We always heard about the terrible two's when our kids were that age, but I will take the two's any day over the three's.

I am glad to hear you say that!!! I thought maybe it was just ours who were heathen children when they were 3! We just have to survive Lauren now and then we should be good to go for a little bit ha ha

I have been playing around with the idsdads email and calendars this evening...has anyone else done anything yet with it?

Hey there guys.

It's been quiet around here this weekend. :confused3

So on Saturday morning, DW gets the idea that this is the weekend that we are going to paint the kitchen. Needless to say I'm wiped out, (as is she) but the kitchen is done. Not quite what I thought I was going to be doing this weekend, but at least its done. :thumbsup2

Can I get added to your list of Disney dads? :cool1:

We are going home June 6th - 18th, 2010.

Last year I brought another Dad and his daughter with us on our trip to Disney. During the trip the girls (8yo and 10yo) decided to dub me the honorary title of "Big Fun Brain". :woohoo: Yes, they came up with this badge of honor.

Now the pressure is on for yet another year of "THE BIG FUN BRAIN". :dance3:

Cya all at the magic.

Magicdad

Welcome to the club Big Fun Brian!

Sorry, haven't been able to post much this weekend. We've been busy AND Squeaker (DS3) has been a complete hellion! Anyone interested in a slightly used three-year-old boy?

If you want, I can throw mine in and we can sell them as a package deal.

I'd swap you for a 4 y/o boy but I'd feel guilty about suckering you in. The difference between 3 and 4 is that when they start pushing your buttons they are doing it intentionally!

Must be something in the air this weekend, DS actually paused the DVR in the middle of Phineas and Ferb this afternoon to start an argument with me about I would do if he kicked me.

Bump. This thread was in danger of falling off of the first page of the board. Can't let that happen.

Thanks for the awareness billy! Can't let the DisDads fall off the front! :thumbsup2

Can we toss my 9 year old hellion in so they look like they have a big brother? :confused3

A great day for us. Oldest dd (8) received her 1st communion today. She was able to answer all the priest's questions during the homily, prompting him to look over at us. I just shrugged - I guess the Holy Spirit was working OT today. I very proud day for this Dad. :cool2:

DW decided to try and reboot our day at dinner, by announcing that we were having Turtle Pie and milkshakes for dinner. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that both of the kids took a pass on dessert . . . broccoli just doesn't really cut it after that.

It appeared to work pretty well with The Bug - we had a pretty pleasant rest of the evening until bedtime. Squeaker, OTOH, was still pushing buttons as we were putting him to bed. pirate:

After letting me dream for a week, DW let me know the Mustang is on hold for 14 months or so. My boys haven't been button pushing, but they have not. stopped. talking. for 3 days. My ears are starting to hurt from it.
And Disney-related, only 60-ish days till I can make my ADR's.

Oh man, that's dirty pool....quick turnaround deployment put my project on hold, but I'll try to pick it up when I get back!:woohoo:

On another note, I'm at home with a sick two year old today.....he's crashed out on the couch watching Playhouse Disney...

Knew he was really feeling bad when he didn't get up and dance to the opening song of the Imagination Movers (his favorite)

Whenever Dave from the Imagination Movers comes on screen, I start chanting RU-DY! RU-DY! RU-DY!

DW chants along. The kids wonder why their parents are crazy.

Speaking of ADR's, do you guys book the Fantasmic! Dinner Package to see it, or do you wing it to see it?

We have always had good luck winging it. Just make sure you are in line 45minutes to an hour before start time.

Well called member services today to try to change resorts for our Dec trip and no luck ,they dont have what I need.Looks like SSR will be our place of stay. But hey guess one can never complain about staying anywhere in Disney!!!
