Couldn't do it... I'd look out the window and see Flight Deck and I'd end up craving some coaster rides.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Have a great time!

I was thinking about going to the Purdue game tomorrow, but it's going to be ridiculously hot and I need to get the locking mechanism on my truck repaired so I'll stay home and watch some football tomorrow afternoon and we might do something Monday... not sure yet. May head to the zoo if it isn't too hot.

I know it is going to be difficult to be so close but yet so far from Kings Island. Ethan will be disappointed when we drive by the gates and not go in :rotfl2:

Been to GWL up in Sandusky and really liked it and had season passes to KI a couple of years ago. Both are a good time. You will really enjoy it. My favorite time for the waterpark though is Jan/February when you are sick of the snow/sleet/damp/cold and it is a warm sunny getaway.

Have a great time!

Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone!! Stay safe and enjoy the last blast of summer!:thumbsup2

We are headed to Cincinnati to Great Wolf Lodge. Never been before so hopefully I have not built it up too much in my mind. What is everyone else doing this weekend...

Oh yeah...congrats on number 6000 Dave!:cool1: I beat you to it! LOL

Staycation...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Since we're leaving to go to WDW next Friday, we're just goofing off this weekend--I will probably put the boat in the water at some time this weekend, especially since mother nature is teasing us with a slight "coolness" in the breeze. Other than that, we're just hanging out...

So a lot of DW's and my friends are digging the whole May 4th/Star Wars Day due date that our newcomer is scheduled to have, as I am apparently the biggest SW Geek they know. They've been working on SW names for us to give the child if they are born on the 4th (as if they some how doubt my ability to come up with one).

One of her friends suggested "Vada" for a girl. Not crazy about it at all. If I wanted to name her after a Lady Vader, I'd call her "Lumiya".

My wife was joking about other names and she suggested "Lando" if it's a boy.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

"YES!" I exclaimed. "THAT IS IT!"

She thinks I was joking too. She has no idea how serious I am about it. If there ever was a name I'd like better than Chewbacca, it would be Lando.

You know, I almost wrecked my car the other day because of some dude and his infatuation....let's just say the tag said: "JOINVDR" All white Kia Soul with a full back windshield decal of a stormtrooper helmet. "Imperial Pilot" sticker on the lower left, Storm trooper bobblehead on the dash....

I swear I lost it:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Labor Day, I'll be laboring:scared1:, but for time and a half on Sun, & double time and a half on Mon it's hard to turn it down (got to pay the extra bills from the trip last week:scared1:)

I don't know how long the Kia Soul has been out, but the 1st time I ever saw one was 2 weeks ago heading to the Autotrain, it was in Del, I commented to my wife those are ugly cars, there were 2 of them traveling next to each other, also saw one in SC on the drive back, have not seen one since (guess they don't sell those in NJ:confused3:lmao:)

Fed does WDW Security have arresting power, do they carry, I saw a WDW Security K9 unit car last week when we were there:confused3

Funny little note:lmao: The 1st night we were at WDW I was wearing my Dis Dad Club polo shirt, when we went to see the Princesses Belle said The Dis Dads Club strangely I have heard of this group:lmao: I think I know how, she must have been the one who held up the sign:lmao:

I had 3 shirts with me I only wore it the 1 night mainly because it was getting TOO Much attention:scared1: Now Brent can back this up even on line I was asked about it:goodvibes

Depends on what you mean by "Security". The have Orange County Sheriff's Deputies on the grounds to handle arrests.

They have their own security "apparatus" which is...........substantial

The K9's belong to Disney and trained to detect certain items.....;)

I was just wondering since a K9 unit usually deals with police:confused3

I say Tahiri for a girl, and Ganner if it's a boy!

**Some** State Officers (most notably **some** Troopers) are bonded and can take fines right away....

I have yet to hear of any Law Enforcement Agency with Credit Card Readers in their vehicles....

Myth. Until I hear otherwise. I work with most big LE Agencies in North and Central Florida--none there.

None here in Coastal Georgia.

None in South Carolina.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them at some point though.

Thanks, everyone for the luck! I'll keep you guys updated.

haeng un eul bin da

Very nice attempt a Korean! :thumbsup2

Good luck to you, Kiddo, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for you.

Question: The place you're at now, isn't that the place you cut out of your contract early the first time you switched jobs over there?

TL

I don't believe I cut out of it early...if I did, it was only a couple days. The situation when I left there the first time was basically this. They had already found a replacement for me so I signed a contract for my second job. Either later that day or the next day, I found out my replacement got cold feet and decided not to come. So they asked me to stay. I said I would if they could get me a single apartment (no more roommates, I had about 8 different roommates that year), and match the salary the second job was going to give me (200,000 won more a month). The next day, the told me they could get me a single apartment, but only 100,000 won more a month. I said thanks, but no thanks.
