Deb - Those costumes look great!

I was actually thinking about the hotel choices for a family of 5 that made Disney planning more difficult but the getting around is more challenging too. Lizzy & Emma are just 3 1/2 years apart which is a challenge at times but I'm sure makes some things easier. At Disney my DH won't go on the thrill rides so I would have to trust that Lizzy & Joe would be OK together on any ride Emma wanted to do which was really only BTMRR. We actually managed pretty good once I got them out of the room!!!!!!!!!Bernadette - Juggling 3 kids around home is hard enough for me - I don't even want to imagine juggling 3 at WDW!I just know from my previous jobs that 3 IS harder than 2. The logistics of going from 2 to 3 are far more complicated than going from 1 to 2. With 2 everybody still fits in the back seat of the car, and I still have a hand to hang on to everybody. Obviously this is less of an issue now that DS is 11 and Princess is my only charge. IF Princess were to have a sibling at some point it wouldn't be a horrible transition. My previous employers liked to have their children less than 2 years apart, and when DS was small it was like having 3 yr. old twins and a 1 yr. old.
DS was 8 when I went to work for Brother & Sister, so that wasn't bad. But the days when I had all 3 of them I was much more worn out than when there were just 2!

That is the same thing that happened with Lizzy. She has a lot of texture issues and is very reluctant to try new things. She only went to 1/2 day Kindergarten so no lunch there and was too afraid to buy lunch until the very end of 1st grade but once she did she would eat (I assume she actually ate it) stuff she would never try at home. Joe was ready to buy lunch his first day of Kindergarten. He has always been my adventurous eater. Now that Lizzy is in a new school she seems a little reluctant to buy lunch again. It is interesting to see Nick beginning to open up to new foods that he has tried at school.
At this point in my day I am 99.9% sure that I have a UTI or bladder infection. I've been thinking of Tammi's Alyssa all day because she must have been uncomfortable having repeat UTIs. 2 PM tomorrow can't come soon enough for the doctors appointment. Drinking water seems to have ramped up the pain because now I do need to pee more and it hurts every time. It is actually hurting non stop now, but I just took some advil and a vicadin so hopefully the pain will lessen soon. I wonder what vicadin and a stiff drink would do![]()
sounds like my dad with dogs. he was raised around cats annd doesnt like dogs because of the barking. well i got shocker and who is the one chasing her around the yard and playing with her and having her sleep in the bed while hes reading. my dad. Before we got our 1st cat, Gary was very adamant that he did not like cats, nor did he want us to get one. Guess who loves them just as much nowActually he was the one saying we needed to get another one & I kept saying no, until my friend showed me a picture of Mia. I knew I just had to add her to our family!
That is tricky! My kids don't like onions, either. I've taken to using onion powder to get the onion flavor without the onion texture, which is what my kids hate.
Check out the link in my signature. My website has recipes that my picky eaters have approved of.
Ah! A family after my own heart!![]()
I won't eat mushrooms or onions, either! Or shallots, or capers, or anything spicy. I won't eat peppers (red, yellow, or bell). I won't eat BBQ, Mexican, or anything that tastes like smoke. I don't like sauce, and I don't like my foods to touch each other on the plate.
DS has decided he likes tacos so I will tolerate them for him. But only tacos we make at home - no tacos from out.![]()
There is a HUGE difference between 2 and 3 when planning a Disney trip.![]()
No human could survive being pickier than Emma.
OMG you sound just like me! Cooking is no fun anymoreThe only veggie Gary will eat is corn. Honey how would you like your corn tonight, regular or creamed?
Now how exciting is that lol

We're back,
Actually we got back Sunday afternoon, but after we got the bags unpacked and the laundry started we crashed. We had a great time but a week in the heat at Disney with a 5 year old wore us out, not to mention catching the ME bus at 3:45 am. Here's a picture of Brandon at June's bench when I dropped off her rose and box.

well we got Virginia's room ready to bring in the furniture. It was raining today so we were unable to bring it in from the shed.
Kim - I don't fix anything. DH cooks.![]()
Main courses: Grilled meat (chicken, pork chops, steaks, burgers), rotisserie chicken from Sam's, pizza, tacos, Hamburger Helper (the cheeseburger flavor only). DS loves fish sticks, which gag me. I usually eat popcorn shrimp if he eats fish sticks. Sam's has the same meatballs that Subway uses, so we eat those with pasta. There are lots of things that Sam's has sporadically. They used to have this awesome frozen salmon with sesame topping but they don't have it anymore. Sometimes they have those turkey breasts (like a boneless ball of turkey). We also like General Tso's frozen chicken - little battered nuggets that DH serves with steamed rice and broccoli. This is kind of weird, but we like the refrigerated Hormel roast beef that you microwave. DS will eat peas, corn, potatoes and broccoli, and almost all fruits. He won't eat green beans or salad. I like edamame, but DS and DH don't like it. DS LOVES mac & cheese, too. At WDW he eats grilled salmon and mahi mahi. DH has never tried to cook those at home.![]()
not completely. But I work 3 12 hr shifts a week right now. in 2 more weeks I will go to 4 8hr shifts a week. Jeff was off today and my mom came out to help out. Hopefully by this weekend we will have the dresser and crib pieces inside. I am off this weekend so Hoping to get the crib put together. I did it last time by myself. Of course this time I have Olivia helping. Then next week I will wash the bedding and her clothes. I still have to pack my suitcase and Olivia's as she will stay overnight at grandma's.It sounds like you are making great progress. Has the "nesting" begun?
Debbie thanks for the postcard. I can't wait to hear all about your trip.
