I'm not!!! She can take meee!!

Sorry Elin I realized when we were talking ages awhile back that you are my mom's age.

Theresa - You know I would take you all... but I do NOT feel old enough to be your mother! :rotfl: It always amazes me that you are all so much younger than a couple of us on here!

Holy crap!

And yes, I've been looking at houses that are on the market in your neighborhood, just in case. If we have to move, I don't want the kids to have to change schools.

Well, there are all those new houses near me between Ferry Road and the new Giant! A lot of them have already been foreclosed on since the beginning asking price was over $600,000!!! :scared1: Bob and I figure that young families got in there with interest-only loans and when Stafford raised taxes they were in trouble. Very sad to see them sitting empty. Even more sad to know that lenders are approving loans like that! Imagine the income necessary to get a house like that with a traditional mortgage... boggles my mind, I tell you.

My mom also doesn't feel old enough to have a high school age granddaughter and you both are right!!! Lots of Cassidy's friends parents are your age.

Plus your both big kids that I love!!

We were at a 5th grade parents meeting last night (we will not go into the fact that I will have a middle schooler soon. ) when I realized we hadn't heard....I had Jim call Jane....from what he understood of what he heard...they've accepted our bid with one minor change.

Now all we have to do is wait for the loan approval!! I want to hear today so we can not only celebrate our anniversary but the fact that we will be home owners!!

That is terrific news, Theresa. I have everything physically possible crossed for you guys!

This is our problem in the Rochester area too, our housing costs are pretty low compared to other areas, so when we get ready to move we will likely be in for a shock. I definitely want to retire somewhere warmer, but would most like to have a cottage on the finger lakes in this area in the summer, and then go somewhere warmer for the winters. Don't know if I will ever be able to afford what I want, but I can dream...

that area is so pretty, Ellen, I can understand wanting to be on the Finger Lakes in the summer. After having lived in the Rochester area briefly I also understand wanting to be somewhere warmer in the winter too!

Good morning, DDA!:)

:cheer2: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :cheer2: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for the interviews! These are the ones to get you set up with the agencies and ready to meet families, right? More :wizard: that you stay healthy.

Yep. The "jumping through hoops" phase. But it is a necessary evil. I feel fine today, but I am starting to get a cough. Let's hope it doesn't get worse or they will start to suspect there is a reason I don't have a current TB test!:rotfl2:

That is beautiful! I really like the color and Laura looks great.

I agree! I wore something horrible to my 8th grade formal. An angora sweater (cream colored) and a skirt the color of surgical scrubs. Ick!

I checked my mail early this morning and saw yesterday's update. That one sounded better. This is so sad, and I can't imagine what they are going through. :(

Poor Aidan! And his poor parents! This really has been such an up and down process! I hope things turn for the better soon!

Happy Friday the 13th.:scared:

Have a great day.
It's Friday.

It IS Friday! And I am not working tonight because my bosses were supposed to go to an outdoor concert. They are calling for SEVERE thunderstorms with large hail - not outdoor concert weather!;)

I just got email from Southwest about a deal they are running for May and June travel. I could fly RT from DC to Orlando for $128.80! Now, if I only had a reason to go.... :rotfl: or a child to take.... :rotfl:

I see I am way late to this party. But if you need one more... Or if you need a boy I will offer up DS.:rolleyes1

If your desperate I could maybe arrange to be adopted for a few days. :confused3

ETA: Man, the volunteers are quick around here. :rotfl:

Yes, they are quick, aren't they?

I was able to get signed up. Thanks, Janet!

Tammi, Congrats!! I love doing surveys through Pinecone!:)

Vicki - I hope you all find the perfect dress today!!

I am going to pay some bills, then pop over to the mall to load some more $ on my Disney gift card before I pick up the little guys. I hope everybody has a great day!

Elizabeth - looks like we are getting a Grand Villa so you and DS can both come. Of course, now with all the airfare and the Grand Villa and needing to stay for 2 weeks to celebrate two birthdays and all the meals that this will entail, I am now poor and cannot afford to pay my cable bill and won't be able to DIS anymore so you all won't know when we are going.

off to get some housework done. talk to you all later!

No - mine had a link?

What are you looking for, Elin? MCO or LA? MCO's dings are for Birmingham, Jackson, Nashville, New Orleans, and St. Louis.
