cruise. This was before they had clocks in the rooms. They were late every night which held us up. I was bitter about having to dine with strangers to begin with and that just really ticked me off. Lucky it was only 2 nights since we did Palo once. ;) Our only other time we had table mates, again was 2 nights and they were grandparents and 2 young kids. Nice enough, but...

Maybe he'll be cute! ;)

Its PM here, but I do drink Diet Coke in the AM. ;) On my first cruise (not Disney) I almost had heart failure because we couldnt find any for breakfast! I was not happy. :headache:

Queenie WAS a trip - and she LOOKED like a "Queenie" too!:lmao: The other family at our big, big table was from Persia and they had their own "issues". They were pretty ummm...rude. They also were about 15-20 min. late every nite and then without fail, every single night they would both order something and then send it back and RE-order another meal - right down to the appetizer!:sad2: But they would eat most of it first.:confused3 I have only ever returned a meal once in my entire lifetime (it was a really, really, REALLY fatty piece of prime rib at the Outback). But I just cannot fathom returning every meal every night! :rolleyes1 How can you be THAT picky? After the 2nd nite nobody waited on them any more - they really did slow us down and make the dinners run extra long! I felt really bad for our wait staff!
