Has anyone here seen Miyuki, the candy artist in Epcot (Japan)? She is amazing! I highly recommend catching her at least once. Get there early and right up against the ropes to really get a great view. Also, she picks people (usually kids) that were there early to make the candy for.

We saw her in March - and I was lucky enough to be picked to get one of her creations! I'll try to post some pics, but she was just amazing.

I can tell you, though - treat her creations like you would chocolate - they do melt in the Florida heat. :guilty:

Well, I slept in until 6:20 this morning! Want to know why??? I am hobbling around here today like a little old lady. In addition to getting into the crawl space to start the water draining, I had to replace the belt on my dryer. Bob has no patience when it comes to stuff that takes time on the weekends, so I finally shooed him out of the laundry room and did it myself.

Let me tell you what... I should have spent the $75 to have a repairman do it! I am so sore and I have a bruise the size and color of a plum on my right arm where I had to push against the dryer body to get enough "purchase" to move the #*$&% idler pulley close to the motor. AAAAAAACK! I would rather teach 100 6 years olds at once than do that again. And to top if off, now I have to finish the laundry! ;)

So I am done with my P3 for now but will be back to check in later this morning.

GOOD MORNING, DDA! :sunny:

I tore my brother's dryer apart a few months ago and I was +$#^&%$$ alot myself. They leave no room to work on those things. It is great that you saved the $75 tough :thumbsup2

I do promise that if I hear back from either one of June's children I will post an update or call someone and ask them to do it. (read "Tammi" in there)

:teeth:

I can do that.

I've just heard about this and can't wait to see her.

Here's a question for those of you who have been on EE, did you have any problems with nausea after riding it. My DD and I sure did, I wasn't expecting that.
No, I didn't, and I didn't know what it was going to be like either. But I loved it!

John and I week 6 of our diet. He's down a little over 20 pounds, and I'm down 15. Here are some befores on the top line and afters from today.

ETA: Here's another one of me from this week. I can see a bigger difference in it.

Wow, you look great. How much more do you want to lose? I don't think that either of you need to lose much more :thumbsup2

Well, between PM's from Tammi, Deb & Chanon, voice mail message from Paula, phone call from Deb and e-mails from Theresa, I think I'm caught up on the major events of the DDA. I'll have to spend all day tomorrow reading to catch up on all the other stuff (boy you guys were chatty).

In the mean time, prayers & pixiedust: continue for everyone that needs it (especially June). I hope everyone had a great holiday week-end and that the coming week brings you great things!

My DD really burst my bubble yesterday, I told her I was excited because we only had 48 more days until our trip, that's when she informed me that I left out a month and it was actually 78. Of course I called her a brat!

I think I would have used that word too!!!

I'm off to bed. With it being TOM for me over the week-end and sharing a trailer with Becky, Chuck needs some attention tonight.

And before anyone else can say it, I know Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

I'll catch up with all of you tomorrow.

Quick update --

I'm home tonight for just the second time since Friday. Lots of trauma and tears here, but bottom line is that mom is stable in ICU after having a filter put in to catch blood clots and major spine surgery on Friday. I need some advice, but I'm too tired to finish this now.

I'm not caught up, but here's PD and continuing prayers for June, Caroline, Kate, and all the other people who need it.

I swear I could feel you guys walking with me as I walked the hallways at the hospital. Thank you!

Good night. I'll post more tomorrow.

Marci

Shoot!!! I hoped your mom was getting better!!

Be praying for your entire family still!!
