I hope that he is continuing to feel better!!

He is feeling much better! Only problem now, is that he is having trouble hearing. I think it's because the drops are softening the ear wax, and it's draining at a huge rate. Hopefully it will clear up in a day or 2. If not, back to the doctor we go!

I really, really tried. Heck my ticker says 180 days :confused3
The CM just kept saying 180 days from now is October 17 and she could not help me :rolleyes1

Terry, your ticker says 180 days 5 hours and ... I know you are excited to see me again but don't go jumping the gun! :lmao: Chuck & I can't wait until October! We will all have so much fun!

Some things that just disappeared......

Loved the cake topper Chanon!!

Okay people, listen up. I need to find a Disney lovin' man while I'm down there. I need a Disney lovin' man so I can have that cake topper on my cake. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Maybe I'll make buttons that say looking for a Disney lovin' man for my DDA buddy for October.... :smickey:

:yay: :yay:

:yay: :yay:

Not that's the definition of a moron. :headache:

Okay, I know there are more I missed. I'm getting sleepy. YAY. This is good. I need to become sleepy.

And this is so :offtopic: but do any of you other dyslectics see the prom dress as the porn dress, or is that uniquely mine???

I'll get my new glasses tomorrow. :hippie: :hippie:

Oh lastly, I must pout. I have to interview an intern Friday. So, she needs a desk. :rolleyes1 I have 2 or 3 desks just piled. So my boss told me I had to clean up an area for my intern. So....I was at work holding a bottle of Windex, and a dust cloth. Moving books. Clearing off desk space. Looking like Hazel the maid. :laundy: :laundy:  :headache: Got the only smile from Terry all day.... If she smiles again, I do it tomorrow. :cutie: :cutie:

I can always tell when Stephanie has posted. It brings a smile to my face before I even begin to read.

I definitely think you need to make a button. One of those big buttons about 3 inches across so that you can wear it all the time.

Your whole prom/porn comment made me :) . I have to say I do not share this with you.

:flower3: This is for Terry to see if she'll smile again!

Poor Stephanie, I could hear you coughing and sneezing in your office. :grouphug:

Yeah I smiled when I was talking about the Renissance Faire and Chuckie getting his picture with the Queen. and most of all --being with my sister.

This time I did not get a picture in the cockpit tho :lmao:

You are the bestest friend ever.

Where's my pictures? Did I miss them? I need pictures of Chuckie at the Renaissance Faire and pictures of him with the Queen.

Good evening all!

Robyn :wizard: for Molly, hope her ear is feeling better soon!

Glynis glad to hear Jacob is feeling better!

Theresa I love the dress, hope to see a picture of Cassidy. I think it looks perfect for a prom :thumbsup2

Tammi glad you were able to calm down  Enjoy your weekend!

Ellen I have never tried this before as I have never had problems with squirrels. Maybe the pepper being mixed with the paint made it not work :confused3

Debbie good luck looking at land!

Deb sounds like you had a wonderful day with the family!

Jen have fun tonight!

Hi Vicki :wave2: I am looking forward to Oct. as well. I can't wait to meet you all! Wouldn't it be cool if we could all meet at the Goofy statue & get a nice group picture :goodvibes

DDA prayers needed

My grandmother has been going to an arthritis Dr. well the Dr. ran some tests. They think my grandmother has bone cancer. She will be 76 in July and is not in the best of health. She sees the cancer Dr. tomorrow. Prayers that the tests are wrong.

:grouphug: and prayers for your Grandma and the entire family.

i talked to my friend Rachel who is pregnant. she is scheduled for a c section on Tuesday so Wednesday i will go up and see her and baby Sarah. :D

tomorrow our neighborhood is having a garage sale so we have pulled stuff for that. Sunday my dad might take me to his boss's ranch. their mare had a colt a few weeks ago and they also have some newborn calves that i wanna see. i cant wait. they have one horse that was a barrel racer in rodeos.
How great that Sarah has been waiting to come into this world.

Sounds like a fun weekend.

I'm home. Got here about 8pm last night. I spent the day unloading 1201 cases of cookies, sorting them into troop orders & helping the troops load them in their vehicles. After 6 hours, they are all with the troops! Yeah!!!!!
Welcome home!

 Must feel great to have the cookies sorted out!

I agree. When I was staying with my mother, we were at the store doing some food shopping, and as we wandered down the aisles, I noticed an elderly woman in a motorized shopping cart. She was trying to get something from the top shelf, and no one was helping her. Several store employees walked right by her without asking if they could help. I just couldn't stand it! I went up to her and asked if I could help. I got down the item she needed, and she sat back with tears in her eyes. She'd been trying to get some help for about a half an hour. She was about 85 years old, and was just worn out with trying to do her shopping. Mom and I got her set up in the deli department of the store with a drink, and we took her list and did her shopping for her. What's wrong with people? My parents brought me up to help out where I could see a need. I'm trying to do that with my kids, so I hope the lessons take. I would hope that someone would help my elderly mother if I wasn't around to take care of her! We need to get over the "my needs are greater than anyone else's" mentality!

That is one of the reasons that I like the DDA. So many of you share my beliefs, passions or whatever you call them. I was raised to help others. It was just expected. Now it is just a part of who I am. Actually sometimes I get as much out of helping others as the person I'm helping.

A couple of days after my dad's funeral, I was staying at my parents house. About 2 in the morning there was a knock on the door. A couple of women were run off the main road about a 1/4 mile from my parents house. They asked to use the phone and left. This was in November. I got up, got dressed and took my car to find them. I stayed with them until the police came and then I drove them into town (since their car wasn't drivable). One of them was one of my close friends in high school who had kind of lost her way and she didn't realize it was my house she stopped at. She felt really bad because she had heard that dad had recently died. Mom and I both had felt that Dad guided them to the house for help. In all the years that they have lived there, they have never had someone stop and ask for help. It reminded mom and I that as much grief as we were in there were still others that needed our help.

Luckily, I raised two daughters with the same feelings. It bothers them when they see others that are in need and no one helping them. They both help when they see someone who needs it. I'm quite proud of them for that.

Hi everyone, hope all is well with you. Everyone here is great. Nothing new and different.

A funny for the end of the week.

Subject: Stolen body parts

Most of you have read the scare-mail about the person whose kidneys were
stolen while he was passed out. Well, read on. While the kidney story
was an urban legend, this one is not. It's happening every day.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. It was
just that quick. I went to sleep in my body and woke up with someone
else's thighs. The new ones had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Who
would have done such a cruel thing to legs that had been mine for years?
Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine?

I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry,
I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans and Sheer Energy pantyhose.

Then, just when my guard was down, the thieves struck again. My butt was
next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new
rear end (although badly attached at least three inches lower than my
original) to the thighs they stuck me with earlier. Now, my rear
complemented my legs, lump for lump. Frantic, I prayed that long skirts
would stay in fashion.

It was two years ago when I realized my arms had been switched. One
morning I was fixing my hair and I watched horrified but fascinated as
the flesh of my upper arms swung to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This
was really getting scary. My body was being replaced one section at a time.
How clever and fiendish.

Age? Age had nothing to do with it. Age is supposed to creep up,
unnoticed, something like maturity. NO, I was being attacked repeatedly
and without warning.

In despair, I gave up my T-shirts. What could they do to me next?
My poor neck disappeared more quickly than the Thanksgiving turkey it now
resembled.

That's why I decided to tell my story. I can't take on the medical
profession by myself. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee.
That really isn't plastic that those surgeons are using. You KNOW where
they are getting those replacement parts, don't you?

The next time you suspect someone has had a face "lifted", look again.
Was it lifted from you?
I think I finally found my thighs . and I hope that Cindy Crawford paid
a really good price for them!

This is not a hoax. This is happening to women in every town every night.
WARN YOUR FRIENDS.

P.S. I must say that last year I thought someone had stolen my breasts.
I was lying in bed and they were gone! As I jumped out of bed I was
relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept.
Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

Absolutely! I'd love to have us all get a picture at the Goofy statue. If Chuck & I can get there early enough, maybe we can do it Thursday night when most of you are getting together at LTT for dinner.

I needed that laugh right now!

Robyn - I hope Molly feels better soon! Are you sure the tubes are still in her ears? One little guy I nannied had 3 sets of tubes put in because they kept falling out.

Karen - It sounds like you have some fun things planned for the weekend!

Ellen - We don't have a garage, so I can't help you. I have never heard of squirrels gnawing the paint off of anyone else's garage, either.

Tia - I find it is easier to keep the kids from fighting if we always have somewhere to go. Those days that we just hang around the house invariably turn ugly by lunchtime!

Paula - :rotfl2: I am definitely a victim!

Vicki - Welcome home! I hope everything is going well! Congrats getting the cookies distributed!

Theresa - I am still not understanding the difference between a homecoming dress and a prom dress. Good thing I have a BOY!:rotfl2: I think the dress is very pretty!

I got a call from DisneyLand while I was at Taekwondo. The lady wanted me to know that they have processed my exchange and it will go in the mail tomorrow. Talk about customer service! I just wanted to make sure the shirt wasn't lost in some postal void - after I knew they received it I figured I would just wait for the shirt to show up!:)

:grouphug:

Well, my day is off to a crappy start. Got into a big argument with xh2b. I can't stand him and I just wish he would be out of my life. He is a &%$(#@ idiot!!! Oh if I knew then what I know now I would NEVER have gotten involved with him. The only good thing is that I have 2 terrific children.

Now I just need to relax and get my blood pressure down!

Ann Marie, I wish I would have worn my flip flops today. Tomorrow I will though.
