Where are you eating on your MGM day? Are you doing FDP?

I think we will do H&V for dinner. DH loves buffets, and free dining is a good time to do them since it kills me to pay so much for DS when he only eats 4 bites of food. I don't have a preference on FDP. I might book a regular ADR for around 7 PM (Fantasmic should be at 9 PM) and then maybe see if I can switch it to FDP when they release later times. I saw on AllEars yesterday that HBD and MM are both increasing the prices on their FDPs, but not H&V.

Debbie - We figured out that MGM isn't a "full day" park for us. DS loves Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, and the drawing lesson in the animation building. He also likes "One Man's Dream". But we can get through those in very little time in the AM. DH & I like ToT but DS hates it. DS & DH rode RnRC once - I took the chicken exit. I am afraid it will mess up my back. I like the mermaid show but we have seen it enough that we can skip it. LMA was fine, but no rush to see it again. B&B show is wonderful, but that theater gets broiling. Maybe we'll see that next week and skip it in August. We could really just do an evening at MGM, but we love to get there at park opening before things get crowded. We did have a blast watching the Streetmosphere guys in December. MK is my very favorite, Epcot is DH's. I'm not sure DS has a favorite park - there are things in all of the parks that he really enjoys.

8/23 - MGM day, Sci Fi Lunch, not sure about dinner (Fantasmic!)
8/24 - Sleep in, DTD, BBB, dinner at Norway with the princesses
8/25 - EPCOT day, Le Cellier dinner
8/26 - AK day, Ohana dinner
8/27 - MK day, Crystal Palace dinner
8/28 - Sleep in/pool day, Italy in EPCOT for dinner
8/29 - MK day, LTT dinner
8/30 - EPCOT day, Teppanyaki dinner
8/31 - Cape May breakfast, go home.

MGM is a full day for us. The kids love it. I have to go on ToT alone as no one else will go. We do all the shows & this is the only place Sophie can see the Little Einsteins.

AK ends up being a full day too. Every year we have gone to Ak &then to Boma for dinner..this time we are going to go to the Poly after AK & check out the fireworks from the beach after Ohana. Boma is good, but I am tired of it.

We will get to MGM at opening, stick around until at least lunch, maybe go for a break and come back before dinner. It depends on how tired we are. DS might enjoy seeing Indiana Jones again - we haven't done that since our very first trip.

We can usually make a full day out of AK, and we usually go to Boma afterwards. We are skipping Boma because DS really doesn't like much of the food there. Right now our plan is to go to Kona that night. We LOVE Kona.

Have you guys been to Teppanyaki before? We are going to try it for the first time. DH wants to go there, and he usually doesn't ask for much, so I figured we'll give it a shot. Norway CS is my favorite, but I don't have a favorite TS at Epcot. We've done Le Cellier the past 2 trips.

We're doing breakfast at CMs and CP, and DS has requested breakfast at Donald's. I wanted to try Rainforest for breakfast but they don't open until 8:30 so that has been scrapped. But I guess if we do AM EMH and have a late breakfast around 10 AM we could do Rainforest. Too much planning!

Guess what I booked the trip yesterday and today is the 180 mark!!

I gotta figure out where we are eating (other than WCC with Deb and the boys) while we are there!!

The last time I was a WDW you went and picked up a phone once you were in the park for where you wanted to eat that day. I Biergarten...that's the only place I remember eating at.

I guess that's what we will be doing this week.

Our new ones are Citrico's, Flying Fish, Teppanyaki, LTT and WCC. All dinners. We will most likely have breakfast at WCC after the fishing excursion, just because we're staying at WL. I guess we are trying a fair amount of new places!

We've never been to Ohana. I think I would have liked the menu they had before they changed it the first time - we had an ADR that I cancelled when they made all the changes. DH would probably like it, but DS and I are probably better off at Kona!

Since I did all the worrying and running around for last year's trip that was postponed to this year...I just have to make sure the girls and Jim still want to go to those restaurants.

Deb--we will be in FL before we are actually at WDW do you want to figure out what night to do WCC between the 20th and 27th??

But like I said before the judging is a little odd....I personally think all of the DDA's should be in there because they were so creative!!

Good luck back!!!! I only scanned the others (espescially the ones we are supposed to be voting on) and really didn't like any of them!!!

If you won the judges stay would you take an extra trip or just tack that to a trip already in the works???
