The sequel to the travelling DDA book is out...I am going to check out how much it is this weekend....though I have a pile of about 10 books I am behind right now....hope to get that one travelling by the new year.

So I'm sitting here wondering why everyone is saying good night so close together when I realize that it is almost 11:30 here. I'm printing out autograph pages right now. I finished the few pages I wanted to add plus some for the World Showcase countries. Tonight we tried the Santa coat on the cow and it fits so tomorrow I've got to sew on the trim. I also managed to pack all of the non-essentials. So, we may get there with no clothes, but our room will look great!

With about 32 hours to go before we leave I've got to print and iron our shirts, finish the Santa costume, pack, go to Kassie's Christmas program, got to Rachel's 5th grade musical and sometime in there remember to eat (that was the thing I kept forgetting today...good thing we've got the dining plan! I'm going to be hungry by Friday afternoon when we arrive.)

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Candied sweet potatoes and broccoli casserole

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? The year we got bicycles, but we'd driven from OK to KS for Christmas. Santa left us a note about how he knew we couldn't fit the bikes in the van so he had left them at our house.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I have no idea. As the oldest by as much as 20 years, I had to pretend for a long, long time. I think around 4th grade.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Not usually

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? With colored lights and a large hodgepodge of ornaments collected over the years.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it!!

12. Can you ice skate? Have you ever fallen on the ice? Yes, and Yes

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My Cabbage Patch Doll (we got notes for that one about how Santa's elves were overloaded with requests so we could go pick one out at the store a couple of weeks after Christmas)

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending time with loved ones

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Iced sugar cookies and pumpkin pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Our family's present opening bonanza and the whole system behind it.

17. What tops your tree? An angel

18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? I like giving.

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? O Holy Night and Mary Did You Know, though I love them all!

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Yum

Deb - I would think your MIL would need a 5x. The only places I can think of that might have them would be the Lane Bryant Catalog (but not a Lane Bryant Store; they are not the same thing) or Catherines. Morning everyone! I love the snow - but come on!?! There are kids that have gone to school just ONE day this week (and that was yesterday!) Geauga County has about 14 inches since Monday - and they are estimating another 4 for today. I am trying to remember the day I picked for the "Snow Day" through work...we pick a day when the Cleveland Airport will receive one inch of snow - and they should be there by now! I'm 99% sure I picked Walt's Birthday so I'm hoping I win that 1/2 day vacation!
Can't wait to here about everyones vacations!

I forgot to mention about the Quest for the Cashmere Sweater! We found one! Apparently Bob's dads list was for a cashmere/cotton sweater - and the ad he put with his list was from Eddie Bauer. We have an outlet mall by us so I called them to see if they had one...and they did! We were able to get the sweater AND the moccasins that he asked for for $50 (which is our limit!) I think that is our best buy for the season!

I was in Orchestra row B. The theatre starts at AA thru ZZ than back further A to W so I was in the middle of the theater and in a middle row, I had the aisle seat. We went on a bus trip and these were the seats we got, I was pretty happy with them.

Most of these shots were pretty zoomed in at probably close to 12x, I love the image stabilization and zoom on my camera without it these would have not turned out so nice.

I'm tired as I was up to late last night, goodnight everyone. Sending prayers, and to all of you.

Becky, what kind of camera do you have? I really want one with IS, but dh doesn't think I need a new camera. He's right, but I'm still going to keep researching in hopes of having a little extra to spend on myself at some point.

Your photos are beautiful! I was especially amazed the the stage shots!

Thanks all for all the comments about her new presents...she is mad that she won't ever know about any more presents....she loved that part of "knowing" about Santa....I just can't trust her to keep her trap shut!!

I love the new presents. What was the first present?

My older two still won't admit out loud about Santa. In our house we still all believe...of course, that doesn't get me out of shopping and wrapping.
