I have finally finished my second bag

Kate,

Very nice. I like it. Lime green and all.

As to the house comment. That is how my life is. I can do tons of things and can keep the things organized that I need to but where I live that is another story. Although it is getting to the point where I need to intervene, but I never seem to find the time.

Hello DDA.

I'm sorry I haven't been around and I probably won't be much for awhile.I do check email and Pms though.I'm just not up to socializing right now.

I really need help ,your prayers to help me get through a really, really rotten time in my life. :sad1: Things have been bad for several months and are probably going to get worse before they get better and I need some extra strength to carry me through.

Thanks.
We are here for you, Baloo. pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard:

Hi All! Sorry I fell behind on you guys when I got caught up in the AP frenzy a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to get caught up on all that was going on here before I posted again. (I did get AP rates for both trips in May :cool1: )

Seems like I miss the flu floating around in here. Hope all are well again.

Amy-congrats to all of you. How fun for you guys to welcome a little pirate: into your family soon.

Denise and Baloo :grouphug: for both of you.

Kate-great bag (again...)!!!

I bought my shirts today. Michaels has built a new store about 7 miles from my house and their grand opening was today. T shirts for kids and adults were 6 for $10.
I got 3 purple, 3 natural, 3 black, 3 royal blue, 2 pink and 1 gray for DH, 3 periwinkle, 2 lemon lime and 1 hunter green for DH, 2 red they were out of the youth small.

Now I just have to decide what designs to put on them.

I'm sure the stores are wondering what has made there T-shirt sales go up - haha!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: Isn't it funny what they come up with. Where in Mass are you. Maybe we can plan a shopping trip somewher in between. I'm going to Manchester, NH tomorrow for lunch. My boys are itching to get to Chucky Cheese with their report cards. That is the closest one to us. So I'm driving 1 1/4 hrs for Chucky Cheese. I guess that isn't as bad as 10 hours for Chick -Fil -A :rotfl2: Any nice campgrounds around you. We are still planning our summer camping trips.

Deb

We are in a small town on the South Shore (Cohasset). Just about 12 miles south of Boston. There is actually a state campground about 5 miles from us, Wompatuck, but I've only visited it one time and wasn't too impressed with the campground. That was about 10 years ago so I don't know what its like now. I've heard good things about Nickerson on the Cape but have never been. My DH & I used to be big tent campers. We mostly camped in Atlantic Canada-Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Newfoundland (we really love it there-been 3 times). As tent campers we've been very happy with the National campgrounds in in Canada. We've also camped in Maine & NH. We really love Lake Frances State Park in NH -on the CT lakes in northern NH near the Quebec border. Really beautiful there but few facilities. We've also flown to Alberta and rented a VW van camper and did the Canadian Rockies. I would love to camp at WDW someday.

You've had a rough couple of weeks. The Can-Can???? How frustrating for you to have to deal with that! So glad you've gotten proof (in poetry form) of the great job you're doing as a Mom!

Deb-got a question for you...what age does Cub Scouts start? I think my DS(5) would really love it. Does it start in K like girl scouts? He'll be in K next year.

ReAnSt/Becky-thanks for the girl scout ditty! My DD is a brownie. We were supposed to pick up the cookies last Sat but the cookie Mom called Thu and wanted them out of her house. It worked out great as I had sold most of the cookies to coworkers and I was able to bring them to work Fri and get them out of my house before anyone got into them!

Her brownie troop did great. They sold over 1,400 boxes for just 14 girls.

Baloo -- lots of prayers and :grouphug: s to you!

GOOD MORNING DDA!!!!!!

How is everyone doing today? I for the first time in a while feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We had a great weekend - Friday night we tried to go to the Fish Fry at our church and it had over an hour wait - for a fish fry!??!?!? We didn't wait but had a very nice family dinner out - then DH and I watched Just Like Heaven with reese witherspoon - it is a cute movie!

On Saturday - my parents took the kids to the circus and I got in some shopping and then Steve and I went to dinner with friends and to a casino riverboat - Steve and I aren't big gamblers and lost $10 on the slots - the couple we were with lost $450 - :faint: did I mention they are engaged and have no kids and make really good money? oh to be young and carefree again!!! The guys said - we're going to spend it somewhere - what is $100 - Steve said - dance lessons for two months, Nicks spring clothes, soccer - it was very funny!!!

Then yesterday we went to IHOP for breakfast after church and to the Museum center - the kids love to go there and we had a lot of fun!

I hope that maybe spring will start to stick and that we can start to spend more time outside!

Sounds like a great family weekend with some couple time too, the way weekends should be.

Myself almost 50 still can't tell my left from my right.

Jo-I've always had trouble with left/right, telling time and I didn't really read well until I was in college. My Dniece taught me a few years ago that if you hold your hands out in front of you with palms down and thumbs out that your left hand makes an "L". I hope I've explained that OK. I wish I learned about 40 years ago!

Ok, here goes. "Grab shell, Dude." I feel like I'm in that scene in Finding Nemo where Marlin & Dory are facing the swirling vortex of terror? Squirt says, "Good afternoon, we're gonna have a great jump today! Okay, crank a hard cutback as you hit the wall! There's a screaming bottom turn, so watch out! Remember: rip it, roll it and punch it!"
But anyway, I'm doing it. I'm finally jumping in on this thread. It's kind of intimidating. lol.
I've posted on this board a bunch. I've posted on this thread once. Tonight, I'll be up a while. Here I am, doing my final postings for the night and I hear the washing machine make a funny noise. I go over there and it's not spinning, it's not agitating. I had to (with help of DH) ring out the entire load and am running them in the dryer in thirds with dry towels. ARGH! Call the repair man tomorrow. So, anyway, I'm up and here I am.

You will definitely get to sleep later doing the middle school hours. Austin is now in 6th grade and he doesn't get on the bus until 8:40am!!!! I sit at the end of the driveway waiting for the bus to come before I leave. But Alex still has to be up by 6:45am to catch his bus at 7:30am. Oh well......nothing like being a Mom.

In our town high school (6 to 12) starts at 7:05 (not sure when the bus comes), 3/4/5 starts at 8:05 (I think the bus comes at 7:40), and K-1-2 starts at 9:05-my DD(grade 1) gets on the bus at 8:30. My kids are all 2 years apart in school so I was thinking they'ld always be in just 2 schools but I realized this fall that when my youngest is in 2nd grade at 1 school, my DS will be in 4th grade at another and oldest will be in 6th grade at a third school. I've got to say I'm not crazy about 6th grade at the high school but maybe things will change in the next 5 years.

Kristin-were you the one worrying about crying when you send DS to preschool next year? I send my baby to preschool next year so I'm sure I'll be crying too. I think sending her to K will be even harder-watching her get on the bus. At least her Dbrother will be riding the same bus with her. Sending my oldest on the bus to K was really difficult last year.
