The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 30

So I am kicking myself in the tush. I was supposed to call three people tonight about work related issues. They are parents of girls or volunteers. All three said they needed to be called after 6:30pm or 8pm. Well I had a meeting tonight and totally forgot to call them. It was a volunteer meeting but still had me occupied. I will not call people I don't know at almost 10pm. 10pm is after 6pm or 8pm but I think it is too late to call total strangers.

Tomorrow the CEO is coming for lunch and to discuss the Strategic plan which the board recently approved. Plus I have a service unit meeting at night. I have a night meeting Tuesday-Thursday night.

I have to call the bank tomorrow as I cannot access my new account online.

Tammi- Tons of and prayers that you get everything done and safely.

Paula- Hope the shots become easier and easier for both of you.

Elizabeth- I am happy to hear your son improved his math grade. As for the band grade. He might have to successfully master certain pieces of music or memorize things for his grade. We used to lose points if we didn't have a pencil, music, instrument, reeds, neck strap, etc.

Jen- Sending good thoughts to you and your family

Lindsay- I am so sorry to hear your brother is not taking his meds. that he gets his life back together and soon.

Bernadette- that Joe's eye heals soon.

Denise- Hope Rees is doing better and the doctors give you some answers that help him feel better.

Robyn- Love the new signature picture.

Jennifer- Hope Virginia is not causing too much pain.

Everyone leaving for WDW soon I am so jealous. Have a fantastic trip.

Well, Chuck wants to go hang out in the hot tub for a 1/2 hour. He needs to relax. He has as much to do for work before we leave as I do. I think I'll go join him so we can chat about our trip. Be back in a little while.

Wish I had a LOT of money bet against you on this one, Deb. He has NO clue! Only time he ever did was when they were younger and I went back to work. He had to then because if he didn't our lives would have gone downhill so quickly. But, once I got a handle on working full time again, he conveniently forgot how to keep track of things like that.

In fact, myBob would make the perfect Absent Minded Professor!

Elizabeth - I couldn't find the BOGO coupon for Gharadelli on the entertainment site...would you mind PMing me how you found it? When I went to printable coupons the only one that came up was the 20% off...

that was the only one that came up for me too, Chanon. And I still couldn't print it!

I had to come back to post this Aidan update...

Four simple letters... H O M E

So strange to right that. I get chills just looking at what those letters form. Many definitions of the word and many ways it is said, but the simplest for me is "He's coming HOME". We spoke with the doctor today and we will be rooming in this weekend with the hopes of Medical Equipment arriving and him staying healthy.

He did 20 hours off the vent today and tomorrow he will go for 22. We got word today that my insurance is back in action, however the medicaid stuff to help us with nurses didn't arrive until last Friday, even though we mailed it to Grand Prairie on the 24th of Sept. Thanks USPS. So we will have to wait for that approval to help financially but we will bring him home before he makes a one night stay at a local nursing home for those benifits to kick in. This should happen in a few weeks, so we hope our finances will make it that far.

I was just looking back at my first post and can't believe how far we have gone. I know that Naomi and I couldn't have done it without the petitions of all those around us and the support of our Father. So those first 48 hours have come and gone and now we have a new time table in front of us, but wow is it exciting.

Thanks for all your prayers, it ain't over yet, but gosh it's getting close to the "real" work. We will still need all those prayers, heck maybe even more. Although we are thankfull for all of your continued support!

What a wonderfull answer to prayers we are able to present.

Well, I think I'm off to bed. Chuck & I are going to get up early as we both hope to get lots done. We have been packing slowly so that won't be too tough for us. I have our tshirts washed and ready to iron on the designs.

The jeans are altered As I was doing it I told Chris that I am way to Disney crazy when I buy a pair of Minnie jeans in a size too big then alter them to fit because I can't buy the right size as they are no longer carrying them.

I need to take my Cipro and head to bed. I know that I'm feeling better since I didn't remember to take the meds earlier. I've been more hungry today too. Things are looking up.

Thanks a bunch, Theresa! Can I make a request from all the DDAs who are doing this? How about we agree to NOT buy any Disney ornaments for ourselves until after the ornament exchange is done in case we would end up getting the same thing our ornament buddy gets us?

The coughing has finally slowed down. I swear my ribs hurt so much from coughing, that I felt like I had exercised for hours on end!

Tammi, so sorry to read about your loss! Drive safely. Sounds like you have it all under control!

Robyn, your new pic of the girls is so cute! Leighanna misses you guys! She still asks me when Robyn and her family are coming over!

I am going to list a couple of Leighanna's outfits that I made on Evil-Bay this weekend. I hope to make a few dollars for a down payment for a "proposed" trip either next summer, or possibly early December of next year!
