Just plain vanilla, please.

We could leave off the hot fudge if you'll join us. What do you like? Just ice cream? Or would you take cookie crumbs, sprinkles, cherries? You name it!

Peanut M&M's are my favorite, don't like dark chocolate at all.

For those of you that have flown with strollers...........

How do you get them through security in the airport? Do you put them through the x-rayer with your carry-ons or can you stroll them through the metal detector with your child still sitting in it?

I am taking mine for the first time (instead of renting) and I'm concerned about all the headaches with 2 kids, carry-ons, the stroller, and my laptop. Which leads me to another question......where in your room do you put the laptop? Do you hide it or just leave it out in the open?

I have taken my laptop twice to Disney & I have left it out. Now this was with my older laptop, if I take my new one I think I will lock it in a suitcase(I don't think it would fit in the safe). I have never had problems, but it would just make me feel better.

Elin congrats on the Oct. flights :woohoo:

Tia I know I have missed you, but I hope you have a great weekend!

Jen glad to hear your day went well at school.

Theresa hope your day is going better :wizard:

Karen

Heidi bummer about your Mickey crocs. I lucked out with the ones I bought, they fit pretty good & I love them!

Glynis glad to hear you are feeling better today!

Gary was not able to see the dentist today, but I did get his antibiotics. So he will go tomorrow & hopefully all will be good for awhile.

Thank you all for the SS card advice. I have called the SS office & now I just need to go in & apply for replacements. I still have not heard back from the investigator, but I will be filing a fraud alert, just in case :thumbsup2

I received a big box from Disneyshopping, but I have not had a chance to open it yet. Our jammies are here for our Dec. trip :rotfl:

Evening everyone!
Well, I have a few problems solved for this weekend. :teeth:
For the bridal shower I'm hosting Saturday, I just have a few more things to pick up - salad and rolls at Guidos (ordered and just need paid for); rice (for a game); wrapping paper; pickles and green olives. Decided not to buy containers for salad dressing, the jars are fine, instead of trying to make them look nice and not just in a Kraft bottle. Everything else is already in my trunk, in boxes ready to go.
For the bridal shower I'm attending on Sunday, I was having problems with "wrapping" the present. I got her shipboard credit and the Congratulations Stateroom celebration package (cake, balloons, streamers, confetti). All the cruise line gave me was an invoice. Go figure. So I thought I'd just buy a picture frame and use my wonderful clipart skills. (HA!) But it's a picture frame. Last time I was at her house, I didn't see many pictures out. I ended up going to Kohls last night and I found a set of glass coasters that you can slide pictures into for $10! So this morning I worked my clipart magic and each coaster now has a saying and something Hawaii on it in the picture spot. One has "Shipboard Credit", "Celebration Cake", "Stateroom Suprise" and the last one says "Enjoy your Hawaii Cruise! Love Chanon and Bob". Turned out cute! I hope she likes it...that and all the ribbon she has to fight through! :rotfl:

UPDATE ON MAC"S SON

April 26, 2007 at 05:29 PM CDT
I know it’s been awhile since we posted and I apologize for that, but how about an update? Over the last week, Aidan’s heart has gotten much better with the help of his new medication. This is something he will have to come home using, but they say this is just a temporary issue that will resolve itself over time.

He is also now off of the CPAP machine and is now down to just a standard nasal canella at a very low flow rate. He continues to stat high on his oxygen levels and may finally be off of the oxygen assistance all together.

Just yesterday they did another contrast study, and the Radiologist was “Quite Pleased” with the outcome. Today they started feeding him through his stomach and will continue that until they re-connect him around the 10th of May.

Tomorrow they have to do a minor surgery and insert another broviak line to run food through. Our boy doesn’t hold standard IV’s well and currently has lots of purple spots from blown veins. This way they can put a line in that they can continue to use for quite some time if need be.

Overall things are going better then planned. We have a few setbacks every so often, but he continues to push through them and come out stronger on the other side. He is now up to 11 lbs, 14 ozs and enjoys listening to music being played off of an old tape recorder in his bed with him.

Theresa, hope you start feeling better soon. pixiedust:

Hang in there!

so far no nausea. which is good since I threw up yesterday. I am making Fettuccine Alfredo for lunch as i have been craving it.

It is good to see you posting, Jennifer! I hope your lunch hit the spot!:)

Congrats to Jake! And good luck at the games tonight.

Yay for Jake on his portrayal of Honest Abe!:thumbsup2

I just booked airfare for our October trip for Bob and me! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Airtran out of Richmond with a TERRIFIC sale and perfect times. We leave Richmond at 8:00 a.m. and leave Orlando at 7:00 p.m. All for the grand total of $328 for both of us!

I will book the girls later when we know more about their schedules and locations for the fall.

Meanwhile, I have not booked airfare for the California trip but Chanon and Bob and I are working hard on our itinerary and reservations and we are almost set! :goodvibes

yay, Elin! Did you all see the DING! about SW fares through Nov. 2?

Tia have a safe trip.

Safe travels, Tia! Have fun!

Karen, I am sorry the attendant situation is still so crummy! And :wizard: for the job. I can relate!

Brilliant! I'm sure she will be thrilled!

Chanon, you are too crafty for me!

Glynis - Stop with the food!:rotfl2: First it was all the cakes and now you with the ice cream and M&Ms!:sad2:

I had a bit of excitement today. Brother bit the top off of a nightlight filled with liquid and glitter. Then he wouldn't tell me if he swallowed any of the liquid!:scared1: So I got to have a nice chat with Poison Control. Luckily they didn't think it was toxic, and if he did swallow any it was a very, very small amount because most of the liquid was still in the nightlight with some spilled on the playroom floor. He was fine after we brushed his teeth and gave him a drink. Of course I had to call Momboss and tell her what happened. She was very happy to hear that he was fine. Who would have thought he would BITE something like that?

DS had a good time at Career Day today. He said NONE of his classmates went to the Middle School for the tour. His best friend's mom came up to the school but her son told her he didn't want to leave! I'm glad I just stayed home!

Good morning DDA!

I fell out early last night, this has been a tiring week. After today I have the next 3 days off from work :cool1: It is another rainy day here, but looks like the weekend will be nice. I sure hope so, both the boys have their 1st baseball games Saturday.

I need to call the dentist this morning, poor Gary has a swollen face. When I 1st met him he had the the most beautiful teeth & unfortunatley over the years they have started going bad. He really needs to have them all pulled, but our dental insurance will not cover dentures till Dec. of this year. By that time, he won't have many left! I sure hope they can get him in today, I hate to see him in pain.

Tell Gary to take care.
I know to well how painful teeth can be.
:wizard:

Heidi-

It's restoreproducts.com for what we are using right now

Sungold soap also has some cleaning products....we've just stuck with the personal soap for now.
