my3princes said:We do make Maple Syrup. We actually sell it at the restaurant that I work for as well as other locations. We make around 500 gallons per year. I know all about not being able to eat it. This is the 3rd year that I have been on a low carb diet while making Maple Syrup. I always end up breaking the diet at least once. There is nothing better than fresh Maple syrup on a warm raised donut. I also love Maple Spread (It's like a really soft maple candy that is awesome on fried bread dough). Just writing about it is making me hungry. If anyone is going to be in Vermont within the next month, please let me know and we can get together for some Sugaring. It is a lot of work, but so much fun.

Wow - I never knew anyone who made maple syrup before - cool.
Which made me think actually, a lot of people talk about going to work or DISing while at work, but I don't think I have any idea what most of you do! Anyone want to share?
