I've been out with health issues the last couple of months, but I'm happy to be back at 100% and amazed to see that we're now on our third thread!

Oh, and I do have some news: my wife will be finishing her degree in history in August to become a teacher. And, guess where she wants to look for a teaching job?

Middlepat, you are the one that deserves kudos. I only have one to deal with the rest of the year. After the weekend, the other 6 are someonelse's problem. I am sure I could not take it if I had two additional "little darlings."

My wife is finishing up her degree in accounting in the next couple of months, her current employer has a small satellite office in Orlando, we're considering a move as well. I used to work in Melbourne and still have some contacts in the area, but with that CPA money she'll be bringing in, I might semi-retire and try and land a job at Disney. A pipe dream of course, but it's nice to dream, unfortunately, the fact that we'll never sell our house brings us back to reality.

thesis paper? you can see were we rate. congrats on all most being done. how cold is it in coon rapids mn? i have no clue were that is but it sounds cold there.

Yes Coon Rapids is a northern suburb on Minneapolis. It was a balmy 20 degrees today which is nice and warm. Althought it was a nice -14 Saturday Morning, sure would love to be at Disney instead of the deep freeze.

I am getting my bachelors in Management, only 4 more weeks and I can get my Wed evenings back again for the first time in over 2 years. It only took 12 years to go back to school to finish.
Sure will be worth it in the end.

The paper is on Strategic Organizational Leadership, in which i will be evaulating the company I work for (McDonald's) and how they keep and attract customers in a difficult economy. Had an interesting meeting with our marketing manager today, and two operations managers on wed. Only 40-50 more pages to write, not too much though. It will be a fun couple of weeks i am sure.

Thanks for the welcome! A quick intro, Myself ,54 (yikes that looks bad when you put it on paper). My wife 46 and daughters 14 and 12. Prefer land/sea Disney Cruises. When I showed my girls the intro on the Disney Dads thread they just read it in shock. I think they thought I was the only Disney crazy. As a matter of fact I did too. Glad to be here!

PS Any other veterans or active duty guys on thread ( besides Emma's Dad)

My son is into the toys in the Happy Meal. Right now they are giving Alvin and the Chipmunks, everytime we drive past a Micky D's he wants a Happy Meal
