Last year, a group of the moms got into a battle with the bus driver because she supposeably was screaming at the kids and was telling the kids to do the opposite of what the parents were telling them (something about disembarking from the bus). Tbe parents called the Department of Transportation and had the drivers supervisor come out. It went on and on. The moms started driving their kids to school. I guess that they thought that the bus driver would change this year. Well...she didn't. It's the same bus driver. The DOT said that they weren't going to switch her.
This is all second hand. I always drove my kids to school because it's easier than chasing the little one around the bus stop. Now...he wants to ride the bus and it comes at the same time that I would drive them anyway so I thought that I'd let them ride the bus there and then will pick them up after school.
I'm not sure what to believe since my kids weren't on the bus so this
is all second hand. This mom has called the DOT multiple times to complain about this, that and the other that maybe they don't take her seriously anymore. Like...oh...it's her calling again.

Maybe the bus driver
is inappropriately yelling at the kids. I guess it all depends on what kids are being yelled at too. I'd probably yell at a couple of them myself. Don't know. It's a he said/she said thing.
The moms are all in an uproar and sent out a letter to everyone in the neighborhood. I *really* don't want to get all involved with the mess but I guess that I'll let the kids ride and see what happens and judge for myself.
