Janet - The seller has e-mailed that he will send a replacement pin. The identical one already has bids on it, so he can not stop the auction. So far he seems to be a very honest guy. I will send the damaged pin back to him in the morning.

Heidi - That is very sad. I have seen that same situation before. I hope the child is able to get past it and realize the father is a jerk.

I finally put some clothes on and went to check on things at work. Let's just say it was NOT a good decision to cancel the housekeepers for Saturday! Things are a MESS! I didn't go over with the intention of sticking around and WORKING, so I just emptied the kitchen trash, put a few things in the dishwasher and started the washer. Apparently Brother had an accident in his parents bed, because his wet pajamas and the sheets were in the washer. But the washer wasn't ON! The cat just sort of glared at me like "Yes? What do you want?" I will go over tomorrow to bring in the mail and throw the sheets in the dryer. I think I like it better when I work in the morning and they leave in the afternoon - that way I know things are tidy!

Have been talking to a friend today, her ex has really sunk to a new low. He told his 7yr. old daughter that his life and happiness is more important then her.

To say I would love to seriously hurt this piece of trash is putting it mildly.

to your friend and her daughter. That is horrible. My sister's ex did the same thing and it really hurt. 2 years later he tried to weasle his way into her life again by taking her out to dinner. Marina was so nervous that she threw up on him. We haven't heard from ex since!

Prayers for everyone! This is a hard thing to deal with.
