Hey everyone

Just thought I would stop in and thank you all for the well wishes and prayers

I have been having full blown anxiety attacks all week and actually begged Steve not to drive to the hospital - I told him I was going to tell them I ate a HUGE breakfast and might be pregnant to avoid surgery - my nurse was laughing and said to me at one point - "you do realize this is elective surgery don't you?"

But don't worry - once the gave me my "happy shot" it was smooth sailing - I was out for about an hour and left the hospital about an hour later - I came home and slept all afternoon and now I contemplating dinner -I have felt pretty nausous and walking in the house made me throw up but I have taken some phenergan and I am getting pretty hungry -

the doctor told Steve he was able to fix it and it was pretty bad and definately needed to be fixed - and I should be back to new pretty soon - I have 6 weeks of physical therapy

I got a shot of mrphine at about 2:00 at the hospital but I haven't needed any more pain medicine yet - I am sure I just jinxed myself - I am so exhausted - I might just go back to sleep!!!

Kate,

Good to see you posting. Just take it easy and do your physical therapy. :grouphug:

I wish I could stay and see who gets the milestone but I go back to work for the school year tomorrow morning. And for some stupid reason I have set myself up to teach 6 classes and 4 private lessons. That is eight hours of teaching, not including the planning I need to do for each class. So... I won't be on here much on Tuesdays.

I do promise that if I hear back from either one of June's children I will post an update or call someone and ask them to do it. (read "Tammi" in there)

have a good day tomorrow :goodvibes:

Here's a question for those of you who have been on EE, did you have any problems with nausea after riding it. My DD and I sure did, I wasn't expecting that.

Has anyone here seen Miyuki, the candy artist in Epcot (Japan)? She is amazing! I highly recommend catching her at least once. Get there early and right up against the ropes to really get a great view. Also, she picks people (usually kids) that were there early to make the candy for.

shes is awesome! i was amazed watching!

I've heard about her, she sounds really fascinating. I've never seen Devine either, I'm gonna try and find her this next trip.

We saw Devine for the first time this trip, though the kids were anxious to go, go, go, so we didn't really take much time to watch.

Laura, Miles, and I saw Miyuki once last trip. I can't remember why Michael and Matthew weren't with us. We only caught the end of the show, though. We tried to go back, but she was off on the only other day we were in Epcot.

This time we watched twice. The first time, there was a large crowd. We were there early, but so were lots of other people. She picked Miles to get an animal. The next time, the park was almost deserted. We were the only ones waiting for the longest time, though a small crowd gathered once she got started. That time she picked all three of mine to get animals. I will post the photos tomorrow.

I've read up to page 4100, but I swear that you all are posting faster than I'm reading. I hope that I'm coming to good news. I did read that Jo is getting settled in and that Caroline should be coming home :thumbsup2 It also sounds like a bunch of people are back from great vacations :thumbsup2 Now back to reading.

My dh sure did! He is sensitive to backwards motion anyway, though. He only rode it once. The kids and I loved it and didn't have any reaction.

I did not care for it...I felt dizzy. I thought I was gonna die after RnR. I used to love all those rides....this is how I knew I was old!!

It's been great chatting tonight but I have to be at work at 5 in the morning, so I had better get to bed.

Night Everyone,

Debbie

What tag fairy???!?!? I haven't heard of no tag fairy??!?!? It's not like they couldn't find great things about us either! We shamelessly post to reach a new milestone, talk about turtles and Pal Mickeys traveling the world, poop on shirts, eat Tums to curb a craving, crave fast food chicken and homeade dolewhips and post pics of killer sharks, killer bridges and killer hamsters I mean mice I mean gerbals...what could a tag fairy possiblely have to say about US?? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Man!!! I leave for one afternoon and I come home to 10 pages.....I don't think we did that all weekend!!

Going back to check on what I missed!!

Bless you Jennifer! Thank you so much for the cool update! You're the best!!!!  :dance3:

My sister and I just got home. Took me 4 hours to fix her computer.... There were several times tonight I had to stop myself from tossing it through her brand new windows.

But it finally submitted to the computer guru and acted right.. What an ordeal..... :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

But now she can :surfweb:

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I'm exhausted. It was a 3.5 hour drive up through the driving rain :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: $ hours there fixing the computer and then 4 hours driving home in even more driving rain... :umbrella: :umbrella:

I could have used a :boat: Nite, nite.

What a good sister you are.

Deb

(...and I purposely made that long *just in case* the tag fairy wanted to quote me for some reason!)

Quick update --

I'm home tonight for just the second time since Friday. Lots of trauma and tears here, but bottom line is that mom is stable in ICU after having a filter put in to catch blood clots and major spine surgery on Friday. I need some advice, but I'm too tired to finish this now.

I'm not caught up, but here's PD and continuing prayers for June, Caroline, Kate, and all the other people who need it.

I swear I could feel you guys walking with me as I walked the hallways at the hospital. Thank you!

Good night. I'll post more tomorrow.

Marci
I'm so sorry Marci. We are here for you. :wizard: :grouphug:
