:wizard: for DS grades to improve. Have you noticed an improvement since you increased his meds?

Some. I am wondering if there isn't still some dosage adjustment needed, but I don't want to just keep cranking it higher. DH and I are both tired of the snarly, rude comments and the constant "I don't know" but I think that is just kids that age, not DS in particular and not related to the ADD.

What's the fun in calmly walking up (or down) the stairs? Maybe he'll listen to the "no fooling around on the stairs" warning now?

Yeah. And maybe the moon will fall out of the sky.

Elizabeth, :wizard: for Jody. Hope his leg heals fast.

:woohoo: for you son on his math score. I stank at math reall bad.

Thanks, Heidi. I am HORRIBLE at math, and since DS's learning style is very similar to mine it doesn't surprise me that math is hard for him.

Walked across the street and Dawn and I played cards. :woohoo:

It sounds like he needs to get back on his meds now. Nothing will make sense until he does. :grouphug: for your family.

Elizbeth His grades were really good. I'm sure the grade reflects how well he plays the music in relation to the other children. Perhaps some practice more or have a natural talent for it. Consulting with the Band director sounds like a good idea.

I have to say that Chris knows the boys schedules just as well as I do. In fact he gets them up and fed in the mornings and because I'm typically working in the evenings he makes sure that bags are packed, they are bathed and in bed. He always tries to attend Parent Teacher conferences and knows what's going on with their classes and in their lives. He is often referred to as "Superdad" mostly by himself :lmao: He had a hard childhood with little parental support so being on top of his kids lives is very important to him.

well Chris, Tom and Bernadettes DH are all superdads
post 14,400 did not mean to get this one.

She wouldn't happen to be 10, would she? My Katie is acting the same way! I'm hoping it's a phase!
Pretty close..she's 11. She's been so good the past few days, now I feel guilty for complaining.:guilty:

My family could use some extra prayers and PD, if anyone can spare any.
Sending good thoughts to you & your family.:grouphug:

DS got his report card today. 2 surprises. 1) He got a "B" in math!! 2) He got a "B" in Band, with a numeric average of only 80.  That makes NO sense to me. He shows up every day with his drum sticks, so WHY is his grade so LOW? I need to e-mail the band director and/or the percussion teacher and ask what the deal is and find out how he can improve his grade in there. That really just boggles my mind.
Congrats on the math grade!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

DH's week is not off to a good start. He fell in the parking lot at one of the stores this morning and scraped up his leg and broke his watch.:guilty: The rain was coming down in buckets and he was trying to hurry. I don't know if his watch can be repaired or not. He has several, but I think the batteries in his others are all dead.
Oh no!!!! Hope he is on the mend fast.

Well if anyone has any spare :wizard: I could use just a little. My dad called me this morning and told me that my aunt had died (his sister). This was very sudden and quite a shock to everyone. The viewing is going to be Tues night and Wednesday afternoon and evening, with burial on Thurs. I know my parents would completely understand if I did not attend, but I really liked this aunt and she was good to me, and my children. So I'm planning on taking the kids out of school and driving up to PA on Tuesday and coming back to VA on Wednesday. Five and a half hour drive each way. So tomorrow after work I have to get things together to go up there, and then Wednesday night they go to their dad's to stay for the week that I am gone. So that means I have to have all their stuff together for that too. Plus get ready for our trip. I'm so afraid that I'm going to be so frazzled that by the time Thursday gets here I'll be going into the trip exhausted, instead of coming home exhausted. Can I pull this all off?
I am so sorry for your loss Tammi. I think you can pull it off. And we will make sure you have fun & don't stress while you are at Disney!

Joe has a black eye. The first one any of my kids has had. He was sort of running up the stairs on all fours last night and tripped and hit the side of his eye on the edge of the hardwood landing. It was bruised before he made it down the stairs. Luckily his eye isn't swolen today but it looks nasty.
Poor guy!!!!!

Ok I am half packed. I didn't realize how much stuff I need for just little old me!

Long day at work. Not enough help & alot of long lines. I did have one lady come in & ask me one question about the best place to dine with the princesses & that turned into quite a conversation.:rolleyes1

Night all!!!

Thank you. I feel like I have things kinda under control now.

Anne Marie - You really seem like you are enjoying your new job. How great to be able to talk Disney all day long, and get paid!

Well, her dd wanted to see Ariel so I said Akershus. I did let her know that it was a guarantee but we did see her there in August so she has a chance. She's a 1st timer.

You need to print up Disney Planner Extraordinaire business cards and slip them in peoples bags as they check out. ;)

Oh Jen, that poor man. I hope that you can get in touch with your Mom quickly. :wizard: :wizard: Hopefully it is just a little bruised.

When Chuck needed to know their schedule, he did. He usually left it to me but the 3 months that I had to live in Lansing 10 years ago when I first got my job with the state, he knew it just as well as I did. I have to say he is one of the best dads that I know as far as connecting with his daughters and knowing what is happening in their lives. They talk to him as much as me. At times, I've been jealous because I see some girls only talk to their mothers and I have to share with Chuck. Of course, most of the times I'm thrilled that they have both of us equally. Though, there are times that they have told dad that they "just need their mom".
