Welcome home, Glynis!

I hope Olivia is feeling better. You too, Jennifer.

Ellen - I definitely think DH should talk to his DS about this. If you let it fester, it could potentially become an issue.

Chanon - I got your voice mail but wasn't able to call since we have been busy running around. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Thanks Tammi, I think so too, but I just wanted to see what others think, in case we are being unreasonable or something.

Ellen - I don't think you are being unreasonable. DH needs to get it off his chest.

Update on Aidan...

Well his contrast procedure is scheduled for Thursday. This will be a big day in his plans for full recovery. We just pray that it will be smooth and uneventful. During this procedure they will be able to find out if he has any blockage along the the remaining small intestine. This could be caused by either dead bowel that was missed or died after the procedure and/or scarring that has blocked at his connection points.

Besides that a quite and peaceful day for our little boy.

Terra just tells me that she wants to feel yucky!

It must be in the air. Hunter told me at bedtime that he thought he might throw up. I handed him a bucket and sent him to bed. Only time will tell.

and with that I say "Goodnight, DDA!"

Yes, Welcome home Glynis.

Ellen. I think that DH needs to let them know that he was hurt that he wasn't asked to babysit, but he needs to do it in a none confrontational way. You have no idea how the babysitter was chosen. The Ex-wife may have put DS on the spot by suggesting that she watch the baby and that DS take his wife out. In that situation he would have been put on the spot especially if he hadn't thought of going out on his own. How could he say "well, going out is a great idea, but I'd rather ask Dad to babysit". There is always two sides to a story and it may not be as cut and dry as you suspect. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'm sure you will make great babysitters someday real soon.

Work was slow again. I suspect that a lot of families go out for Easter so they will not go out during the week. Oh well, gotta take the bad with the good right?

I got home and my kids were fighting for my attention. It made me feel good that I was missed, but I the Mom, Mom, Mom when I got home was a little nerve racking. We finally got Nick and Hunter settled down about 1/2 late. Colby is still going strong though. I did get him off my lap long enough to type this though :rotfl:

Good points Deb, thanks for the input. I think you may be right about the ex pressuring them in some way. DH has calmed down since he first heard about it and got upset, so I think he will be able to approach them calmly about it without being confrontational, but just tell them how we feel and how much it would mean to us to get a chance to help them out and spend some quality time with the baby.

well Olivia's temp is 101.6

I am debating on if I should go to work tomorrow and let daddy deal with a sick Princess or if I should stay home.

okay I am headed to bed as I tend to wake up around 3 to go to the bathroom and have a hard time falling back to sleep I end up falling back to sleep around 5 and my alarm goes off at 5:30. I think I will wait and see what her temp is when I wake up at 3 to decide if I go to work or stay home.

So I think Terra is one of us now on the design side too. Phil parents are paying to flying Terra and I out to CA next month since they haven't seen her in a year and we can't afford it on our own. My DL AP is still good until the day we leave and my best friend has friends who will sign her boys and Terra in so we'll get to go to DL for a day. Today Terra says to me, "So what shirts are we going to wear to Disneyland? I think yellow and brown and pink." It explained that we were only going for one day so she decided that we needed yellow and then went on debating what kind of design we should put on it.

But she wants a shirt to get out there and to get back too.:thumbsup2 Too cute, let us know what type of shirt design she is getting.

HELLLLLLLLLPPPPP!!!

I've got a DING for Orlando for the time we need...but when I go to the website through the DING book this offer....it doesn't let me have the awesome deal!!!

What am I doing wrong???

ETA: OOOOOOOOOOPS!!! I read it wrong!! It is a great deal....but not great enough for me to change the dates around......$80 is more than we'd spend in changing everything else!!
