It's amazing how quickly they grow up, I can't believe that our DGS is already four.

I was talking to my dad today. He said that it is hard to believe how fast time goes and that it seemed like we had moved into their current house just yesterday. We figured out that I was the same age as my oldest is now! I think time speeds up the older I get. It scares me a bit sometimes.

I swear I did not read Jen's post that says the exact same thing!

Quick update --

I'm home tonight for just the second time since Friday. Lots of trauma and tears here, but bottom line is that mom is stable in ICU after having a filter put in to catch blood clots and major spine surgery on Friday. I need some advice, but I'm too tired to finish this now.

I'm not caught up, but here's PD and continuing prayers for June, Caroline, Kate, and all the other people who need it.

I swear I could feel you guys walking with me as I walked the hallways at the hospital. Thank you!

Good night. I'll post more tomorrow.

Marci

I wish I could stay and see who gets the milestone but I go back to work for the school year tomorrow morning. And for some stupid reason I have set myself up to teach 6 classes and 4 private lessons. That is eight hours of teaching, not including the planning I need to do for each class. So... I won't be on here much on Tuesdays.

I do promise that if I hear back from either one of June's children I will post an update or call someone and ask them to do it. (read "Tammi" in there)

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: You continue to be in my prayers, I don't know exactly what you need advice on, but follow your heart. I second guessed myself with every decision we made about Mom, especially when I told the Doctor we were taking her home. I now know it was the right thing to do, but it is so hard when you are going through it. Please try and get some rest, you'll need your strength.

Has anyone here seen Miyuki, the candy artist in Epcot (Japan)? She is amazing! I highly recommend catching her at least once. Get there early and right up against the ropes to really get a great view. Also, she picks people (usually kids) that were there early to make the candy for.

You must be doing something really spectacular for the post!

(This is really shameless posting so someone can get the milestone sooner rather than later!)

Nothing Spectacular, I only just learned how to change the font and I'm kinda slow at it. :rotfl:

Is she listed in the entertainment guide for the times she does this.

Marci! :grouphug: I will continue to pray for your mom and you as you go through all of this. Please let us know if there's something we can do for you!

He was filming an underwater episode off the great barrier reef...somehow a stingray stung him...it pierced his heart and he died.

I've heard about her, she sounds really fascinating. I've never seen Devine either, I'm gonna try and find her this next trip.

I definitely want to try and see her in December.

Yes, she is. Her stand is tucked away a little bit, but it's right next to the entrance to the store. She is amazing!
