2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Puts under tree unwrapped

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White

4. Do you hang mistletoe? nope

5. When do you put your decorations up? We start Thanksgiving vacation and continue till they are all up!

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? My Mom's Chex Snax Mix recipe

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? decorating the tree and opening the stockings on Christmas morning before our parents woke up

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What... ??? ... what truth?!?! (actually my YOUNGER sister told me but I have blocked out that memory because I still don't believe her)

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? White lights, ribbon, many Santa ornaments and other ornaments from friends and loved ones. The other tree is a Disney tree and has everything imaginable on it.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Used to love it... now I dread it with a passion

12. Can you ice skate? Have you ever fallen on the ice? I have skated, but can't do it very well. I have fallen too many times to ever want to try it again.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? nope... loved them all

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? being with my family at WDW

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Grandma's Scotch Shortbread and Peppermint Stick Ice Cream

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Spending Christmas at WDW

17. What tops your tree? A Santa

18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? LOVE to give!

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Love them all

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? YUMMMMMM! And even better in Peppermint Stick Ice Cream!

Anyone know why I can't log on the passholder section of the Disney site? I enter my info and it chugs for a while then comes back to the same screen. Anyone know what might be wrong? Am I trying to get on too soon and the site doesn't know I bought the tickets yet since I bought them at DTD yesterday afternoon?

I just tried and couldn't get on.

I'm off to bed. Was up way too late last night.

I did not have rehearsal tonight so Bob and I went to an Italian restaurant downtown before I headed home from work. And now, I think I will take advantage of being home early and get off here, brew a cup of tea, change into my jammies and read a bit. See you in the morning, DDA!

xray machines are fine-never had a problem. I always carry my camera and all memory on so I've never tried sending it through the stronger checked luggage xray machine.

Can I ask a question since you know your cameras? I bought my first digital Canon 550 online. What kind of memory card do I need? Not sure what I am supposed to buy? Thanks

Hi Amy. Great pictures of the kiddos. You have a good Santa too!

Santa wraps at our house. But I have another question along those lines? How many of your kids get presents from both Santa and you? All of my kids' presents come from Santa. I don't know why, other than that's how my parents did it. For those of you that give your kids presents as well, how do you determine which are from you and which are from Santa?

We grew up with, and subsequentally do for our kids, Santa giving one big gift and the rest coming from Mom and Dad. The decision of what Santa gets is usually based on what is asked for most or is the most expensive item requested. Terra is getting a Diego Rescue Center and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as her primary gifts. Somewhere along the lines, the Diego Rescue Center became the first thing asked for from Santa every time, so I decided to make that the Santa gift. Growing up the Santa gift also turned out often to be the largest gift as it was set up unwrapped - the play kitchen, bikes, rocking horse, etc.

Ooooh, I bet it'll be beautiful! Blue and Silver are my favorites. As a matter of fact, they were my wedding colors

teal and silver were my wedding colors. Theresa I bet it was Beautiful.

I got tired of waiting for our 07-08 school calendar to be published, so I called the School Board. As it turns out next year Christmas break is Dec. 21 until JAN 7!! Usually we go back the day after New Years. This means that I can plan a WDW trip for the first week of January and miss the Christmas rush! Of course we will miss MVMCP but the Osborne Lights and all the other decorations will still be there. I'm so excited!!!!

That is great. I wonder when our break will be? I might need a January fix too.

Everyone is now there and the wedding should be starting shortly! It's so funny to be listening in - I love hearing the laughter and joy of people "meeting" for the first time!

The area around the statue is lighted enough that I think everyone can see ok!

...and it's my 2000th post! WHO HOO!

hi everyone-
i need some good thoughts if you dont mind! Ive been pretty sick for the past couple of days , and finally went to the dr today..She gave me some medicine to stop the vomiting , but said that the pain i am having may be linked to my appendix..She wants to see if the pain gets better or worse overnight and if its worse, ill be heading in for some tests..this is HORRIBLE timing, since its the end of the semester and i have a ton going on, so please just keep me in your thoughts if you dont mind

You've got it. Please keep in mind that if you're not getting better and it is your appendix it could burst so don't ignore it just because you have a lot going on. Prayers being said now that it is nothing serious.
