Not yet. John wanted to do Garden Grill again, and I wanted to try LTT.

No Crystal Palace? Have you ever eaten there? The food is really good. We love both breakfast and dinner there!

You will do great Jen!

One more day for me too! I start coteaching a prekindergarten class tomorrow!! Im a bit nervous, because its the first time m starting a school year, full time..but im really lookng forward to it too

:wizard: for manageable traffic!

Happy Labor Day to you *and everyone else* too! The boys start school tomorrow too. Ken is coming in from Orlando this evening at 6:30 and wants me to pick him up at the airport in DC. Ugh. I *hope* that the traffic is not too bad. I'm sure that 95 won't be crowded at all.

Gald to hear that you had such a nice time, and yum on the menu. :)

Sorry to hear your washer is broke. :(

:yay: for being called ga ma. :woohoo:

What a great day!!:goodvibes

I had a "cookout" although I really didn't cook much. I put a couple of burgers on the grill and then picked up a half bussel of the worlds largest hard shell crabs. Yum!!! Fresh silver queen corn. Sweet. Home grown tomatoes, potato salad. I made non-alcoholic strawberry daquiris. My son and his family, my daughter's family and a couple of good friends rounded out the guest list. What a wonderful day.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

The only downside is that I am waiting for the Maytag repairman to stop fixing the machines that make toys and helping people install their cable and fix my washer!! No :laundy: :laundy: for me until Thursday. My poor DD had to go to the laundramat so we would have clean towels.:laundy:

Oh, and the best for last, my littlest grandson called me ga ma!!!!

That is the way I am. Have been since very little, and it just stuck with me. :(

I have to have good thoughts before falling asleep or I can have nightmares. I can't believe I'm 45 years old and still have nightmares.

Did you see the letter that went out about the bus driver? :headache:

I had a nightmare the other night that someone kidnapped the kids while I was putting away a grocery cart in the parking lot. It was so real. I couldn't go back to sleep.

OK, you cannot leave us all hanging wondering about the bus driver!

 I HATE when I have dreams like that. I bet you went and checked on them immediately.

Poor Kim! I just came back from Central Park and it already looked like a parking lot as I went over the overpasses. I think he will owe you BIG TIME!

Last year, a group of the moms got into a battle with the bus driver because she supposeably was screaming at the kids and was telling the kids to do the opposite of what the parents were telling them (something about disembarking from the bus). Tbe parents called the Department of Transportation and had the drivers supervisor come out. It went on and on. The moms started driving their kids to school. I guess that they thought that the bus driver would change this year. Well...she didn't. It's the same bus driver. The DOT said that they weren't going to switch her.

This is all second hand. I always drove my kids to school because it's easier than chasing the little one around the bus stop. Now...he wants to ride the bus and it comes at the same time that I would drive them anyway so I thought that I'd let them ride the bus there and then will pick them up after school.

I'm not sure what to believe since my kids weren't on the bus so this is all second hand. This mom has called the DOT multiple times to complain about this, that and the other that maybe they don't take her seriously anymore. Like...oh...it's her calling again. :confused3 Maybe the bus driver is inappropriately yelling at the kids. I guess it all depends on what kids are being yelled at too. I'd probably yell at a couple of them myself. Don't know. It's a he said/she said thing.

The moms are all in an uproar and sent out a letter to everyone in the neighborhood. I *really* don't want to get all involved with the mess but I guess that I'll let the kids ride and see what happens and judge for myself.

I agree... not a good way to start off the school year! I would wait and see what happens and you get the info firsthand from Owen and Shane.

Grrrrr....I'm already feeling the stress. I guess I better go and cook dinner and the such because we're not going to be home in time to eat after. :headache:

Jen you will do great with the teaching. :)

Thanks for the PM Elin. I will check it out.

Lunches are packed for tomorrow.

Kids are nicely playing Candy Land. That is until someone pulls the Plum and has to go back or someone pulls Queen Frostine and jumps ahead. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Elizabeth, we're going to be in Disney December 16-26. Does anyone know if we can book the carriage rides at the WL yet?

Happy Labour Day everybody!

One more day until school!!!!!
Does Canada celebrate Labor Day? Good luck with school!:wizard: I still owe you photos of the journal I made Emma with your name designs.

You've got to keep CP on your list for another trip! The food is really good and who doesn't love Pooh? I really LOVE breakfast-they have these things they called French Toast but they are really just a deep fried donut thing. They have an omlet bar that also makes fried eggs to order (I'm not a fan of buffet scrambled eggs) and blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes. Pooh & Tigger waffles and a breakfast lasagna-that is layers of pancakes, fruit and custard topped with carmalized bananas. The food at dinner is also very good but I really love breakfast foods.
