i need some good thoughts if you dont mind! Ive been pretty sick for the past couple of days , and finally went to the dr today..She gave me some medicine to stop the vomiting , but said that the pain i am having may be linked to my appendix..She wants to see if the pain gets better or worse overnight and if its worse, ill be heading in for some tests..this is HORRIBLE timing, since its the end of the semester and i have a ton going on, so please just keep me in your thoughts if you dont mind

Becky,
Wow you must have had great seats at Radio City..we saw the show last year but we were way back. Nice shots.

I was in Orchestra row B. The theatre starts at AA thru ZZ than back further A to W so I was in the middle of the theater and in a middle row, I had the aisle seat. We went on a bus trip and these were the seats we got, I was pretty happy with them.

Most of these shots were pretty zoomed in at probably close to 12x, I love the image stabilization and zoom on my camera without it these would have not turned out so nice.

I'm tired as I was up to late last night, goodnight everyone. Sending prayers, :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you.

So I got a bunch of shopping finished today, lots of odds and ends. We finally decided to do a relaxation basket for my MIL as we have absolutely no idea what to get her. I found a nice manicure set with lotions, a bath set, some slippers, some body lotion, bath soaps and a lovely chenille and ultra suade throw (which I wouldn't mind having myself). I would like to get her a nice robe too, but have no idea what size a nearly 400 lb woman would wear :confused3 I'm thinking at least a 4X, but the one that I am looking at is Satin and does not stretch at all. I suggested to Chris that I might be better off buying a nice bath sheet, but he really think the robe would be nicer. So does anyone have any ideas on what size she might really be. I think she is about 5' 4" tall and somewhere between 375 and 400 lbs. I also have some cub scout popcorn to put in the basket and I'm thinking about some nice coffee. Any other ideas?

The Pack meeting went well and I think that we actually had all of the awards that we were supposed too.

Hunter finished his Mouse project and we delivered it to school tonight. He still needs to write a letter to Ralph explaining why Ralph should move into the house he built. He still has a week to write it so he is in good shape. I took pictures of the finished project and will try to post later.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to work for my mother while Colby is in school. I guess that makes me the lunch lady :rotfl: as Mom runs the Hot Lunch Program for the entire School District. Other than that I just want to get the house picked up then I can just wrap presents this weekend.

Now I need pixie dust and advice!!

Jim fell this morning on a small patch of ice. His arm will be in a sling for a couple of weeks.....I don't drive (don't have a license...long story) so we need pixie dust that he won't find driving hard to Golden. That's the need for pixie dust.

advice:

Cassidy thinks Abi found Cassidy's present from the big man....what do I do? This really is his last year coming to my house...either that or he doesn't come back this year??? HELP!!!
:wizard: for Jim hope he gets well fast

Well, it took a lot longer than we expected, but we are home from the hospital, and I don't have time to catchup right now, but wanted to post our update!!

Our new granddaughter, Hayley Jeanne was born at 11:05 this morning by cesarean section. She weighed in at 9 lbs 10 oz, and is 21.5 inches long. Jamie was in labor for a total of about 21 hours, and believe me she tried to push her out, but Hayley is a very big girl. Jamie had a fever at delivery, so Hayley will be on IV antibiotics in the special care nursery for 48 hours as a precaution, and Jamie is also on antibiotics. We went up to the hospital at 9pm last night and stayed up all night waiting, so we didn't end up getting to see Jamie after the delivery. We stayed at the hospital until about 2pm today, but Jamie was sleeping, and needed her rest. Aside from the fever Jamie and Hayley are doing fine, and they were both real troopers through the whole thing. We did get to see Hayley in the nursery with Shawn for a couple of minutes. Here she is, and I may be biased, but I think she is absolutely beautiful.

teal and silver were my wedding colors. Theresa I bet it was Beautiful.

Would you all believe I forgot my camera??? I had a friend take a picture.

It took me a half hour to figure what I wanted. I ended up placing a blue napkin down in the center, overturning a tree platter, putting silver and blue snowflake confetti, one large silver tree, my small tree and the nativity. Mine was the simplest but I liked it. There were 4 other blue tables!! My handmade ornaments were well received.

I already know that next year I want to do a snowman table!! :teeth:

Welcome home Jennifer and Elizabeth!!

Jen- hope you get better fast...please watch out as it sounds like your appendix is really the one acting funny.

I seem to have missed everyone again tonight!!

Every time I tried to do something at work, I got interrupted, so I am going to be SOOOOO busy tomorrow. Plus, my boss added a bulk mailing....so I get to do that too....YEAH me!!

We went to Cafe night....it's where the arts classes show their efforts for the semester. Abi was in band and Improv theater. She is actually in Advanced band....she plays the baritone beautifully!! My only gripe is low brass is always in the back so I can't get a good picture of her. :guilty: Her improv pieces were very well received. It is a fun evening....the best piece was at the end...well other than Abi's of course!! A group called Shindigs with Shakespeare did the Reader's Digest version of A Midsummer's Night Dream....it's amazing to me that these were 3rd, 4th and mainly 5th graders!!

Jim is on the equivalent of prescription Advil. The doctor wants a follow up on Monday which means more than likely he won't work until next Tuesday. He drives fine but I think I will go stir crazy with him home. :teeth:

Thanks all for all the comments about her new presents...she is mad that she won't ever know about any more presents....she loved that part of "knowing" about Santa....I just can't trust her to keep her trap shut!!

Me too!

But I do give the kids PJ's that are wrapped and they open on Christmas Eve. And I give them each a book addressed To Daddy & Lizzy, From Mommy; To Daddy & Joe From Mommy; To Daddy & Emma, From Mommy. This year Lizzy & DH are getting a weather book as Lizzy has always been fascinated by weather (maybe you could tell from her Thanksgiving poem), Joe & DH are getting R is for Racing-a racing ABC book as Joe LOVES cars and the alphabet, Emma & DH are getting Bats at the Beach as I think Emma will love the dark night time illustrations and DH actually loves bats.

Great book! We heard it at a story time just before we moved and Terra loved it.
