And a question... how far out can you book your packages? I know the rooms can get booked 499 days out, but what about the packages? Thanks for any info!!

Hi Mrs. Grumpy! I am here, as the name suggests, Undercover. My dd-12 always wants to peek over my shoulder when I DIS and I want a ticker for a surprise vacation so this is my secret ninja account for MamaJessie from the September thread.

This way I can indulge in over obsessive planning when they go to school/bed. Thank goodness the younger two cannot read yet

So we are thinking January at Ft. Wilderness but with so much time left that could change, depending on discounts too. I would like to try connecting rooms at POP but DH loves the hot tub Also considered a suite at AoA but the prices seemed a bit steep for a value, to me at least, and then of course.. the hot tub.

We want to do the dining plan this time so I really hope that is offered as a discount

That is funny you have to have a 2nd username! I put the undercover one on the list but if you want both just let me know!

It used to always be August when the packages would be released but last year they released them in June for 2012. So I am going to be ready in June this year to book just in case.

Oh I hope it is in June! I'd like to be able to book the package before ADR time instead of making a room only and then having to switch it to a package

Mrs Grumpy I am sooo excited!!!! I get to go back this year again(well I mean 2012) Dont take me off the list though because I am also coming in 2013. We are doing a Disney cruise next year with just a couple of days at the parks. The year year afterI will get to be at WDW the whole week!! Ahhhh....life just cant get any better!!!

I am planning on going in June or 593 days from now, but it all depends on how quickly I find a job after I graduate in May and the place where I get a job's vacation policy etc etc, but I'm being optomistic I'm planning on staying in either AOA's little mermaid section or POFQ, depending on the price difference can't wait!!!

Hello!! I am currently tentatively planning an August 2012 with my girls and sister and niece. However, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer so we are not sure how this will effect our trip for next year.

If we are not able to make the trip next summer, then I have 2 options I'm looking at for 2013:

1) January: our favorite time of year to travel
2) November: have already done the Halloween party so I would like to try the Christmas party

Would love to try the Little Mermaid section at AOA but love POFQ.

Looking forward to join in the planning fun.

Good luck on the job hunt! We are also going to book at AOA and then may upgrade to either POR or POFQ depending on if any discounts are out. AOA looks really cool though so might just stay there no matter what. Have lots of time to change my mind a million times.

Was looking up hotels in the DTD area and the nick hotel and DH looked over my shoulder and asked what I was doing and he said "Nope, no way, need to make this clear, ON SITE next time" I was only looking at doing one or two days off site before the disney part of the trip to save some $$ but he is adamant. I am happy to oblige

Already trying to think of what i can give them for gifts next Christmas that they can use for the trip. I am really in love with the January vacation idea!! So darn excited. Only 14 months to go... 8 months until ADRs..

You can count me in! It has been since Sept 09 since our last trip, so I am itching to go back!!!

I was looking at April, but I didn't remember it being so much more than Feb or October. So now my plan in either Mardi Gras, which is in Feb 2013, or early October. I'll know once the rates are posted.

I just discovered the AOA resort and since my boys love Cars, that is probably where we will stay. I love planning my trip this far out, it gives me something to look forward!

Count me in for 2013 .

I'm not sure of my dates. Ideally, I would like to go between the middle of May and the 1st week of June. Depending upon pricing for 2013 I may end up going during value season, July or 1st of August unless we get a super, duper room only discount.

I had the most amazing 1st visit this past June and I cannot wait to go back in 2013. This time it'll only be four of us going vs. 10 who went on my first trip.

As for resorts, we'll definitely be staying on-site and preferably at a Deluxe. However, if my funds or the mother and daugther accompanying us funds are low I can definitely do a moderate or even a value.

I can't wait!!
