If you were going 80 mph on any of those interstates in SC, GA or FL, you were getting passed like you were standing still...
You passed within 4 miles of my house at Exit 1 on 95 in Georgia (Saint Mary's Road)
You have got that right, I thought I drove fast in Canada but you are nuts.

Riiiiight. If tutter is the kid in small world beating the dog with boomerang, you've got to be the alligator with the pink umbrella.
I used my 1,000th post to say some similar things. But I believe, sir, that you have put it so much better than I did. "You use your tonge prettier than..." (the rest of that quote is not family friendly, so if anyone isn't familiar with it, you'll have to Google it to get the rest.)
On a related note - the card that DS3 got me for Father's Day was one of those talking cards with a little speaker in it. It was a Transformers card, and whenever I opened it, Optimus Prime goes on and on about how great of a father I am and how the Universe needs more father's like me. For some reason, this went to my head and DW had to take the card away because I was opening it too much.
My theory - he wasn't wearing a shirt. He had that tattooed on.
Welcome back! Now fire up the griddle - there's a whole mess of hungry people in Canada!
Welcome back glad to hear you had a good drive, we are about to embark on out first driving adventure as well. Looking forward to it.
I've only driven, and having the car was great. Strangers asking where we found Chik-fil-a was funny to me. From the ST.L to WDW it's about 15 1/2 hours. Generally, we do a Pseudo-commando style. Leave at 11 p.m. and I drive while the kiddos sleep. Then around 6 or 7 am, we switch drivers. And while we don't drive straight to the parks, but we drive straight there, stay someplace about an hour away, then get there to have a full day at the parks. Having the car is nice, plus the DW doesn't like to fly. Finally, now that we're a family of 6, Flying isn't really going to be economical. Still, though, the DW saved us about an hour the way she drives.![]()
Welcome back Daddy-O! Glad you guys had a great time. And I'm also glad to see you're discovering the joy of road trips!
Of course, I say that as we're flying down to WDW next week.
Thanks, Barry. I wonder where I got the idea to use my 1,000 post to reflect on the Dads Club?
Ahhh...Blazing Saddles...
That card sounds awesome. I must demand this card next Father's Day.
Congrats!
Dude, don't hate on the desk job folk. I don't want you going out and giving the impression that people like me who sit behind a desk are lazy, out-of-shape slobs who shirk their duties to post on the DIS boards all day and--
Oh.

Thanks for all the welcome backs guys. We got right back into it at the restaurant.
I don't want to rehash the entire podcast thing but I wanted to throw my two cents in. I have listened to the podcast for two years now and really enjoy it. Most of the men on the podcast are openly gay and were just trying to have a conversation on the differences. I agree that they missed most of what goes on here but I am sure they meant no disrespect. For those of you who have never listened to the show, you should give it a listen.
DIS Dads...I'm taking all weight loss tips!![]()
The only tip I can give you is what I did and lost around 70 pounds. I basically cut all the sugar including natural sugars outs of my diet. I walked everyday and drank tons of water. 8 months later a new me.
Oh ya...I am doing all this on my new iPad!!!! Can I just say I love this thing!!!!!!!
